The moment she met him, Magnus's arms engulfed her in a familiar, strong warmth that made her realize that she was safe now. With her head against his chest, she could hear his heart beating, a familiar drum, and she cried.[break][break]

Not out of fear or the terror that they had just almost lost each other. For the sheer joy that he was alive.[break][break]

"I'm sorry. I didn't want to put myself in that position. But..." After he pressed a kiss to her hair, she looked up.[break][break]

"You're so important to the gang, Magnus. They can't lose you," Jasmine explained softly. It was a harsh reality that he was not going to like.

Jasmine heard no answer. She cursed under her breath, an uneasy growing in the pit of her stomach as she stumbled. She heard Wisteria growl at her, as if the dragon was warning her to take it slow.[break][break]

"We have to find them. He probably thinks we're dead. Shit. What if he didn't get out?"[break][break]

She fought the tears that were beginning to well in her eyes, instead starting a trek around the area.[break][break]

No sign of Magnus or JoJo.[break][break]

It was growing more and more feeble. Wisteria had a pitiful look on its face, as if it wanted to tell its trainer it was probably over. It was time to go. But Jasmine only grew more frantic as the time passed.[break][break]

Until a sign came, and she would praise any god above for it. "Wisteria. That way. Quickly!"[break][break]

She mounted her dragon, and they flew with an impressive speed toward the spot the AURA SPHERE came from. As they descended, she spotted them.[break][break]

They were alive.[break][break]

Jasmine didn't speak. She couldn't speak, as she almost fell off her dragon to dart toward Magnus. Any tears she had held back before were leaving dirty trails down her face from the dust and dirt of the fight, but she didn't give a fuck.[break][break]

Right now, she only wanted one thing. One person. Jack Magnus.

When the DEWGONG and Deimos had not returned to surface, she knew that there was real trouble. Of course, Jasmine had to be butt ass naked too.[break][break]

"DEWGONG! Get whatever it is!"[break][break]

It was a desperate cry, but she was trying to fumble for another Poke ball, this time pulling out her ROARING MOON.[break][break]

Her DEWGONG charged forward, determined to at least severe the TENTACRUEL'S grasp on his leg. With a HORN DRILL, it swam quickly forward in attempt to save its trainer's friend.

Jasmine laughed, taking a mint and pressing it against her tongue. "For later, huh?" she said cockily, raising her eyebrows at him.[break][break]

Even though they were so used to this game of back and forth exchanges, teasing, and edging on, she could feel her heart beating quickly in her chest. She felt as though her cheeks were burning, and she prayed to whatever entity above that she wasn't blushing.[break][break]

Needless to say, Jasmine had fun on the bumper cars. Her smaller size became advantageous, since he wasn't able to press the peddles properly.[break][break]

She felt the need to apologize to him when they got out.[break][break]

"Sorry. I went a bit overboard. Wanna go to the mirror maze?"

Jasmine and Magnus were at impasse. While he gave her orders to take over, his word was the ultimate law. But, it seemed that wasn't going to leave the cave unless she came too.[break][break]

However, there was no way of knowing what the GREAT TUSK would do if they didn't finish it off. It lived in rocky terrain. Surely a cave collapse wouldn't do anything against it besides weaken it for a moment.[break][break]

"Wisteria..." she murmured, almost sadly.[break][break]

The dragon understood. With a DRAGON RUSH, it charged toward Magnus and the LUCARIO, forcing them past the entrance of the cave. However, it didn't tackle them, leaving them unscathed.[break][break]

She turned the dragon, commanding her forward. "Again. This time, for real."[break][break]

And Wisteria attacked, this time tackling the beast to the ground with gnarling teeth. Jasmine looked toward Magnus, urging him to go while he had the chance.[break][break]

The top began to fall.[break][break]

When she opened her eyes, Wisteria's wings were above her head, and they were out of the cave. In the midst of the chaos, it seemed the dragon had found an opening and taken off into the sky.[break][break]

Jasmine slowly clambered off, her legs shaking as she ruffled her dragon's feathers.[break][break]

But then she called out. "Jack. Magnus!"

Jasmine watched helplessly as @marshall's ORBEETLE fell from the sky. She cursed under her breath, encouraging her DEWGONG to swim ahead as quickly as possible to get the child she helped as well as herself to the docks.[break][break]

She managed to climb out on time, shooing the child off, as she recalled the seal and replaced brought out her ice-types. "Attack the surge with ice! Slow it down."[break][break]

Her ALOLAN NINETALES charged an ICE BEAM, while the GLACEON conjured a BLIZZARD to freeze the ocean surface. If anything, it'd give them time to skirt from danger and get back to shore.[break][break]

"Marsh! Get out of there. Now's your chance!" Jazz called out, whistling for Wisteria to return to her.[break][break]

"Raph, are we good?"

Jasmine knew Wisteria wasn't going to last a long fight alone. Even with a move that could help it heal, the ROARING MOON had never faced an opponent as tough as the GREAT TUSK before.[break][break]

She was quick to climb a top the dragon, settling comfortably between its wings. Her Pokemon seemed to ease, taking the MEGAHORN full force. Jazz held tightly, squeezing her eyes shut as the cave shook from the ramming motion.[break][break]

Wisteria rose to its hind legs in a cry of outrage and pain, still ROOSTING and recovering. But now, it had time to build up power to attack.[break][break]

It unleashed its force, aiming for its opponent's throat with a THROAT CHOP.[break][break]

But the cave was growing too unstable. Rocks began to crack from the ceiling, raining down on the group below.[break][break]

"Magnus, you and Jo-Jo get out of here. Now!" Jazz ordered, Wisteria's wings rushing upward in a guarding motion. "Before it's too late. Go!"

It was sort of embarrassing, literally getting sick on a freaking carnival ride. The worker was nice enough to assure her that it happened more often than she thought. Jasmine still offered a profuse apology, even as she was herded away to sit.[break][break]

Her face was red from the few stares she got.[break][break]

"I feel like my breath stinks. You got gum?" she asked, desperately hoping he did.[break][break]

Though she didn't budge until she found gum. Once she did, Jasmine agreed to go along with the bumper cars. "What, you think you'll get sick on these? You wanna bet 70PD? I've already lost," she reminded, laughing sheepishly.[break][break]

She handed over a ticket, hopping into a pink car. And as soon as the ride started, she made a straight beeline for Magnus's car.

Jasmine sat silently, only getting up to grab a slice of pizza and a donut from the stash of food Leilani Ka’uhane brought in with her. Once she settled in back to her crook beside Jack Magnus, she spoke up.[break][break]

"I agree with Lani. I understand the concern, Virgil. But, she and I are queens of the club. We are the best smooth talkers in town." She took a bite of the donut before continuing.[break][break]

"For all anyone knows, Jack Magnus is just another man we entertain."[break][break]

Jasmine tilted her head to the side, raising her eyebrows.[break][break]

"Why not try both approaches? There are people who don't even know ORTHRUS yet. Marsh and Kei can cover people that may know about us, and Lani and I can handle the ones that don't know. This is a team effort. We don't need to assign it to just a few people."

Jasmine nodded at the both of them. The group of zombie-like Megaloplans were converging on them. However, with lam logan's electric-type, they had some time to get out of there to go back to the citizen.[break][break]

She went back into the sky with Wisteria, leading the way back to the non-contaminated Megaloplan. Landing, the ROARING MOON hissed, eyeing the man as Jasmine remained atop the dragon.[break][break]

"How'd you manage to survive?" she asked curiously.[break][break]

Jazz nodded, meeting sven korolev's gaze. "Don't worry about it. I take orders well. Come on. We don't have time to waste." She offered her hand to the man, pulling him up, before taking off into the air again.[break][break]

Settling on a rooftop, she allowed him to disembark. "Stay here. We'll be back to retrieve you shortly."[break][break]

Without another word, she dove back to lam logan. "Lam! You good?"

Jasmine watched, cheering Deimos on with encouragement, as he got into the water. She smiled, swimming closer as he finally settled into the water.[break][break]

She went to kiss his cheek, a congratulatory kiss, when all of the sudden, he let go. And sank.[break][break]

Jasmine froze, looking like an idiot until she realized... Deimos wasn't coming back up. "Ah, shit!"[break][break]

"What? I'm only appreciating what I got... I like a big snack, after all," Jasmine said bluntly, licking at her lips. She was insatiable as ever, approaching the edge of the pool as he climbed out to dry off.[break][break]

She settled at his side, still submerged from the waist down, as she propped herself up to peer back at him. Her fingers tapped absentmindedly at his leg, humming to herself contently.[break][break]

That was until he brought up quite the equally large elephant in the room. Jack Magnus.[break][break]

"Really? You just rattled my brains out of my head, and you wanna gossip about my relationship with another man?" Jasmine asked, though she said it as a defense mechanism. The nervous prickling in her stomach grew as she thought about the ORTHRUS gang leader.[break][break]

It was no secret how she felt toward Jack Magnus. Though, it was impossible for the two to settle down in any sort of relationship, which was the cause of their back and forth fights and make ups.[break][break]
