[break][break]as dominic's grin stretches out wolf-wide, marcel finds himself hard-pressed to confine his response to only a slight narrowing of his eyes. reactions would only feed him. he doesn't break eye contact as the garchomp rears his head, but finds he wouldn't have been all too surprised if the pokemon made a swipe at him for good measure. like trainer, like pokemon.

he turns away on a sharp exhale. "cut the crap, we've got a job to do." his weavile looks as tense as he feels; marcel makes some vague gesture with his hand and it relaxes significantly. clear.

"uh, no thanks," he answers politely. despite his sweet tooth, he's not a large fan of candy. besides, oscar didn't seem too keen on sharing, despite his actions.

grudgingly, he pushes himself to his feet, jostling his umbreon who'd been half-lying on his lap. "fucked sounds about right." the wailing seemed to be getting louder. marcel circles the tree while his pokemon remain in position. around the back, a glow of red catches his eye.

"here's your game." he finally says, eyes never leaving the gengar before him. a small crowd of even more ghost pokemon is starting to gather behind it--best not to let it get out of hand. "go." he orders. his umbreon lets out a cry before hurling a DARK PULSE into the shadows; the rest of his pokemon dash around the tree assist.
