Oh dear. Hello again.

"It's a lot easier when the competition is so sparse." He had clarified sheepishly.

If Eva knew what was left of the precinct's staff, she might've impressed with the fact he still chose to remain in Sootopolis instead.

Or question his intelligence, either or.

Back to the action however, 'Squishy' turned out to be Wailord, the titanic sized pokemon, whose prompt landing nearly capsized their ship and threw Gwyar overboard.

"BLOODY H—!" Shouted Gwyar as the ship swung about while Eva worked to course correct, his back swinging against the railing and nearly throwing him to high seas, the back of his knees locking tight around the bar. "This is why we wear life vests!"

While still hanging off the side of the ship, Gwyar still managed to get a good enough look at the oncoming vessel. 2 rockets, 3 civilians.

"Confirmed!" Gwyar shouted in response to Eva's instructions. "Jorgie, Finish the entrapment! Dragon dance!"

With the Rockets busy navigating the Wailord's whirpools, their large boat made easy pickings. The Gyarados disappeared underneath the waves briefly before its body suddenly breached the surface directly under the civilian vessel.

Its large body flowed across the deck as it wrapped around the ship like a rope, the ridges across its back knocking one of the rockets to the floor as the other shouted in panic, flailing for his pokeballs.

Things did not go well for the rockets; specially once the officers and Blade boarded the ship.

Suffice to say, the family of 3 made it back to port safely, and the rockets were successfully apprehended.

"Hello, little one." Gwyar said softly as he knelt before the adorable, tiny bug, gently reaching out to rub the shy thing's head. "I won't hurt you, don't worry."

He wasted a couple of minutes playing around with the Snom before reluctantly rising back to his full height, almost not wanting to leave the little guy behind.

Oh well. Back to gardener hunting.

He was tending to an impromptu garden growing up the wall of his apartment building and around his balcony now. The Crystal Blooms were simply much too pretty for him to let them wither on his sight.

But— he knew nothing about gardening, and couldn't well annoy Elisabeth Fiorelli every time he needed assistance. So, he needed something or someone who, provided it was taught the proper routine, could look after them for him.

That is to say, he needed a grass type pokemon to do his gardening for him.

And both of his Tsareenas were being much too sassy for him to ask them.

A flower for your thoughts

Hello again, Elisabeth Fiorelli.

"Please do. Perhaps you can make it a step by step list? I'm terrible at this sort of thing." He had chuckled then.

Inevitably, his request was accepted.

"Of course." He followed after her, eager to witness the fabled specimen.

He hadn't seen any grass grass-type pokemon out and about since he had arrived. He couldn't help but ponder on just where the woman kept her reserves. She didn't seem like an avid PC user...

Before long, he stood before the specimen, a curious expression upon his face as he examined the small, timid thing. A single bloom, glittering under the sunlight, no less beautiful for its small size.

Wordlessly, the man plucked his own bloom from his breast pocket and gently held it up Elisabeth's smaller one, humming thoughtfully.

"Are you certain?" He asked after a moment. "Of its life expectancy, I mean."

If their lives truly were so fragile, there wasn't much that could be done with them after all.

"Hn. Then I guess my little batch won't be adorn my balcony for long." A pity.

As Boris evacuated the unconscious children through its poltergeist, Nikita had already turned around and stomped off to assist Crimsen with the ass whooping.

He wasn't meant to baby seat, he was meant to crush grown men into tiny little pieces, damn it.

... Okay, maybe he was getting a little too into character there.

Rushing back to the adult side of matters, the large officer stomped past the burning rooms and ocassionally unconscious rockets and their pokemon, until—

The familiar sound of a blade slashing through air and against the wall's metallic surface reached Nikita's ears. He speed up, and rounded into a hallway to find Crimsen engaged on a life or death struggle against a Rocket swordsman.

"komrade!" Boomed the large man. "Komrrrade, childrrren are being evakuated!"

The swordsman stopped in their ceaseless assault of the vigilante to sink into a low stance, suddenly trapped between the two invaders in the hallway.

A tragic figure, it seemed he had encountered.

How much had she lost? Had it all been to the calamity from earlier that night, or had it simply taken what last remained, bringing together past and present loss?

Either way, she was wallowing in her misery too much. He had seen eyes like hers in the past— and if she truly was alone in the world now, there wasn't much time left for her.

"I am, madam." He said gravely. "Now let's get you fixed up."

The large cop slowly shrugged his coat off his shoulders before pressing it to the woman's mouth.

"Bite onto this." The man ordered. Perhaps she would be able to guess his intention then, as his arm moved to cradle her head and slowly force her to sit up.

Entirely so he could pop her shoulder back into its socket.

Pop.

Agonizing, surely, but she was lucky he was trained to do so. With any luck, the physical pain distracted from her emotional misery, however briefly.

"What is your name, madam?" The man asked as he took back his coat, slipping it over his shoulders. "Surely your name, at least, remains."

Gwyar & Oliver Shrakes vs declan walsh

Gwyar glanced over at Oliver Shrakes as he joined in besides him, nodding sharply at him. Not a man he knew personally, but one of whom he had read during their briefing for the mission. A Rockruff did not inspire confidence in many, but Gwyar was Raki's trainer; he knew a small pokemon could still pack plenty of tricks, and plenty of punch as well.

The blonde said nothing as the pool of shadows coalesced into a man, suckling in a sharp breath only once he was whole.

The most infamous man in Hoenn stood before them now, as dapper and haughty as any aristocrat he had ever met, the man's cape much mirroring Gwyar's own.

Except, you know, Gwyar's was infinitely classier and cooler, obviously.

The knight forced a 'confident' smile.

"Glass houses, Mr. Declan. You and your band of revolutionaries are being quite obtrusive yourselves." He said, ignoring the sweat dripping down the nape of his neck as his smile sharpened. "How about you take a long, sobering look at the giant boulder barreling towards us and cease this nonsense?"

Even as he spoke, it felt as if the shadows in the crags were stretching around the corner of his eyes, closing in on his back. What a terrifying person.

Gwyar liked to think he feared no man, but had it not been for the experiences he had endured in Hoenn until now, he realized he might've frozen in place while confronted by this one.

He couldn't help but note everything about the way the man moved, the way the shadows weaved and contorted in unnatural ways around him; they were deeper, and darker —much more so than their surroundings would've called for— and felt much more dangerous...

Looking into his cape was almost like regressing back to his early childhood, when darkness seemed to hide all the evils and dangers of the world.

It seemed his sass was not to the Rocket Boss' liking; a Nidoking stood between them and the terrifying man now.

"I humbly disagree." He said, suckling in another breath as the Nidoking's roar rattled his bones, reverberating inside his chest.

Even so, his own heartbeat rose over the beast's lungs in his ears, thundering. The chilling temperatures of the peak swiftly rose to sweltering heat as whipping wind battered at his cheeks, the sting of burning dots of sand touching against his skin brief as the sash around his chest loosened.

"You've gone through the trouble of coming all the way here!"

The sash suddenly snapped forth like a whip, swinging a shield before him as his sword came alight with a blinding glow.

"I insist we chat over some tea and handcuffs."

A King's Shield formed between them and the burning sand, the sweltering heat battering at the barrier as the shining brightness of Caladbolg cut through the obscuring sand.

Which sword is greater?

The clash of steel against steel rang through the desert like thunder.

He sure was glad these ghost swords were chivalrous enough to not use any of their supernatural powers to pulverize his bones on contact.

The sentient sword's edge swung across the air as the man's blade rose to deflect it, the shrill scraping of metal scratching against his eardrums before he took a step forth and parried aside, bringing his sword around the opponent's edge with a flourish that sent the ghostly warrior into the defensive.

His hands throbbed as his counter attack bounced off an impassable wall, the King's Shield return shockwave rippling through muscle and bone. But he did not release his sword even as the enemy went to counter him, using the momentum of the bounce to bring his sword around into an ox guard as the Aegislash swung—

Another clang rung through the desert as his sword recieved the other, the grinding of metal following as the man stepped forth and drove the tip of his blade right—

Up to the Aegislash guard, hovering it over its eye.

"... Again?" He asked after a moment, a tired smile stretching over his lips.

Are you ready, Sénon Game?

While Senon and his armada of fire-types were keeping things messy on the adults side, on the children side, Nikita was having a little more trouble. Unfortunately, he couldn't punch his problems away.

The fire had thrown the children into chaos. Enough so that when he marched in, he realized some of them weren't kidnapees. They were little rockets in training.

And the kidnapees? Possibly friends they had managed to 'recruit' into the cause.

This would be problematic.

Specially given all the Poochyenas and Zubats staring at him and growling, all slowly inching close towards him.

"Kaaaalm down, childrrren." The massive man intoned in a deep voice, sighing as the children took a step back, some clearly frightened. They looked as if he had just threatened to snap their necks. "Nikita is here to rescue you."

He wasn't a good fit for this task...

But he needed to see it through. The moment his hands began moving to his belt however, he was sure the pokemon would all come down on him...

Luckily for him, he didn't have to worry for long.

The power of the supernatural was on his side, they would all realize as the little pokemon suddenly began to either float in the air or lose control of their flight, caught up in Boris' Poltergeist.

And with that, Gwyar's arm flashed, grasping several more pokeballs—
