Remi chuckles, amused by his lack of understanding. It simply meant she had to be far more forward in her questions and answers. It's why, once they're settled and comfortable, she leans in next to him to whisper.

"So.. is there any chance I can take you home after this?"

And, as promised, Remi manages to rig the game in their favor. She does it subtle, losing and winning in order to make it look real. But by the end of the night, Felix would be coming home with a lot more than $100.

Another voice interjects to make a comment on the man on the ladder. She glances over her shoulder, spotting the woman. One quick glance over suggests the woman is pretty, and Remi's pursed lips encourage that thought, too.

"It did, did it? Well, I suppose we should go after him then."

Remi smirks, abandoning the man on the ladder in favor of a wild goose chase with a pretty face.

Both of her Sneasel reappear in a flash, crippling a Gabite before it has a chance to sneak-attack them instead. Ever efficient, and giving Remi the window she needs to flirt and fuck around. The perfect team.

Because honestly? The more and more she watched this man and his Pokemon work, the more interested in him she became. Maybe it was the way he spoke, or the broadness of his shoulders. Maybe it was his nonchalant attitude and the slight smiles he offered his Pokemon. Or maybe she's lonely and he's right here.

Whatever the case may be, she only gives the fainted Gabite a brief moment of her attention, temporarily overlooking her fear of dragons in favor of getting laid.

Hopefully, anyway.

"Almost sounds like you're asking me out." She smirks, her expression playful. "If you were.. I might just have to say yes."

She wasn't here to argue. She was just here for answers, and clearly she wasn't getting them. That was fine, understandable, even. Who was she, after all, but a woman on a rage bender because her brother had died? She was putting her hand in the vipers pit both hoping to get bit while also hoping the venom wouldn't affect her.

"Glad to hear it, boss. I look forward to see where your plans take us."

She rises to stand, ignoring the Sylveon that jumps up on his lap. If he had nothing more to say, she'd exit his office.

"Well that wouldn't do, would it? How are we supposed to get paid if they're dead, Mr. Jenkins?"

She says this sarcastically, with a tilt of her head.

"I'm going to make it look like they died so that we can take them out of the picture. No one will know."

And then, just when he asks, they pull up to their destination. In the back, everything seems to be going as planned. The Pokemon they were smuggling would probably be delivered with some frostbite, but if they were alive, that's all that mattered.

"C'mon, kid. Let's make some money."

She blinks, confused and amused in the same breath. But she shakes it off to step closer, purposely invading the woman's personal space just a little bit. Perhaps she wanted her to blush.

"How about.. I show you something else?"

Remi smiles, encouraging the woman to dance with her a bit more fluidly.

She sinks deeper into the water, cracking one eye open to gaze at the man. Her brow raises and she smirks, proceeding to waggle them across the hot spring to him. He was cute, even if the steam and the alcohol interfered with her vision.

"I don't know about that, love. A face like that.. maybe I could be swayed."

"Sounds like you don't have a plan at all. Shame, and I was just starting to like you."

She smirks, clearly teasing, especially with the way she looks him up and down. She even seems to click her tongue as if disappointed in missing out on a fine piece like him. Shame, shame.

"Well.. you wouldn't happen to have anything to make things damp, do you? Prevent these bastards from getting their jimmies rustled?"

Her attention spans to the Ampharos that lights up the darkness. It's helpful, sure, but it also draws attention them. What were the chances the Golem were blind?

"Or I can just flash freeze the cave."

She likes this: the hunt. Seeing the expression on her partners face, especially if they are new to the chase. But she doesn't run from her. No, she seems to enjoy it- and that makes the taste of her much sweeter.

Remi presses closer, leans deeper. The hand at her cheek trails down her neck, brushes hair away from her shoulder so that her nose might trail the softness of her skin. She smiles, a low, seductive growl in her throat.

"Am I scaring you, miss Lyons?"

She whispers, teeth grazing the soft skin of her jaw. She smirks, pulls back to watch her and read her expression.

"You think that those are cute sounds?" she scoffs, clearly unconvinced. But she disregards it and continues, only for the entire world to change.

She wasn't in Hoenn when the fog had hit, when the Unown had shown up, and when the stress and the fear had set in. She can feel, however, the immediate change in atmosphere the moment it rolls in now. The people around her change, they tense up and they freeze. Naturally, she doesn't because she doesn't know what's happening.

What she does see, however, is the little girl from earlier, miss Eris Halla, hyperventilating. Call it motherly instinct, but she responds immediately to intervene and try to calm her.

"Hey, kiddo, everything's okay."

Someone else is here too, another kid she recognizes as the one from the Wooloo herding assignment. She makes an effort to herd both of them away from the mist now, all while ignoring the wild hallucinations she might be experiencing. In the background, the woman's Pangoro grumbles in protest but files in behind her, willing to be their shield.
