Nenet exhales audibly, stress touching her expression as she glances back towards the front door of the building. What would happen if someone saw them together who shouldn't?

Shaking her head, she squeezes Zev's hand in return and offers a wry laugh. "Don't be too annoying," is what she says instead. "I'm going to stay here and see if I can get one of them to wake." She tips her chin towards her nearby Clefable.

A thought overtaking her, she adds to Zev, "Be careful out there? We don't know what sort of injuries or the like could carry over. And we don't want to draw attention to ourselves here. We don't know where here is exactly or what else to expect."

Nenet hums softly at the statement, her curious expression deepening at Zev's statement. The man was either feeling a sliver of sentimentality or he was playing to the room, though either way Nenet was enjoying the perceived emotional closeness. But the ship had already sailed and set itself on fire as to being visibly tied to Zev.

Though, Nenet supposes, she could always work around a ring.

"Are you going to wear one," is what she asks, her voice lowly teasing as she expects a negative in turn. "I suppose you can come out with your Zoroark to buy it."

Really, Nenet expects this whole conversation to be more of an impulsive decision on Zev's part - one potentially dropped once the moment has passed. So she adds with a smile, "I want everyone to know who you belong to as well."

"It's a pleasure, Elisa," Nenet answers. She then gives a little laugh, her gaze casting towards the computer where the photos are blurry for lack of a better term.

"Measuring light energy output at the different wavelengths," she says before admitting in turn, "It's not my area either. But something is causing this to be fuzzy and that's my best guess."

She heaves an exhaled breath and then shrugs, her fingers lifting to rub at her eyes as she says, "That will have to be another day's venture. I'd have to find someone to work the machine unless you know again by happenstance?" With an arch of her eyebrow but nonetheless smiles as she suggests, "Or we could get coffee instead?"

Nenet momentarily eyes the Breloom warily based of its stance alone until the glassware is filled and she's relatively certain the Pokemon won't attack her. Cillian, on the other hand, proves the larger of two concerns as he offers a pre-emptive apology.

Well this should all be fun, shouldn't it?

Taking up the syringe, Nenet carefully pulls up a dose of the poison and connects it to the tubing. She frowns minutely, her free hand carefully tracing the lines until she's satisfied, and then says levelly to Cillian, "This won't feel good. If you start to feel dizzy, faint, or otherwise out of sorts let me know immediately."

With that warning spoken, she carefully pushes the plunger on the syringe and infuses a small amount of the poison.

She hums thoughtfully and crosses her arms as she thinks, her gaze flitting around the lunar surface before settling once more upon the altar. "It could be a time loop," she muses aloud; shifting her weight, her foot idly taps the ground beneath them as she ponders.

"This pocket realm around us could be constantly collapsing and reforming on a scale never seen before. Or a lifeform we've yet to recognise." Eyebrow arched once she finishes speaking, she looks back to Lulu.

Nenet nods faintly, her gaze trained purposefully on the suspended Pyroar until she finally looks to Zev at the mention of the underbosses. "Did they have any theories or the like about all of this?" She wishes she knew where Lulu Flint was - the woman's expertise would have come in clutch for planning.

Her brow furrows minutely as realisation strikes and she murmurs, "We can't be seen together outside of here either." With a shake of her head, she says instead, "I'll see what I can learn from the Megalopolans out there." Even if the thought made her skin crawl

"I knew," she answers quietly, purposefully. She never would have asked if she didn't think they would have have endured on some level.

Nenet then chuckles lowly, her soft and lazy as she murmurs in turn, "I like my apartment." It was somewhat cramped with the dogs, and her guest bedroom was wholly unusable for its intended function with Zev's things in there, but there was a certain comfort found in its walls she wasn't keen on finding elsewhere at present.

Her fingertips idly tracing across Zev's skin, silently lamenting the lack of crystals, her ministrations cease at Zev's abrupt announcement. Eyebrow arching minutely, she asks in turn, "Should we?"

She glances up to her husband's expression to gauge his mood, curiosity overcoming her own at his declaration.

Her toxic chain blighting anything that came too near to the escaping prisoners, Nenet found herself following after Zev and down into the Feeding Pit. Shockingly, Zev fumbled his landing and nearly sent himself sprawling. He coughed and cursed, an unhealthy sheen glowing across his skin like a sickly sweat.

"Zev," she murmured, concern laced in her voice and eyes wide; her hands hovered near his shoulders to steady him, close but never touching.

Nenet agreed with Zev - they needed to get out of here.

A sentential who hovers beside his side, Nenet paces beside Zev as they make their way through the hole to the lower portions of the ship. Her toxic chain dances with Zev's, more so threatening the Nihilego; one single swipe at the masked Ogerpon is made but Nenet pays no made as to whether the attack makes contact, instead following down into the void below.

Defeat briefly gripped Nenet as the tears all but washed away in their next shower followed by the silk's confiscation. Frustrated as she met with Zev once more in their shared dream, a new plan was hatched to find another method, and soon they were storing the tears in a groove in the cell floor.

One night a soft voice whispers in her ear, and she views a strange silhouette in the tears that she cannot seem to place. It's a Pokemon - or something like it - but which or what she isn't sure.

"Today's the day. Get ready."
[break][break]
Nenet nods, a faint determination managing to claw its way up from the recess of her battered psyche. She falls in line as they begin their work, her hands moving with route familiarity across the shards to polish their surfaces. She gasps softly as an explosion rockets through the area and Zev bolts to his feet - she's slower, though nonetheless hauls herself up.

Though not as quick to act - she instead assess their position and those around. Meanwhile Zev attacks immediately and then shoves Nenet forwards. Taking his queue she bolts towards the centre of the room as directed, running directly into a Megalopolan guard. The toxic chain connected to Nenet springs to life; and spring to life it does. She does not hesitate to accept THEO BECKETT's help, and with a burst of vitality it whips towards the nearest guard to disable them.

Nenet's toxic chain entwines with the Megalopolan's own toxic chain, coming together as one, before Nenet's disconnects and she bolts by; immediately the Megalopolan's toxic chain begins to bubble as it outgrows itself - what is unrestrained growth, a burgeoning of life, but a another term for cancer?

Not stopping to view her handiwork, she continues on her way towards the centre, her hand grasping after Zev's to ensure he's following behind before she releases him.

Nenet's mouth quirks into a coy smile at Zev's reply, and she returns his kiss as passionately as it's offered. She laughs when the kiss breaks, her eyes bright; her fingertips trail down Zev's shoulders, to his arms, to his hands, where she squeezes him before she settles on the edge of the bed.

Legs spread wide to rest over Zev's shoulders, Nenet murmurs a low, appreciative, "Good boy." Fingers first tangling in his hair to pull, Nenet's hands move down to dig into the man's spine, coaxing out ripples of dark crystal beneath her nails.

She curls, legs squeezing Zev's head threateningly as her nails dig into the crystalline flesh below. With a soft puff of air, she demands breathlessly, "Get on the bed, you're not done."

The nightgown tossed to the ground, Nenet idly stares at it sometime later. Sated and content, her eyes half-lid, she traces formulas across Zev's skin. With a mirthful hitch of her voice, she mumbles a low, "Happy Anniversary."

"Oh, well," Nenet answers breezily, acidly as they enter the lab, "If Walsh knows there goes my plans." She moves purposefully through the area, her hand motioning to a scale for Cillian to stand on as she takes the Antidote.

She records the number and then motions towards one of the chairs for him to take a seat.
[break][break]
A few phone calls later sees an assistant into the lab to place an IV into Cillian's arm. With that placed, Nenet explains, "We'll infuse a bit of the poison at a time and see how your body handles it." She places a glass beaker into his has as she instructs, "Have your Pokemon fill that with its poison."

The Antidote is drawn into a syringe and set nearby, and Nenet murmurs, "You're going to need to tell me how you feel as we proceed."

Nenet returned the kiss, her hands coming to rest over Zev's wrists where she held onto him; her fingertips lightly rest over the point of his pulses, reassuring her of his presence.

"We went back to the prison cell and you took the floor." She winces subtly as she speaks, something akin to sympathy colouring Nenet's expression as she looks over Zev. "But I remember the mask too," she adds, her voice low and pensive.

"I think it was just a manifestation of my wants - nothing real. It showed me life forming."

Nenet sighs, feeling as if she's been run into the ground. Tipping her chin towards the nearby vats holding her own Pokemon, she asks, "Have you found yours?"
