Seeing her cousin give her a nod, she switches out her Rapid Strike Urshifu and releases the Calyrex shard out of his Dive Ball before proceeding to follow her cousin’s lead with his Illumina Garchomp. The Galarian ambassador figures that his Garchomp may need support in battle if they’ll encounter danger at every turn in the temple. She’s not very acquainted with the temple’s layout like Remiel was which meant that she can’t hear the same things he hears.[break][break]

With how the shadows creeped around the temple’s insides, even the ambassador finds it a little scary. An oppressive air appears to be around, maybe its age would have a couple of vengeful spirits that died in its walls. Even so, her late mother’s training had prepared her to deal with spirits in order to calm them and figuring out what they wanted in the afterlife.[break][break]

She and her legendary shard stop when her cousin puts up a hand gesture before she sees him listen close to the sound. Elise is able to see the circular chamber with the light from Remiel’s Illumina Garchomp. [break][break]

“I heard it too.” She responds to her cousin while the floating Calyrex volunteers to position himself as her royal guard. Both the royal diplomat and her shard hear the low guttural sound, as faint as it’s resounding through the walls of the Draconid temple.

The royal ambassador hadn’t been to the beach in a while and Route 104’s one was something that always reminded her of home. Waves wash over the beach sands during the day that the princess decides to take her shiny Rowlet to train. Artemis is happy to walk on the sand and she feels the grains on her wing when the shiny owl takes it. Elise thought that her Rowlet can use the wild Pokemon here for battling since the small owl was new to it.[break][break]

Lars hasn’t called in and Elise worries for the senior ranger. She did have his number on speed dial and she wondered if he was not in this world anymore. This did warrant a trip to the Border again, just to see if Lars had died. If he was truly dead, she’ll only have the memory of helping him subdue Kyogre at the ocean routes a while back with his shiny Metagross.

Mauville City was filled with Halloween decorations around October and this was a job that required fairy type Pokemon to make their own sweetness on the candies they make. Elise had dropped her Mimikyu off to help make the candy though she does it a little discreetly than most. She is cautious when dealing with the ever constant threat of Rocket attempting to get information of her legendary shard.[break][break]

In a simple dark blue t-shirt and jeans, the royal Galarian ambassador with her baseball cap atop her head talks with her Mimikyu a bit. “Have fun with making the candy.” She gets a thumbs up from her ghost. “I will come to get you when you feel like you are finished or close to.”[break][break]

Like a silent ghost, the Galarian princess leaves to get herself a coffee in her favorite coffee shop. That left Alastor to look over the candy wrappers and the various candy treats that he’s supposed to help make with the Alolan Ninetales, Milcery, and the Igglybuff. [break][break]

Shadowy hands and tendrils come out of the costumed sheet of the Mimikyu and he gets to working on wrapping a sweet apple sherbet bar next to the Igglybuff using Copycat to decorate her own candy. Bits of sugar were taken from a little jar and he puts the sugar particles onto the candy before wrapping it up with his hands.[break][break]

He wraps more and more of the sherbet candies, puts sugar in them, and the flavored juice that hardened into the candy. He wanted to have candy too though gummies were his favorite.[break][break]

After he helped to wrap up the gummy Orthworms and the gummy Teddiursas he made out of the fruity gelatin with sugar, Alastor opens up one of the resealable bags and takes one of the gummy Orthworms for himself. Audible eating sounds can be heard from the Mimikyu as he tastes the flavor of the gummy Orthworm, evidently the green apple flavor. [break][break]

He quickly reseals it up with a Disguise after he takes a bit more than needed. No one would have to know that he was eating the gummies the Mimikyu made himself.

By now, her secretary had let the ambassador know that the ambassador’s intended guest arrived to the embassy. When Lucia pens down the name of the taller man, Elise comes to greet the owner of the cruise line personally along with the Calyrex that finished his little chore of setting up the chairs in the lobby. The Magearna would be walking to the break room to set up the tea set, just like how Chamomile had done it himself.[break][break]

“Hello Mr. Onassis. Welcome to the Galarian Embassy.” A little bow of her head came from the Galarian princess as she’ll remain as polite as her royal decorum lets her. “I think that matter that we discussed last meeting should be at my office. I will take you there.”[break][break]

And so, she begins the walk to her office and passes by a hallway down the other offices. Charles floats with her too, the shard knew his way around since he had been in the embassy longer now.[break][break]

“Oh, have you met Charles?” She asks the man on the way to her office when she introduces her Calyrex to him. “He is my friend or well…to put it more accurately, he’s my ‘child’ to take care of.”

She has seen that happen before at the war in Petalburg. Rocket doesn’t care much for who they hurt as long as they can claim the city for their own. That memory of seeing those people trapped in the air raided tents when she escaped with her guard leaves her in a position to feel guilty. Some of the dead were her people, immigrants that made their new home in Petalburg.[break][break]

“I…greatly appreciate that you admire my bravery and willingness to help. That’s what I want to do when I took up my cousin’s post.” The Galarian diplomat spoke while the Calyrex shard gives a wave to the female Scorbunny, Pele’s a fellow rabbit in arms. “My reason for fighting Rocket here despite what you’ve said that I have no business here in Hoenn… They were responsible in razing the hometown I was born and raised in. My late mother was born there in Ecruteak too and I can never forget the screams of those who died in the attack.”[break][break]

She’d remember that the gym leaders had done their best to repel Rocket out of invading their cities and towns. Ultimately, the region’s legendary beasts gave their lives to protect the region and Rocket’s attempt was thwarted. [break][break]

“It’s personal for me.” Elise knows that she’ll worry her cousin, but he was fighting too in this current war situation. “And I don’t want to be powerless again to stop Rocket when I was younger then. Alas, I'm...not strong enough to fight one of their strongest members in spite of having Charles here.”

Those were always the words of people who questioned why the Galarian ambassador was here when she should be helping her country back home. She should be putting her funds into the country’s disaster relief and lifting the people’s sorrows from losing their family members to the scourge of the Darkest Day.[break][break]

Her answer was very simple. It was much like what freya morningstar spoke to her the day that she met with the councilwoman.[break][break]

“You may not think it…on a member of the Galarian royal family who seems to have selfishly abandoned her people and her country, all just to find her cousin to see how he is doing.” The ambassador says in an eerie calm seriousness in spite of how she’ll feel right now in rightful anger. “But I still fight for my people here in Hoenn. It doesn’t change my stance. Charles is proof of that, he has already won the hearts of many Galarians that adore him.”[break][break]

A Noctowl swoops down from the dark and the ambassador does not have the time to react. Hypnosis from the eyes of the Noctowl takes her over and her body grows heavy. She feels sleepy when she looks onto the hypnotizing stare of the owl Pokemon before her eyes drew to a close.[break][break]

In her sleep, she feels herself getting dragged by the same woman that talked with her on their trip to the alleyway.

A dismissive shrug came from the disguised male Rocket. To Rocket, the ideals of the League were laughable and those in their number would consider her own martyrdom to be a pitiful move. Evil existed in this world and while League did have its own corrupt members, she fully trusted the League and its government enough to still maintain her country being allied with them.[break][break]

Fear spikes through her when she sees the gigantic bird that the Rocket rides on Terastalize. A multicolored light covers the avian Pokemon as a boosted Burning Jealousy is shot towards her Calyrex shard. Its attention was on Charles now though the ambassador does have a rather pressing matter to deal with.[break][break]

And that matter was this Rocket shooting dark deadly projectiles at her. Killing intent is clear as they aim toward her.[break][break]

“Charles!” She calls out to her shard in fear and worry. The Calyrex’s body sprouts crystals too as it covers the hare king in a bright flashing pink. A Psychic Tera Crown sits on top of the bulbous crown that the king wears. [break][break]

In a very risky move, the Galarian princess moves to dodge the shadowy projectiles being thrown at her and holds onto the small hare. She attempts to protect him from the Burning Jealousy boosted by the Galarian Moltres’ Stellar Tera Type though the shard of Calyrex answers her compassion with a boosted Psychic to try and deflect the flames from reaching her.[break][break]

Though Psychic slices through the fires of the bird, stray flames from the other legendary Pokemon’s Burning Jealousy make their way into giving her burning pain. Elise hisses from the fire licking her skin and it’ll char her clothing too. [break][break]

“It’s alright, I can take it.” The ambassador reassures the Calyrex when he makes a worried cry. “I’m very glad that you’re safe because I care about you and I don’t want you to get hurt…”[break][break]

Her eyes close. If Remiel Calcifet was here fighting with her, the ‘exiled’ crown prince would tell her that she’s foolish to risk her own life in protecting the High King. Remiel had every right to worry about her. He’s family. [break][break]

She feels the soothing feeling coming from her shard and when Elise opens her eyes to look down at the Terastalized hare king, he uses every bit of his power to heal her with pulsating healing energy from Heal Pulse.

A familiar voice carries itself to the conversation between her and her fellow Rustboro ranger. It’s the councilwoman that the ambassador met a long while ago before the Petalburg-Sootopolis war happened. Her concerns don’t stop with the ending of that war, there would be more to come. She gives a nod to Silverio when he mentions that the areas affected by the flooding, not just Lilycove, will get those help to rebuild the cities.[break][break]

“Good evening, Councilwoman Morningstar. It is a pleasure to come by your estate and attend the banquet itself.” The Galarian ambassador greets freya morningstar with a bow of her head in respect to the older woman’s position. “And with Galar’s current alliance with Hoenn as a result of mending its relations, I will see to it that the embassy will fund into the rebuilding of the cities affected by the Sootopolis flooding. It’ll come out of my own pocket.”[break][break]

She has a lot of money to spare from earnings at work, courtesy of being the wealthy scion of the Galarian royal family and being able to work harder to earn her own keep. Elise did lament the state of the war now, Petalburg’s fall means the danger that Rustboro will face next if she’s not careful. It’s at that point that the Dive Ball wriggles a little in wanting to join the fun her female Sprigatito was getting.[break][break]

At the cue of Freya leaving to excuse herself, the ambassador releases her Calyrex shard out of his Dive Ball. “You can join too, but please behave yourself.” Elise doesn’t have to worry when Charles is actually pretty well-behaved for a hare king. “I will get you some food if you are hungry.”[break][break]

"I'm sorry, you will have to excuse that Charles wanted to join my Sprigatito in being at the banquet." She gives a little chuckle towards Silverio.

Deeper into Sea Mauville’s corridors of the ship, the sounds of little chirping can be heard from one hallway. The Calyrex shard moves first in trying to find out the source of the sound as he’ll float to the corridor himself. Eyes from the hare king look around to see a lone female Piplup while some water would cover the floor. [break][break]

“Did you find anything?” The Galarian royal asks her shard when her purple eyes settle onto the Piplup too. She’s not sure what the wild Piplup was doing here, maybe this little one had gotten lost from whatever family she came from. [break][break]

“Rown.” Charles confirms and he points at the Piplup. When Elise approaches, the female Piplup slumps to the ground and on closer inspection from the ambassador, she’s able to see that the penguin is injured with bruises over her body.[break][break]

“She’s hurt terribly.” The princess gives a worried look to the Calyrex shard and Charles knows what to do. Healing energies from the hare king give out a pulsating Heal Pulse to make the female Piplup feel better while the Galarian ambassador treats the female Piplup’s injuries with her first aid kit.[break][break]

And when the Piplup opens her eyes, she stands up slowly while Elise holds her. “Charles made sure that you were all better.” A smile came from the Galarian princess and she takes out an empty Dusk Ball from her pack to show it to the wild penguin. “I think I’d let you decide if you want to come along.”[break][break]

Gratefulness is shown on the Piplup’s face as she leans forward to tap the Dusk Ball’s button with her flipper. She lets herself be caught and she puts her trust in the Galarian princess and her shard.

More guests go over to the banquet of food on the table. Through her own obscuring fascinator hat, the Galarian lady watches those people eat. She may think of something to spite the other guests later as she turned towards her two male companions. Both of the blond men appeared to have a good time with each other, they hit it off well.[break][break]

“Your religion in Sinnoh must be an interesting one, Father.” Ivy speaks to Isaac Ward as she’ll give a little smile. She’s a little interested in what the priest had to say about his religion since other regions were different in each pantheon of gods. “Would you care to talk about it with me? I’m sure your insight would help in my studies of the occult.”[break][break]

If Sinnoh’s gods were revered greatly, the people’s respect for them would run very deep in their culture.

Hoenn’s people were not hers nor would she normally have an obligation for them. That was the League’s council and the Commissioner to have their job of protecting the Hoennian people from Rocket. The man does give a good point, she’s far from her home land…much like Remiel who should be taking the throne.[break][break]

Yet Remiel stays in Hoenn. He’s not going back to appease his mother and take his place after her.[break][break]

“Mr. Rodgers.” Her Queen’s English accent is very clear for him to hear when she gets a bit upset over how he might think she should go back home to her country. “I am the ambassador here. You may think that I should be going back to Galar, but I cannot go back. Not when I fight for the Galarian immigrants here and those that are back home.”[break][break]

if anti-League sentiments were to go by, she’s concerned for the Council’s attempts at keeping their people safe.[break][break]

“Well, I would like to believe that, given that the current alliance my country has with the League hinges on it.” Like a stubborn Mudbray, the ambassador heavily relies on being allied with the League to give hope for her people. “The League has swords, people who can fight. I’ve…known that my cousin is more suited to fighting than I would.”[break][break]

Her Calyrex shard, meanwhile, looks at the Scorbunny that got a closer look at him. The hare is curious, maybe he's never seen a Scorbunny before. The Mismagius stays by her trainer's side, watching for anyone that may interrupt that conversation.

Around the other group of tombstones is a lone shiny Joltik that made his web over the bigger headstones. Khorne sees the shiny spider to be a opponent to train with. A grin comes onto the blue Spiritomb’s face as he watches the shiny Joltik crawl onto the grass. The ghost stalks his prey like he’s hunting down the Pokemon for the ambassador to catch.[break][break]

As Elise looks over to the shiny Joltik too, her shiny Spiritomb strikes. A Shadow Ball is created from the energy that the Spiritomb emits and the male ghost launches it towards the small spider. The sphere of darkness knocks back the spider Pokemon and it makes the spider Pokemon weak enough that the Galarian ambassador simply throws a Dusk Ball from her pack to catch the shiny Joltik.
