Her stomach may churn and flip at all the remnants that flood this basement, but nothing would make her feel worse than the fact that those that surround her could become just like them at any moment. Thea Naito - That fleeting glimmer of fear that must cross her eyes when she sees the other's chain suddenly tying to the ground. That quiet scream she tries to choke down as she realises that her and Isaac are doomed with the same fate.[break][break]

Her body tenses, her eyes flick and search through the darkness if only to catch a glimpse of where the wild ogre must be. Andrea Vaneau is right, their appearance does remind her of the pokemon from the simulation. Sure, simulation could be all lies, but she knows it must be suffering in the same way they do. Surely, one as cheerful and playful as them didn't truly want to hurt them.[break][break]

Her heels lifts to take that tentative step back, but she forces herself to resist and ground it once more. She can't run. She can't abandon Isaac in a time like this. Deep breaths, she has to keep an eye out for it. It chills her to see someone crawling towards them, begins to chip at her bones when she realises who this is.[break][break]

"You have to stay strong too, miss." She'd be a fool to miss the way that Genevieve Cromwell is crumbling too. She tries to grab her hand, if only for a moment, to offer that same warmth and strength that Isaac tells her to hold onto for him.[break][break]

There is a moment, a lull whilst the ogre chases and kicks everyone else down. In that time, she whispers an apology as she lets him down slowly. And she'll do her very best, she'll clean without wasting even a moment, tossing the muck closer to the center so others can carry it to the bowl in their stead.[break][break]

Damn these chains, but damn if she'd let it stop her from doing all that she can. No time to stop, no time to waste. Her area and whatever else she can reach within Isaac's own space will be cleaned. And when she's certain that he'll be fine, that Genny will do whatever else that must be done, she steps as far away from him; From everyone else close to her as possible and takes a deep breath.[break][break]

The first thing she feels is roughness against her skin, Reiner's mane gently brushing against her arm as he tries to nudge her. And he rumbles softly, pulling her close whilst they still have a lull in the scenario. And it is here that everything begins to hit. She doesn't recall when it started: When she began holding her breath, when her chest had started hurting, when her cheeks had become streaked with tears.[break][break]

Fireworks bloom in the night sky, but she won't quite be able to see them with her blurry vision. Even when she takes a breath and tries to rub her eyes, everything quickly clouds over again.[break][break]

"T- the fireworks just startled me, that's all." Horrible as the lie may be, it seems to satisfy the masked child, who simply nods and reaches over to pat her shoulder. Perhaps, they get what it's like to jump at loud noises? Whatever the case, they gently take her hand, tugging on it as they point over to the game stalls in the distance.[break][break]

"A game?" She remembers playing with them for the first time with Navy and his brother Gabe, how fun it'd been to explore a festival together... As does Reiner, though he's more keen on letting her decide what to do. So even if she might fail horribly, she pulls together a hint of a smile, letting herself get pulled along with their cheers.[break][break]

"We could try magikarp fishing, if you're interested?"[break][break]

howard slayte had taught her a few tricks amidst his manic episodes. Though, the look that Reiner gives her is a clear warning to behave herself.

[attr="class","eris109"]Traversing through overgrown bushes, it's not often you find a dead body in the wild. And really, it shouldn't be first instinct to look around for a stick to try and poke it. Or at least, she assumes she can poke it, until the corpse suddenly begins to groan... and crawls right back to their feet.[break][break]

Normally, most people would have the thought to check up on the said possessed body or something. Maybe start with an 'oh my gosh, are you okay?' or 'do you need help?'. Instead, this girl looks to the Luxray beside her as if that's been the most normal thing she's seen since a gargantuan dragon split the earth and created an infinite chasm chock full of crack crystals. And she leans in, rather confident of their hiding spot within the bushes, to whisper.[break][break]

The rock beneath Diancie shatters, disturbed and churned by lightning that will not remain grounded. Thunder snarls as the atmosphere grows dense, electricity chanting prayers that are woven into blinding armour. Energy thrums with Reiner's advance, an uncontrolled current exploding from Diancie's position and streaking through her diamond storm.[break][break]

Not quite enough to blast open a true path, never strong enough to shatter her creations. But perhaps, just enough to disrupt the flow of the storm, to reduce his obstacles to a manageable field of crystals that he can attempt to weave through.

Yeah, the origins aren't too clear to her. "But anyways, this interdimensional group told us 'your Hoenn is the origin point and will end all worlds!' So that's why they shut Hoenn off from the rest of the world and tried to kill us all with the meteorite?"[break][break]

A breath to look at his reaction. Is he getting the gist of it? Reiner seems to be following along, and he's usually pretty outspoken on when she doesn't make much sense. Or maybe that's a judgemental look he's slipping her.[break][break]

"Apparently... I think what happened was that Rayquaza shattered it. And then... Kyurem came with the meteorite? Or maybe it came form another world... But that's how this place was formed, when it tried to freeze everyone."

But she'd never once been failed by Reiner or her guardian pixie, who'd come to her aid as soon as possible. Even if she were no one, surely none of the avatars would be abandoned by their patrons. Add on the fact that their 'blessings' are disabled...
