"Can do!" Ruby yelled out to @remiel as she hurriedly continued to mix between cleaning up between each order, as well as participating in making them. There were only so many cooking spoons! One that touched the dough for one item, couldn't be used to make another without being cleaned first! Lunch hour was such a rush.[break][break]

Alas, her hands were tied up. Almost literally. The rubber gloves she had been using to scrub away at the pots were sticking together. Quite poor quality rubber, unfortunately. "Bluh, gross." Just taking the gloves off and tossing them into the trash, Ruby sent out Pine, her Sceptile. "Take care of it buddy, you got this. Leafage please."[break][break]

Sure enough, the Sceptile would swipe its hands through some greens, slicing them up to lovely bits before sending it out to be eaten. Another meal, another hopefully satisfied customer.

Ruby couldn't help but chuckle quietly as she spoke, quickly picking up her pace to walk alongside the young woman. She honestly wasn't much of a coffee drinker, but that wasn't too big of a problem. Regardless, Ruby's wide eyes slowly looked around at everything as they walked, finding the campus quite different compared ot most other places she had been before. "Honestly? The only place I'm really desperate to see is the library. I'll probably be doing most of my studying there if I'm honest. I uh, really enjoy the peace and quiet, you know? Being around a lot of other people all the time is already going to be a bit strange. I mean, I just moved into my first apartment, so... uh, yeah."[break][break]

Stubborn or not, Ruby had ways of skirting around that. Sure enough, she watched with wide eyes as the gentle healing mist spread across Greyson. She wasn't expecting the thanks, not knowing just how stubborn the man truly was. Regardless as he spoke and even gave her a smile, Ruby simply nodded her head with a soft teasing smile of her own. "Told you, we're an expert at this."[break][break]

Ruby would let her attention drift around the room for a moment, watching the healing dew work its magic. Of course, Grace continued with her dance as she floated in the air. It was almost like a ballerina, incredibly graceful true to her namesake as she continued to spin. Sure enough, another bout of Life Dew would form, filling the room once more. [break][break]

Reaching into her backpack, Ruby pulled out her medicine bag, opening it up. Filled with a mix of potions, antidotes, and other similar bottles paired with a few pouches of herbal medicine, Ruby clearly took her supplies quite seriously. Turning her attention back towards the Greyson, she would gently nod as she held up her bag.[break][break]

"The, uh, herbal stuff can be a bit bitter, but I find it works out just as well and is pretty good for burns. If you're still insistent about not taking a break, you can use some of my supplies then. I don't carry a ton for it not to be used, you know."

Sure, in this day and age they seemed to be everywhere, it only made sense for the average person to want to know more about them. Hell, she even owned one herself! Bea her Urshifu was always protective of her. Even then, she still didn't know too much about their origin. After all, she was here doing some research on legendary Pokemon themselves. "Oh, of course, Sir. Though admittedly, many of the books from my experience, tend to be rumors, stories, and fables as compared to like, documented accounts. But maybe there will be something you could use?" She'd stand up, taking a quick peek at the books he placed back on the shelf as she fixed the arrangement of a few of them. [break][break]

As Ruby began to walk, she'd speak quietly. "They are kind of scattered about, based on their contents. Some are located in the Social Sciences section, and they tend to read more like fairy tales, and legends as compared to outright truth." Sure enough, she would point to each general section as she walked, clearly having spent a large amount of time in the Library. [break][break]

"Others that appear more vague and cryptic are listed in the Generalities section. That's uh... over there." Sure enough, as she pointed she would also be pointing at where she had been sitting, the massive stack of books sitting by the chair. Some of which, given Ruby's psychic preference might prove interesting to the young man. "And over there, is the history section. Usually, there you can find books on legendary pokemon that have incredibly documented relations with their regions. Like, the weather trio here in Hoenn."[break][break]

She would pause for a second, only for her lips to purse together as she realized it was probably a lot more confusing to explain to someone else. "And... the religion section, for er, certain writings. I'm sorry Sir, I forgot just how spread out it all was."

More 'deaths'. Ruby had to admit, it all felt kind of realistic. Although, she supposed that was the whole point. If it didn't look real, then it wouldn't be as fun. But... It still kind of unnerved her. Were these actual prop deaths? Or was it all parts of the mind's eye? Were a multitude of psychic pokemon at work? Only time would tell. [break][break]

With the vending machine filled with a few interesting items, Ruby was quick to purchase a few. Something to drink would absolutely calm her nerves throughout all this. Purchasing a Soda Pop, as well as few Rage Candybars, Ruby would continue forwards with the rest of the group as she attempted to judge the reactions of her fellow competitors. [break][break]

FERNANDO SILPH remained as impeccably calm as ever, but even during the dangerous situations she's been in with him, he was hardly panicked. However, even Ruby couldn't help but chuckle at kyle lopez 's mock grieving. Regardless, it seemed they had another couple of challenges associated with them. [break][break]

Her Oranguru could hardly assist with the Tennis Balls in the other room, but his skill set was much more suited to the waves. Perhaps she should take him surfing sometime...[break][break]

Snapping out of her thoughts, Ruby called out to Groove. "Let's do this bud, Nasty Plot, Psychic." Sure enough, the Oranguru would allow its angry thoughts to surface for a few moments as it suddenly reached out with a powerful psychic strike, hoping to pull the level and shut it all down.

There was a bit of a strange mix, either Galarian dishes were too spicy, or there wasn't any spice at all. It was never any real consistency. Regardless, it was time to bring out the only Pokemon she had that really even knew anything about cooking. Berry, her Alcremie.[break][break]

The Alcremie was incredibly excited to take part, spinning around where she stood, climbing up into a stepping stool to properly be able to see aboard the tables. Just as Remiel Calcifet brought out the cupcakes, her Alcremie's eyes just seemed to light up.[break][break]

"Heh, I think Berry would like a shot at that, actually." Ruby handed the plate to the icing pokemon, only for it to suddenly Decorate the cupcakes with incredible speed and precision, only for them to turn out looking absolutely fabulous. [break][break]

"You know, you should be in the kitchen more often, Berry!" The Pokemon would cry out in cheer, as Ruby grabbed the plate and quickly handed it over to the Slurpuff.[break][break]

With a soft smile of her own, Ruby gently took the bag and handed it down to Darling, who held it carefully in their arms like the eager Pokemon they were. Of course, even she couldn't help but peek into the bag a bit, eyes filled with curiosity. [break][break]

Turning back to the woman shopping, Ruby spoke up again. "Thank you kindly, ma'am! I'll be honest, I'll probably be back sometime sooner, rather than later!" She would chuckle quietly, brushing the back of her neck as she continued. "Realistically speaking, I'm going to be using these all up fairly quickly. I, uh, volunteer a lot, you know?" There was a little bit more than just volunteering, but a random, albeit friendly shopkeep didn't really need to be aware she had participated in a war, fought against several legendaries and alien beasts, and who even knew all the other things she had dealt with by now. Honestly, Ruby was losing track of it all. "Just, you know, I'll probably be around! I just moved into an apartment near here, actually."

She wasn't the best chef, but really all that was needed was just to follow the recipes, right? Or at least, she hoped that is all it would take. If there was any original talent requiring to be involved, there wouldn't be much to be found. [break][break]

However, she found herself listening to Remiel Calcifet and Alexei Ivanov as they talked. Doctors? Recovering quicker? What had this man got up to this time? Her head would turn, eyes narrowing as she looked at him. Her affinity for medical knowledge certainly wouldn't be unknown to him, not after this long anyways. She wouldn't say anything, only making it obvious that she was judging him, quite harshly at that, shaking her head slowly with only the faintest smile on her face. She'd keep an eye on him for sure. Still, they were here on a job. Sending out Opal, her Aurorus joined the prehistoric Arctovish, standing nearby. "Finishing touch Opal, let's do this. Aurora Beam, shine bright." [break][break]

Sure enough, her fins would begin to glow with rainbow light as a light beam of rainbow-colored frost would lightly cover the top of the Swablu Shaved Ice. Grabbing the two dishes, Ruby quickly ran to deliver them!

Two down. So quickly. Cardamom was gone so quickly from the game. Who would start by aiming at children? Sure, someone else got caught, but what was the plan here? To act dumb at first by taking out the children? There was still way too much to presume, no time for that. [break][break]

Sticking close to Hideo Kino and Eris Halla at the elevators, Ruby let her eyes drift curiously to Bill Anderson and his rather unorthodox manner before shaking her head and ignoring it for now. "C'mon Groove, let's break open the elevators too." [break][break]

Sure enough, the Oranguru also used Future Sight. Energy building up within portals that formed behind them, only to be flung a few seconds into the future and slamming into the elevator doors. [break][break]
