He remembers their last excursion together, back when he'd been tracking down a lost hiker. Adrian can only imagine what they've been up to since then; he manages a faint smile and waves back, wondering what they've heard...[break][break]

"Hey." As he picks the rod back up, he gives it another sharp tug before a BINACLE waves back at them with a rogueish glare that Adrian rebukes with a pokeball, unleashing his Trevenant, Willow. It's a short bout that leaves Binacle hard-pressed to offer much resistance when he tosses a pokeball towards it.[break][break]

It's a refreshing change of pace, though he's forced to pull himself from any dialogue to focus on battling. As it so happens, he encounters a SWALOT barring his path. He releases Beldum to counter.[break][break]

For Adrian, it's less about training his pokemon, and more about training himself on what to expect from certain pokemon. Luckily for him, the two go hand-in-hand. After exchanging several blows, Beldum wins out, and Adrian hurtles a pokeball at the fatigued Swalot.[break][break]

"How's it going over there," he calls over to ana fell as they wrangle three separate pokemon.[break]

At first he hesitates, but it seems the other trainer (MATIAS SILPH) has run afoul of a Sandyghast. Were they some helpless kid at the beach, he might've been a little worried.[break][break]

He's careful in his choice of pokemon. A GOLBAT releases from its pokeball, and after a meticulous battle confusing and weakening the wild pokemon, Adrian is able to snatch it with a well-placed pokeball. "...A Bramblin, huh?"[break]
