A space time distortion in the giant chasm is new, but there would be the same tension in the air like before. Crackling lightning surrounds the bigger dome of the distortion as the ambassador ventures in. By that point, she knows the dangers of setting foot into the territory of powerful Pokemon. The Floragato stays with her, knowing that he’ll be the one to protect her since she had saved his life. Jellybean the Slowpoke goes off on his own, probably so that he’ll just find something to take back to his trainer later. [break][break]

A Rhyperior comes to attack the Galarian ambassador with Stone Edge. Elise would narrowly be able to avoid Stone Edge from hitting her when Florian shields her with a timed Leafage. He distracts the bigger rock type with Play Roughing it that cuts across the rocky hide of the rhino Pokemon before a Water Pulse helps the Floragato in making an effective hit on the rhino Pokemon.[break][break]

“You came back, Jellybean.” The ambassador gives her other Pokemon a smile though she noted that her Slowpoke was no longer a Slowpoke, but he evolved into a Slowbro. “I’d ask later, but I’d want you and Florian to help cover me while I take one of the shards.” [break][break]

While the grass cat and the Slowbro fend off the Rhyperior, she’s able to grab a red shard from the ground and make her way out of the distortion along with her Floragato and Slowbro coming after her.

Through the deeper part of the woods, the shard of Calyrex takes note of a wild Floragato coming their way. Elise notices the wild Pokemon too and moves a bit closer to find that the Floragato himself was clutching his left arm. Bruises and abrasions were all over his body as the grassy cat slumps to the ground in pain. They were both far from Pokemon Home that the cat Pokemon needed some medical attention over his injuries.[break][break]

“Stay still please.” She kneels down to take out her first aid kit from her pack and gets an ice pack to help deal with the inflamed bruises onto his left and right arms. The Floragato grits his teeth though the grass cat stays a bit still to allow the ice to help him heal. “Can you help too?” When Elise asks the Calyrex, a nod came from the crowned king as he focuses his psychic power in healing the injured Floragato too.[break][break]

Pulsating psychic energy from Charles’ Heal Pulse relaxes the Floragato and heals most of his pain, but the male grass cat was still in need for further care. “Can you stand now?” Elise says as she gets up from the ground and she’ll see the Floragato get up slowly too.[break][break]

“Did you run into a bad fight with the poachers here?” Her question is met with a nod from the Floragato and he seems to look at the Dive Ball at her belt before looking back at a joining group of various grass type Pokemon, some who were little and younger. “I can keep you safe then. I work at the Pokemon Rangers, so I can take you to Pokemon Home and we can get you treated.”[break][break]

The hare king reassures the group of Pokemon that the Floragato had been protecting that their friend will come back to see them. Elise takes out a Dusk Ball from her pack and gently taps it onto the head of the wild Floragato where the light sucks in the feline Pokemon. The Floragato himself would let himself be caught…in a way that he would trust her to keep him safe too.

She was no stranger to masquerade parties. Though it had been a longer time since she had been to one, the first time that the Galarian royal had been to a masquerade party was a few years ago at the Calcifet Palace. Back then, Elise was very meek and she had tried to keep up the social graces of her station. Even the Queen, her aunt, was always disappointed in the way that the royal couldn’t communicate with others. [break][break]

Mingling with the party, her mask was a Butterfree inspired one. Her royal dark blue gown was the same one she used for the league party sometime ago during Christmas Eve along with wearing a pair of white evening gloves. A ring of red roses surrounds the waist of her gown as she takes one of the glasses of red wine off the white clothed table with a white evening gloved hand. [break][break]

Two of her Pokemon come with her to the enclosed room that would hold the scavenger hunt. The female Marshadow tries to find what they were looking for by herself as Veyle tosses several items to the side in a messy pile. Elise has Charles come with her in finding the item they needed to win the game though the shard Calyrex with a dark green bowtie at the front of his beads did get some attention.[break][break]

“What is it?” The Galarian princess asks the shard Calyrex when he holds several items in his paws. “Did you find something, Charles?” A nod came from the High King as he gives the item over to her, the Galarian Ambassador inspects it to find out that the items that he was holding was a Lum berry, Oran berry, Sitrus berry, and a Rawst berry.[break][break]

Veyle comes running over when she sees the berries in the Calyrex’s paws and she’s a little curious to know what it’s doing there. “It looks like he found some berries.” Elise explains to the Marshadow and she lets the Calyrex hold it while she takes a sip of her red wine.[break][break]

With the job done by both the members of the Weakling and Dummy Wards, the guards and the wardens appear to be satisfied with their work. Elise got to meet with her elder cousin, Remiel Calcifet and accepts his hug. "I'm doing alright, cousin." Remiel had been stronger than she was, so she thought the Megalopolans had overpowered him somehow in spite of Remy having avatarship abilities with Zekrom.[break][break]

All of the prisoners are sent off to their cells as the day comes to a close or she wouldn’t be able to see that day turn to night outside. No windows show the light that the sun would give them if it had gone down, but she has to get her energy up for the next day.[break][break]

Elise eats the mochi on the plate, she doesn’t think that it’s poisoned, but eating food would be a good idea if she didn’t want to go to bed in being hungry. “Thank you, Noel. I was sure that I would insist on you getting the cot, but I suppose you were thinking that I should get my beauty sleep on a softer surface.” The Galarian Ambassador thanks her cellmate as he makes himself comfortable on the cold, hard floor. “Good night…” She speaks quietly to the blue-haired ranger and pushes the covers onto herself.[break][break]

And when her eyes close, the royal diplomat goes off to sleep and into her dreams. That dream that she had ended up with the ambassador in the middle of a futuristic looking city with tall skyscrapers and buildings. Megalopolans were around the streets where they’re speaking that they didn’t want to be toxic chained while Elise tries to find where her Pokemon are.[break][break]

Finding a daycare, Elise goes inside the building. The unconscious bodies of her shard Calyrex, Mismagius, Marshadow, Glastrier, Gengar, and Lurantis in odd glass displays filled with fluid. “Charles?” The first thought goes to the safety of the shard of Calyrex as she tries to get closer to his display. “Please… Wake up…!” Elise doesn’t know how sturdy the glass is, but she desired to break her Pokemon free out of the displays.[break][break]

She tried calling their names, but they wouldn’t wake up to her voice. They float there in the liquid, unmoving. The ambassador walks out of the daycare to find someone or something that could help her free her Pokemon out.[break][break]

While her elder cousin had been doing a lot of research into the Sky Pillar, it was only fair that she, as a fledgling archaeology pupil under the tutelage of the experienced Howard Slaye, would come here too. She takes the Lexicon of the Heavens with her inside her pack for some reading while her Mismagius floats beside her. Draconid language was a bit harder to learn and master without being born from the tribe, but Elise was very sure that she’ll impress Remy with her knowledge.[break][break]

Another person and their Absol is here looking at the tower’s exterior and she’ll come up to them. “Hello, were you wanting to study on the Sky Pillar as well?” The purple witch-like ghost floats up beside her charge as she watches the Absol. “I’ve been told that the outside of the tower is made up of stone and it appears to be as old as the first appearance of the Dragon Lord himself.” [break][break]

To be honest, Elise hasn’t known much on the legendary serpentine dragon other than that dragon was worshipped by the Draconids a long time ago too.

The tea shop beside the edge of a forest would give the establishment a little connection to nature. Which was why the ambassador takes a seat on the outdoor patio along with her shard of Calyrex sitting beside her and outside of his Dive Ball. Elise notes that Charles himself seems to like the lush greenery that came with the edge of the forest having several plant life and a couple of flowers dotting its grounds.[break][break]

And when a man’s voice snaps her to his attention, a nod came from the purple long haired Galarian royal. “Yes, it’s a very lovely day today.” She sees him take a seat next to her and gives her charming smile and countenance. “I do not mind. I was also hoping to take my day off here from my duties at the embassy.” [break][break]

She smiles too in a nice, pleasant way much like the man did.

In spite of boosting her speed with her move, the ambassador is still a little last. Her dragon duels with her fellow ranger’s and the sheriff’s for the other spots, but the Vaporeon from Genny comes on top. Now, the next course would be ahead of them as Elise directs her serpentine dragon in going through the tunnel that starts out wide, but gets narrower. All of the other racers who were ahead were putting on their boosting too and while Elise hasn’t had Josh’s badge yet, she’d want to show Mauville gym that she’s still their top student.[break][break]

With a boost in speed, the blue dragon attempts to make her way through the tunnel. Bavsargra’s lithe, slender body comes through the tunnel and ends up on the landing zone between the palm trees and the waters. The Dragonair quickly tries to use her reaction time to get back to the Corsola reef afterward![break][break]

Though the hare king doesn’t notice the hopping wild Cottonee, the diplomat looks over to the small Pokemon and thinks it might be wanting to join them in their flower admiring. When the Galarian royal turns around to greet the Cottonee, she notes that the grass type Pokemon is a little nervous around her and her regal rabbit. Watching the Pokemon leave, the young woman wonders if that Cottonee appeared to be nervous because it wasn’t accustomed to seeing humans around.[break][break]

Continuing to watch the small hare, she sees her Calyrex try to fix a small garden that was bent out of shape.

When she and her Mawile would go to the other part of the rocky terrain in the mountains, the Mawile sees a wild Riolu training by himself. Approaching the smaller baby Pokemon, Kaguya looks at the wild Riolu and gestures that she could train with him if he wanted. Elise is content to watch the two of them train together when the female Mawile starts with an Iron Head.[break][break]

He looks over to the female Mawile rushing towards her with a raised metallic looking head to ready a headbutt as he avoids the attack. With a raised paw, the wild Riolu hits the back of the Mawile with a Cross Chop. A growl came from the female Mawile and she pulls no punches with Play Roughing around the wild fighting type until the Riolu kneels down to the ground, tired.[break][break]

Elise takes out a Dusk Ball from her pack and throws it at the small fighting type Pokemon. She knows that her Lucario can train the little guy well too.

The Calyrex wants to go back to Petalburg Woods since he has been a bit more interested in the plants. She’d take him back to the deep part of the woodlands in order for them to study those plants and make sure they’re blooming. Elise had seen some of the work that her fellow rangers had put into caring for the plants and growing them in the places that the old ones withered last year.[break][break]

“isn’t that one pretty?” The ambassador asks the hare king when he floats over to see a purple lilac flower in the middle of a small bed of other colored lilacs. Charles tries to make a flower crown using one of the lilacs that were not rooted to the ground and when he finishes, the king tries to put it on his head.[break][break]

He doesn’t get it onto his big head, so Elise ends up helping to put the lilac flower crown on his bulbous head.

When they reach the spacious valley around a mountain after the ambassador and her Mawile get out of the forest, the Mawile looks at a Shieldon that was walking on a bit of rocky terrain. She turns her head to a couple of rocks with small gems on it since Kaguya was not interested in fighting a steel type Pokemon. As Elise comes over to see her Mawile come over to her and gesture to her in taking the nuts, the diplomat holds them while the female steel type tries to free a red gemstone.[break][break]

And she ends up falling onto her back. A huff of annoyance comes from the female Mawile as she gets up in trying to take a gemstone for herself.

When they go through the deep forested area, the female Mawile is the first to see a a wild Seedot trying to cut some weeds around a bed of peonies. Kaguya watches the small Pokemon struggle before she goes to help it. With her long mouth at the top of her head, the teeth cut through the weeds. The Seedot thanks the Mawile and takes the little nuts that it had saved up to give to the steel type as thanks.[break][break]

While the Mawile carries the nuts with her, the Galarian royal moves to the other side of the forest. Elise is happy to see that her Mawile is helping Pokemon when she can too.
