From the top of the delivery truck’s bed, the familiar man greets the Galarian royal with a grin and putting down his shades. A rabbit Pokemon that she’s familiar with is with him too, excitable as the Scorbunny can be. “Wyatt, I see that you are making the deliveries on this road. It’s a bit close to where Petalburg is which is a Rocket owned territory.”[break][break]

Why was he doing there in a road that could have Rockets assaulting a guy like him too? She’d probably worry for his safety as much as the man worried for hers.[break][break]

“I know the roads are dangerous.” She knew that as her elder cousin worried daily that the ambassador had thrown herself into the conflict because of her duty to protect her people, Galarian civilians that were forced to flee to Oldale from Petalburg. The ambassador speaks to Wyatt like she's resolute in seeing her job through. “But you needn’t worry for me because I have to protect my people from Rocket, it’s my position as their princess.”[break][break]

When she feels her friend’s Dive Ball wriggle, her Calyrex shard comes out on his own. Rocket probably didn’t have an interest in kidnapping her again, but they sure wanted to have the other king of the pair, the League’s Calyrex.[break][break]

“Please go back to your Pokeball, Charles.” The Galarian ambassador warns her shard gently though the hare king doesn’t appear to budge on that matter. In a way, the shard wanted to help the people he formerly ruled over like Elise is doing now. “I’m sorry, my friend here really worries me on his safety. I suppose he also wishes to help my people.”

When the Petalburg-Sootopolis war ended, many people had shaken faith in the League. Petalburg’s fall gave her that reminder of so many people from the captured city that were displaced, some were civilians. Even if the League had corrupt individuals, this was no reason why she can’t place her trust in the League and its government. [break][break]

For the sake of keeping the alliance her country had with the League government, Elise thinks it’s important that she keep her faith and loyalty to it. Her cousin had done the same even when people had no reason to trust him because he was a former Rocket.[break][break]

Her Mismagius floats by her side when she’ll make her round in Route 102. Elise does get a sense of discomfort from being in a route that’s close to Petalburg, but she has to do this for her fellow Ranger Captain friend. Shalin’s capture by Rocket proved to be a scary thing, the Galarian ambassador doesn’t want to make Remiel worry about her again.

A shiny Cubone walks in front of the shiny Spiritomb’s path where the little ground type inspects one of the decorated gravestones. Khorne sees that the green Cubone doesn’t think he has a presence yet and he surely didn’t want to battle a small Pokemon like it either. For now, the blue ghost type Pokemon explores the rest of the graveyard while the ambassador follows.[break][break]

And the shiny Cubone would ignore them too, leaving them to go off after another shadow to chase.

A man who ran a cruise franchise had called in for an appointment. Something about expanding the line over to her country and it was something that Elise can do, judging by the fact that her elder cousin had also contacted her with negotiations with the Queen and Prime Minister. With the Calyrex shard giving a lot of hope for her countrymen, she’s more confident that she can get through with those negotiations.[break][break]

She’ll wait in the lobby room itself instead of her office while her secretary writes down the names that had gone out into the embassy. Both Charles and Audrey help with moving the chairs back to where they were and the shard of Calyrex appeared to be very popular with the immigrants that saw him both in the lobby and the office.[break][break]

The female Magearna had gotten along with the hare king and even played games with him when the king wasn’t busy.

Elise knows that her Calyrex shard isn’t strong on his own. Without his steed, his power was a drop significantly from a Pokemon that can Dynamax or Mega Evolve.[break][break]

But even if he can’t fuse with his steeds, this was a Pokemon that had a lot of Infinity Energy. A god that took a good supportive role with how much she used his healing and support moves in battle. This was why the Galarian Ambassador always thought he was a stalwart ally despite his inability to change form at the moment. His skillset in supporting other Pokemon shone in the last battle in Petalburg.[break][break]

She arrived to the depths of Sea Mauville and intended to train Charles there. He was the one that took the lead into their excursion, partly because he wished to keep her safe as the shard holder.

Her Marshadow gets on edge when Veyle’s orange eyes spot a moving shape, round as the unknown Pokemon can be. When the wild Pokemon shows itself to the Marshadow, it would appear that a Pignite was looking for opponents to spar with. Veyle stands in between the ambassador and the wild Pignite as her eyes watch the movements of the fighting type pig Pokemon.[break][break]

And when the rotund fighting type strikes with a Head Smash, the Marshadow is able to see how clumsy and slow he was. With how fast the Marshadow was, she easily dodges it and gives the Pignite a left hook with a Thunder Punch. Elise throws a Dusk Ball from her pack to catch the downed fighter.

After the shiny Fennekin is captured, the ambassador sees a purple colored Pumpkaboo float over to her and her shiny Spiritomb. The wild Pumpkaboo seemed to like her as the female ghost type Pokemon encircles around the diplomat. Khorne isn't a bit happy with how his attention was divided between himself and the wild female Pumpkaboo.[break][break]

Without hesitation, the shiny Spiritomb throws a Shadow Ball right at the Pumpkaboo's face. The attack is strong enough that it would make the shiny Pumpkaboo faint on the spot and Elise catches the shiny Pumpkaboo with a Dusk Ball thrown at it. She'll have to say sorry to the little pumpkin ghost later.

The mystery man gives his name as Preston St. Claire. No title would be attached to his name which was a good thing. His name was easier to remember without any grand titles to know him by. It appeared that he was doing the same goal as the other blond man.[break][break]

“It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Preston.” Before she’ll have a good chat with the two men, a noise interrupts the conversing. The sound of screaming would make her almost jump a bit, but the purple-haired woman keeps her calm. Admiring the paintings of the mansion will have to wait.[break][break]

“They do have a way of getting into the Halloween spirit this month, I agree.”[break][break]

Preston soon offers to give her his arm while doing the same for Isaac. She doesn’t take his and partly because she could follow them on her own. “I am alright with following you and Isaac myself, don’t mind me.” Ivy replies to Preston’s offer.[break][break]

Smells coming from the banquet’s food fills her nostrils though she doesn’t take a plate of the food herself.

The other ranger doesn’t have to wait long as the arrival of the Galarian ambassador comes with her own Pokemon to train. This woman’s orange hair was easy to spot for the female royal and she’ll give the other ranger a wave. “Hello, it’s nice to meet you.” A smile came from the ambassador when she greets her acquaintance with a Queen’s English accent. “Elise Calcifet, a pleasure.”[break][break]

Of course, her accent was tinged a bit with her late mother’s native Johtonian tongue.[break][break]

“And this is Bern.” Elise introduces her shiny purple Braixen as the female fox greets the woman and her Staryu. “Her name’s Bernkastel, but I usually call her Bern as a shorter name.” [break][break]

“Is it your first time at the Sky Pillar?” The ambassador asks when she looks up at the tall spire of the tower. “My cousin did his research there, so he knows the tower from inside and out.”

The temple that she and her cousin would be doing maintenance for is on a steep cliff. Elise recalled that the last time that she had went riding dragon riding around the border of Sootopolis with Josh, the Mauville gym leader had told her that the city was Rocket owned. A territory that was dangerous to those who set foot in it once, not anyone from the League dared approach it.[break][break]

That was until the end of the Sootpolis-Petalburg war, the city itself was neutral around the two factions. She doesn’t know how that came about, but it probably was a truce between Rocket and League.[break][break]

Remiel Calcifet doesn’t have to worry about her not making it safely to the cliff where the temple stood. Her Rapid Strike Urshifu scales the steep cliff like it was nothing to the female ursine Pokemon. Elise held onto the fur of the legendary bear until Tianshi brings herself up on the cliff’s edge and pulls herself up.[break][break]

Dismounting off of the ursine Pokemon, the Galarian Ambassador turns towards her cousin with a nod. “I’m ready to head inside, cousin.”
