He can't say he's seen annalise henderson during RESURFACED TREEASURES. Though, he doubted she'd want to go into it so fresh out of her captivity. Rocket were not known to keep personnel in captivity, alive, for so long. There fact that they made it to her before the worst could happen is fortunate. [break][break]

The moment they step into this rift, the environment is so violent. It's different to the Mechanical Kingdom or Ultra Deep Sea. Ultra Plant is constant booming thunder and lightning streaking across dark, fast moving skies. The place is, environmentally, the roughest he's encountered. [break][break]

"Callie, think our suits will make it through this?" he asked as they stepped onto dry earth and electrical cords running everywhere. They dwarfed him, and in the distance perhaps mistaken by the boom of thunder, is strange, gigantic Xurkitree. [break][break]

In that instant his Florges swoops forward releasing a gentle smelling AROMATHERAPY, to help calm the Littens before floating in front of the little to prepare a MOONBLAST for cover. Paxton meanwhile ran in after her, moving closer to the kittens and trying not to make them panic. [break][break]

Hopper waits for her to enter before chirping robotically and gently closing the door after her. They TELEPORT once more to Paxton's side, expectantly after helping their trainer assist. Paxton allows them seat on his desk as he pulls out a little treat for the robotic bird to nibble on. "Of course, my offer was sincere." Part of his job was having his door open for those that needed it. He didn't mind it. [break][break]

He blinks, glancing down at his partner as she seemed to dull, just slightly. But he nods anyway, as if reassuring her the door behind them is closed to avoid eavesdroppers. "Well, it's good to keep busy." he said, noncommittally. "Where did you live before Lillycove? I just moved out of the city to work here for my promotion." he said. Though he has a surprisingly small amount of things so the change in homes was not that bad. [break][break]

"I can see that." he points briefly to her bob cut. "Did a pokemon drag you by it so you cut it?" he asked. Far out there, but not improbably. In fact, it was the only reason why Paxton tried to trim his own hair semi regularly.

Paxton stumbles, his attention now entirely on Ana. "Hey!" he yelled as he reoiled form the woman. He knew you weren't supposed to abruptly wake up a sleep walker but this was starting to look like his only options. [break][break]

“Thank you Joules, I'm fine.” He said finally feeling all the soreness and pain of the skirmishes settling into his bones. He's sure he's fractured something or sprained a muscle. But he comes out alright for the most part. Body bruised and a slight limp but nothing permanent. He sheds his gear like a second skin and heaves a sigh of relief as he pulls off his helmet. The visor scratched from all the knives pulled on him throughout the day. [break][break]

His hair is wet and slicked back with a mix of more sweat than gel at this point. “Joules…you’re dented…” he observed, running a calloused hand over their dinged up outer shell. The Magnezone beeps slowly, deeper than usually. Like it's a struggle. But they wave their magnets around and try to appear cheerful. He smiled, sighing in relief. At least, Joules is with him. “Let’s get busy then.” he said knowing the medical staff would probably be overwhelmed with the amount of people coming back from the island. He busies himself pulling out his unused supplies and going around to offer nurses and doctor’s assistance, disinfecting and bandaging up surface level wounds and debriefing those in shock. One of those apparently one of their own gym leaders. Paxton frowned already varying levels of concerned and displeased with this turn out. But he doesn’t voice it now. Instead he offers the kid, who he vaguely recognized from crystalbloom research a while back. “Hey, you drank anything yet?” he asked as he fussed with the teenager’s ( barely ) blanket.

“Mmm. Maple bacon is better than I thought.” He said, finishing off a warm cakey donut and wiping his licked clean fingers. His philosophy opposite of Gunner after too many close counters. And if he crossed over to the Border today then all the better. [break][break]

He doesn't tell them he still dreams of the best sleep of his life. [break][break]

Joules beeps at the trio and their pokemon comrades. She sees nothing as of yet, and Paxton's borrowed instruments report nothing. The sea is violent, churning and moving erratically. All of it seemed to react to Kyogre's strange mood. The behemoth hidden in the depths of the sea.[break][break]

He turns over that day- the exercise with Kyogre in his mind. What the fuck went wrong? “Our intel said it was moving through here and the way the sea is acting seems to co firm it…just wish we knew what it was looking for.” He said to the other two. [break][break]

“Wonder what MATIAS SILPH and Eva Morales think of this. Been so busy I haven't been able to confer with them.” [break][break]

Joules beeps again, this time faster and Paxton looks up at her. Waves begin to swell and the skies grow darker. Rain pours in sheets out of nowhere a d he shivers. Something primal grips his heart in ice as she gives a direction which he relays. “3 o'clock something-” he stops mid sentence as in the distance with the pitch of a wave comes the glowing, giant yellow eye. [break][break]

And he knows- he knows that this monster isn't looking at them. They don't matter in the grand scheme of things except to be proxies of its will when the time comes but- [break][break]

Gods above.

Does he feel such an instinctual, deep urge to run away as it surfaces partly before letting off a terrible roar and a violent ORIGIN PULSE. “Joules-” but she's already dropped in front of him and his compatriots with a PROTECT.

There's a faint smell of PINE that wafts over the safari zone, even at this distance of the lobby entrance. A shiny Stonjourner moves slowly, wind almost seeming to whistle through its legs. Paxton watches it go by, calm and oblivious to him. Once they pass, he tosses a safari ball at its back to catch it by surprise.

"I'm a pump and dump kind of guy." Paxton calls back, as the casing flies and rolls away on the ground with the reload. His partner moves in as the Sirfetched suddenly appears and comes down HARD on Joules. The Magnezone tries their best to stay up, but eventually collapses onto the ground. [break][break]

Paxton doesn't even hesitate as the air stills and he takes aim at the Sirfetched Bryan had left behind. Its only after it stopped breathing that he noticed there's no way to actually get out of this place. "Fuck." He's stuck.

The ground rumbles loudly as a tree begins to materialize. At first, Paxton turns and thinks its DREAMMIST but then he sees the person repsonsible. "bryan delarosa." he snarls as the throns ripple outward hitting him and his troops. [break][break]

safari hunt 4 [sz]

The safari zone this month was pretty interesting to him this month. He can't quite figure out the theme of it but he does like the pokemon in. They're all quite brightly colored and if anything, he needed some color in his life. Specifically his apartment. But his life would do too. He starts his hike, careful of the dirt and rock ground and loose rocks everywwhere.
