Summer kept her arms crossed, perhaps too calm for one that was being approached by a growling pack of MIGHTYENA. That, or her confidence in her own team was enough to settle her mind.

She observed as Elisabeth's AROMATISSE, aptly named, took charge. It was seemingly unafraid of the head of the pack, who growled and grumbled. Instead, it performed its dance, settling the MIGHTYENA'S nerves and calming him.

What a strange sight, seeing a vicious creature snuggling into an innocent looking Pokemon.

Glancing over, Summer couldn't help a smirk at her question.

"All of the above. We do what we can to keep them immobile and bring them to our contractor. If it takes your Pokemon doing everything and passing out, do it."

She'd do the same to hers.

Summer's red gaze looked over her team of three before looking back to Elisabeth like she made some sort of joke. She was a bold one, in her eyes. Summer took her suggestion as more of a command than anything other.

"Of course they can. And, if need be, we'll disintegrate them."

Sure, it was counterintuitive of what she had just said. But...

"We have money for repercussions. It wouldn't cause serious harm should one or two disappear along the way."

With a flick of her wrist, Loki and Freya stepped forward to begin rounding up the front. Surtur, on the other hand, took the rear, to prevent anyone from slipping away.

It seemed that Summer wasn't the only one frustrated with mint frost's actions. After sending a fist to the poor Rocket, she heard a few voices speak behind her.

"Let's no be foolish. Careful what we touch. We don't know enough about our surroundings to be able to afford to take unnecessary risks," Elisabeth Fiorelli spoke.

luka chêne tried to calm her down as well, saying "stop" to not only her, but to Mint and Cefin Glynn.

Leave it to her to be the voice of reason in a time like this. Summer, though still furious, looked over her before surrendering with a huff, letting go of Mint's shirt with a rough yank and a harsh, red glare. She didn't seem to care that black ooze was leaking from his nose now.

"Mind what you do. We're trying to get out of here. This isn't a game," she spat, as though poison filed her mouth.

Classic Summer Prescott. The bitchiest of bitches.

Instead, she abandoned the ladder, noticing the UNOWN hovering around BARNABY FINCH. She approached, hesitantly and slowly, speaking in a low voice.

"Do you... do you think they'll help us?"

And then he was revealed. Chu-e Choi. Summer knew the Underboss, though not personally. She had worked under him, heard his name, seen him a few times when she was of lower ranking. What was he doing there?

Eris Halla ran forward, crying out to him. And Cillian Quinn became hostile, protective of her, toward the thing that he believed was not the Underboss.

"Eris... Eris, dear, would you come here to me?" Summer asked, offering her hand and kneeling down.

A protective feeling overcame her. Her heart began to pound, as though a new threat was invading the room. Because that red liquid oozing from the door was still there.

Summer's sense of direction was rewarded, it seemed. As she passed the ROSELIA, she noticed the blooms growing on the sides around her.

As though the goddess of spring herself had blessed Summer with each step she took.

Another Pokemon, a LILLIGANT, offered a gift to her. Summer could only assume that she had made the correct decision as she accepted the gift with a nod, storing the Poke balls away.

So, she continued onward until she met another split. A loop to the left? Or a narrow, snaking path to the right?

Summer went RIGHT.

Summer felt fingers wrap around her wrist and tug her away, a demanding pull that she was not pleased with despite their circumstances. However, though she typically would yank her arm away, she didn't.

Perhaps she could sense the gravity of the situation and the frantic energy building. A need to escape, to get out as soon as possible lest something terrible happen to them.

However, that weight grew and grew, and they were gone. They were no long along the waters. Summer and Alexandra were somewhere else, not in Hoenn. A strange place that was both familiar and alien all at once.

"Dammit. We're trapped," Summer muttered to herself.

The situation reminded her of the Star Soiree. Though it wasn't exactly the same, she remembered an almost otherworldliness there as well. It brought a shiver down her spine.

The creation of a maze with the promise of a prize should you beat it.

That was something Summer couldn't pass up. She loved a good challenge, and she loved prizes that benefitted her in the long run.

She heard that this maze was created by the woman she had encountered before, Elisabeth Fiorelli, in Oldale. She also remembered that same woman sending out messages, flowers, and chocolates during Palentines day.

She seemed like a busy woman.

Approaching the maze, Summer entered, taking her time walking until she reached the first stop. Left or right?

Summer chose right.

Summer gave a small huff, crossing her arms over her chest as she regarded the admin. She tilted her head to one side slightly, raising one of her eyebrows as well.

"It's about formality, Killian. Even if I'm severely intoxicated, it's engrained in me to be respectful to my superiors. Martín del Mar... he is my superior, but he's also someone I know more than anyone else in the upper ranks. Therefore, I find it easier to call him Mars then Mr. del Mar."

Perhaps her explanation would be lost on him, since he disliked surnames so much. She could tell, since he called her Summer rather than Miss Prescott. Ah, c'est la vie. The world would continue to go round.

"He teases everyone, doesn't he? Give him a good smack. Might make him be quiet," she suggested with a smirk on her lips as she approached the desk.

"Regardless, for our mission today, I wanted to ask for intel. Is there a particular individual we are tracking down? I figured, since I was meeting you here, we would debrief before heading out to find the target of the day."

Summer was careful not to step on the books on the rug as she approached, staying in front of his desk as she waited for the admin's reply.

Some people would be intimidated being partnered with a Rocket Beast. Or a Rocket Beast who is engaged to an Admin. But Summer?

She didn't really give a damn. Not about much, anyway.

The reality was, she really wanted to get home, to rest, to find something to do. It was tiring, being pulled from work to help Rocket with missions and then be expected to complete the day. Not to mention her mental state was out of control on its own as well.

The two women were sent to the Water Routes for some mission regarding a water-type Pokemon.

However, they never made it to the mission.

A sparkling apparition seemed to appear around them, something that Summer hadn't seen before.

"The fuck is that?"

Unable to say anything else, it swallowed Summer and Lex, sending them into a distortion.

Summer couldn't help the amused sniff through her nose as she exhaled when Elisabeth commented about the exams. Did she enjoy herself?

Thinking back to that day, she could barely remember a thing. In truth, Martín del Mar had to recount many of the details the following day to her, given how intoxicated she had been. So, one could say that Summer Prescott did enjoy herself at the exams.

"I suppose I did."

Summer led the way, not bothering to turn to see if Elisabeth was keeping up with her pace. While she wore heels, she walked quickly, as though she was ready to get the job done as soon as possible. She was a busy woman, and this was merely another distraction in her busy schedule.

She heard a noise from her companion, turning to glance at her before looking to the shadows. There, they eyes gleamed back at her, and low growls could be heard from where they hid.

"Well done, Loki," Summer praised, promising a reward to her Pokemon once they left for home.

Elisabeth's voice hinted at mischief, something Summer took note of. She raised a brow at her, giving a look before turning back to problem at hand.

"Don't get too excited, now. We do need to bring them back to Rocket relatively unharmed."

Unfortunately for Summer, that meant Surtur was out of the question. He was strictly used for damage. Loki and Freya would be the ones more apt to handle this situation.

Another day in Slateport.

Summer was coming to dislike this city each time she came to it. For whatever reason, many of the liaison's clients requested to meet there, perhaps because it had ample areas for privacy to discuss black market information and the like. It did also have incredible entertainment.

But, she got bored of the same place over and over again. So, each request to meet there, she bit her tongue, said okay, and would grin through the irritation before leaving.

She decided to treat herself to a drink or two that evening. Summer came to find some of the best bars in Slateport through these business ventures, and none of them had disappointed her yet.

As she entered, she sat at the bar, ordering a drink. While it was being prepared, a flash of blonde hair caught her eye, followed by a familiar face.

Him.

"Well. Hello, Andres."
