Jasmine was texting him, trying to figure out what to do, when she heard Keira stirring. Perhaps it was the fresh air that brought her back, or maybe the SEVIPER bite wasn't as bad as she thought.[break][break]

Regardless, she had to get her out of there while they were still under the radar.[break][break]

Jasmine was about to raise the bets higher. However, her stomach began to churn. Her smile was wiped off her face.[break][break]

Oh, shit. Was she going to lose the bet? With the last drop, she slapped her hands over her mouth. And as soon as it stopped...[break][break]

Well, the poor people had to shut down the ride for a few minutes to clean up.[break][break]

Luckily for her, Jazz didn't get anything on her. Instead, they wandered off to a table, getting some water to drink and something easy to eat to ease her stomach.[break][break]

"That sounds good, actually. I want some. Do you think we could make some when we get back to headquarters?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. "I'll help and everything. Promise I won't make a big mess."[break][break]

Typically, Jasmine would try to get Magnus to do something for her. Spoil her, if you will. But, it would be kind of fun to make a treat with him, right?[break][break]

The pair were locked into the seats. Honestly, she was a bit surprised that he fit, laughing at herself. If he asked, she didn't tell him what she giggled at, only shaking her head.[break][break]

"How much you wanna bet?"[break][break]

But before a deal could be made, as they rose higher, the ride dropped. Jasmine let out a scream of glee, lifting her hands up in the air as she laughed. She looked at him with a broad smile as the first drop finished, raising up again for the second.[break][break]

Jasmine laughed. "Isn't that just iced coffee?" she asked, not realizing that "affogato" was an actual thing. But, it did sound good.[break][break]

Really, anything cold and caffeinated sounded superb at the moment.[break][break]

For a brief moment, she watched the PALAFIN show, wondering just how long it took the trainer to train that Pokemon. She knew her own could be stubborn. Weren't PALAFIN a bit smart, though? Oh, she didn't know.[break][break]

"I feel like everything we do is a thrill ride," Jazz cooed with a wink.[break][break]

However, she grasped his hand, leading him away from the game to one of the drop tower rides. "Let's do this one. I bet you, it'll make you puke."

If Jasmine noticed him reaching out for more, yearning for more, she didn't acknowledge it. She wasn't allowed to. She couldn't want something like that. So, she kept it short and sweet, as they typically did in public scenarios... well, most of the time.[break][break]

Because going back for more would admit that there was something there, when in reality, there was nothing.[break][break]

However, after her failure to hit the button, she felt him come behind her. Jazz's heartrate increased, and she found it hard to breathe. Just knowing how close he was, as he lifted her arms to hit it again, with no avail...[break][break]

At that point, she didn't really give a damn about the prize. Magnus was warm, solid behind her. She was tempted to lean back, but the attendant was already calling over the next contestants and directing the two of them to their selection of prizes.[break][break]

"Well, at least we got something out of it," Jasmine said, browsing the items, before she reached for a stuffed HOUNDOUR. It reminded her of his own Pokemon, as she smiled at him.[break][break]

"If you got a third one, what would you name it?"

Magnus seemed excited enough about the game, especially as he started to wind himself up to strike the padded button. Jasmine watched to the side, staying a nice distance away so she wouldn't get hit but remaining close enough where she could watch him and admire the way his muscles flexed.[break][break]

"Awe, you don't think that you can get it unless I kiss you?" she teased him.[break][break]

But, of course, Jasmine was Jasmine. She obliged, grabbing his muscled bicep and standing on her tiptoes to press her lips against his in a rather chaste kiss. It was not their norm when it came to showing affection, but it was kind of cute in its own way.[break][break]

She watched as he hit the button, letting a giddy laugh and clapping her hands excitedly as he hit a high score. "I knew you could do it, Maggie," she said with a bright grin. Although she looked at the toys hanging from the hooks above...[break][break]

Jazz was determined to win one herself.[break][break]

"I'm gonna win one. I'm a strong gal," she told her partner, flexing her arm at him as she took the hammer from him with a knowing smirk. The game was reset, and when she was told to go, she swung back and then with all her might, hit the button.[break][break]

Except it certainly didn't hit as far as Magnus's. It didn't even come close.[break][break]

"That's some bullshit!"

Jasmine wasn't as affected by the plague of negative emotions that her partner felt. In fact, she thought of this as just another outing he decided to pick her for. Little did she know that behind the scenes, Jack Magnus was falling behind on his wild days of sleeping with multiple men and women.[break][break]

She'd merely assumed it was "her turn," so to say. And while she thought it was a pretty shitty way to think about it, wasn't it partially true in the tussle of emotions and flings they had?[break][break]

This wasn't supposed to be a romance. Jasmine Blair and Jack Magnus were and always would be nothing more than friends with the extra benefits that came to their silent agreement.[break][break]

Still, the feeling of joy and excitement was in the air, with the squeals of excited people and Pokemon alike. Her ponytail bobbed with each step she took and every look around the area, taking in the bright lights. It was her first time to something like this, and it was overwhelming.[break][break]

She didn't know where to start.[break][break]

However, her emerald gaze happened to land on a stand that had dangling plushies in the air, a worker calling out for players to join in the fun. "Ooh. A game? Let's do that!"

Jasmine gazed fondly at Lani as she spoke, almost appearing as if she was in a trance by the other woman as she pressed kisses across her jaw and gazed into her eyes. It was tempting. Truth be told, it sounded like the first time the person pulled her off the streets and offered her a job.[break][break]

But could OLYMPUS truly provide what she was looking for and more? What if it was a ploy?[break][break]

"I... I don't know," she answered hesitantly, her gaze drifting away for a moment shyly as the idea flooded her head.[break][break]

"It sounds too good to be true, honestly. I was pulled in by promises of grandeur and luxury, and this is the job I'm working now. Are you doing the same to me?"[break][break]

Her eyes were pleading, hoping that Lani was truly giving her an opportunity.

Jasmine's internal panic began to alarm as she found Keira down, looking at her weakly and slurring her words. "What happened?" she exclaimed.[break][break]

Though there was hardly any time for that. The basement was going to burn down, and even though her ice-types were managing some of the flames, there was no way they could hold them off indefinitely.[break][break]

"Kei- wait! No, no..." With a doe-eyed look, Jasmine examined the room before quickly making a decision.[break][break]

The items be damned, they'd go to hell in the fire. She'd rather save Keira and herself. "Hades, take Kei. We gotta get out."[break][break]

Turning back to her own Pokemon, she barked an order. "Hold the fire back as much as you can as we go up. This place is going to blow."[break][break]

Jasmine led them out, spotting a door she hoped led outside. Her lungs were burning from the smoke, coughing as her Pokemon cleared a way for them to leave. And finally...[break][break]

With the door opened, she felt like she could breath, coughing as she fell on the ground. She reached for her phone, calling for help.

Jasmine shielded her face as the two clashed, some debris flying around them as her ROARING MOON clashed with GREAT TUSK. She buried her face into his chest until the wind subsided, seeing her dragon shaking its head to shake off the disorientation from clashing.[break][break]

"How did that not work? Isn't psychic stronger against its typing?" she thought out loud.[break][break]

Her worry was momentarily caught off guard by Jack Magnus's comment, her hand slapping against his chest. "We can do that later, if we make it out alive," she said with a serious look.[break][break]

ARCEUS, she hoped that they made it out alive. Or, if anything, at least Magnus did.[break][break]

And poor Jo-Jo was flung back by the MEGAHORN, causing her to gasp. Looking over at him, she furrowed her brow.[break][break]

"What do you mean, I'm in charge? I wish you all would stop putting me in charge!" Because she remembered the time @keira made her take charge after being poisoned by a SEVIPER.[break][break]

"Wisteria, DRAGON RUSH!" she called out, dragging Magnus away from a potential attack from the GREAT TUSK.

Jasmine wasn't doing much particularly. She was just in her shared room with Leilani Ka’uhane, perhaps getting a little too dolled up for just a meeting. Whatever it was, she still had to go work OLYMPUS that night. Call it getting ready early.[break][break]

She shut the door and waltzed out, humming loudly as she grinned.[break][break]

"Ooh, am I early? Dibs," she said, coming around the couch and sliding into the open seat next to Jack Magnus. She reached over him to pet Galao, crossing her legs over his lap as she pursed her lips at him.[break][break]

The TENTACRUEL'S pulsating red flashes seemed to grow faster, attempting to swim closer to the children as they scrambled to shore. Jasmine tossed one of her Poke balls, her DEWGONG joining the fray.[break][break]

Leaping from raphael dos plumas's WAILMER to her own Pokemon, she charged forward while releasing Wisteria into the air. Her ROARING MOON cast a large shadow down on the water, waiting for its command.[break][break]

"Try to attack with a ZEN HEADBUTT. We'll try to get the kids safe."[break][break]

With a growl, Wisteria dove down into the water to attack, water dripping off its body as it rose from the attack. Jasmine traversed the waves to a child struggling in the waves, reaching out a hand.[break][break]

Turning, she noticed more red pulses. This time, further out in the water. "Guys... I think we have more company!"
