The less the enemy knows, the better. Kaida supposed if so, it was a very good thing that she both didn't show up in public much, and was blantly associated with just her serpentine Pokemon. It was better if they thought poison-types were her speciality, not the many types her Pokemon truly were. [break][break]

"I brought the two I used in the Gym battle...they're good, but we can be better, you understand." She started, then started taking out other Pokeballs, "The others are ones I rely on, they've helped me out alot." They were Pokemon she could trust would fight anything and everything, the quite possibly win. [break][break]

She hesitated on one, frowning down on it, "You said we're safe here, right?" She asked before continuing, "Cause this one I want to learn a bit more about. He did something my other Pokemon haven't ever done, he changed back and forth." The concept of Mega Evolution hadn't been seen by Kaida before, nor did she have the foresight to recognize one of her own Pokemon transforming as a Mega Evolution. She supposed she should ask about Ormr's own terrifying attack, but that could come later.

Good answer, a very good answer for Kaida. "You're right. You can say the same for us!" Kaida grinned with white teeth briefly, pulling her lips down into a less excitable expression. Most Rangers, she could easily be fine with. She did recognize a growing of respect, she had to feel it growing, a sort of kinship with another fellow survivor. [break][break]

"Njor, get in there!" She barked, the Carvanha having stayed behind long enough. Their enemy was in front of them, no tricks, no doubt. It let out a low growl, spinning in place briefly before charging next to the Quagsire. Pack tactics were a Carvanha's speciality. Snarl bellowed across the water, worse as sound carried over the helpful water, and blew back the group of Huntail. They couldn't let them near, not even a little. Some of the Huntail were being incapacitated by the Yawning, some even drifting away to sleep right there and then. [break][break]

Some of the Corsala stopped and fired off Bubblebeams, unable to defeat the Huntail but making it that much more difficult for them to even get close. Jotun hovered near. Two Pokemon couldn't hold back a whole pack forever, and he was here to fight whatever was strong enough to break through.

Predacious bug-types were no stranger to Kaida. Even if her Scyther, Dain, had only recently joined the team, he integrated rather well. Perhaps being around a bunch of wild and battle-hardened Pokemon was the Scyther's one true dream...however, anyone could tell the creature was more lonely than others. Perhaps craving companionship of similar Pokemon. She is no stranger to the type of strong, insectoid companionship Dain craves. [break][break]

So when a swarm of Lurantis wander through, a captivating sight, she brings along the young bug. Success. While they aren't Scyther, she can see interest spark in the Scyther as he wanders towards one and...lets out a nasty hiss? The Lurantis rounds on Dain, separated from the swarm, its scythes gleaming solar power. One of the young it was trying to teach huddled behind the Lurantis, reluctantly participating in this challenge. It hit Kaida in a moment of savage understanding. Scyther were warriors, this act must be him trying to befriend the other bug in the only way he knew how! [break][break]

She had no time to ponder, the two Pokemon clashing in a flurry of swipes and slashes. She can only ready a Pokeball, hoping Dain would give her the opening she needed. [break][break]

Poseidon and Barnabus? Kaida took a second to learn the names in the moment, then refocused. [break][break]

The haze spreading out over the water was worrying, and she patted Ormr on the side, prompting him to prepare a Stockpile, just in case. The Corsala were moving at their usual, unworried pace. A sign of their safety? Or naivety of innocent prey? "I've...protected Corsala, but it wasn't a migration like this?" [break][break]

In the water, Jotun jerked away from something, a shape she could barely register. As an afterthought, words scrambled out of her mouth, "Ah...what do you do? I mean, are you good fighter? Didn't even ask..." In the water, a wave started up, Jotun charging forward towards whatever it was, seconds away from conflict.

Kaida feels like rocking on her heels, a rather unfamiliar emotion lurking in her stomach. She's excited, in some kind of way. So she brings some of her strongest, some of her most relied on. It prickles under her skin, an excitement that comes before battle. This was a safe trip, and one where she could try and learn, her Pokemon too. [break][break]

Her eyes rove over the bare space before settling on Alexander, Kaida straightening out before shaking her head, "It's ok. Muspel of mine can fly, and we've gotten used to moving around alot." Even if it was just for a few weeks, she had moved around in a panic after the Littleroot incident. It would be a shame to stop moving now. [break][break]

"I like safe," She moved further into the room, continuing to cast her gaze around like she wasn't entirely sure, then suddenly halted, "This place is good, better to train in than where someone could attack." Even training in a familiar forest wasn't an endeavour she deigned to take too often. One could never know if a wild Pokemon would take a chance against a weakened Pokemon.

Kaida's two aquatic Pokemon chatter in a friendly manner, despite Kaida's own rather quiet demeanor, any and every Pokemon working with them was a friend. A Vaporeon and Quagsire were Pokemon she hadn't seen very often, but she trusted their skill. [break][break]

"Hello, Evan, I'm Kaida." She offered her name back, grinning briefly before turning back to the Corsala. "They're so pretty...it's a shame they have so much trouble." As she spoke, the Corsala were finally close enough, and she waved her hand at Jotun. The giant gator was a terrifying presence in general. Regular predators wouldn't attack for no reason, so all they needed to do was watch for any outliers and brave ones. [break][break]

"What's your's names?" Kaida asked, jerking her chin at Evan's Pokemon, in terms of supporting each other, Kaida thought it would be a good idea to know the other's teams, even a little, "Mine are Ormr, Jotun, and Njor." She pointed at each in turn, each Pokemon ready for action.

Kaida didn't even need to order Dain anymore. There was no point to any Sword Dances, and he got the point of this sport perfectly. Slash and attack everything in sight. [break][break]

So when an army of fake Beedrill popped out of the floor, Kaida simply rushed through as Fury Cutter decimated their numbers. She'd have to think about how to use Dain in battle after this. [break][break]

There was no doubt that they were lucky the glitter was all dumped in one place, she couldn't imagine doing this if the beach was utterly covered in this glitter. "Hema, be careful...make the under part go up." Infestation typically created insectoid creatures to bite and nip at the enemy, but Kaida was hoping the Seviper had enough control for this particular task. [break][break]

The prospect of eating something after this was a tempting prospect, Kaida had to admit. "Can we also get a drink? I'll buy it if that's better." A bit of a glutton, she couldn't stand it if they were just snacking. A meal was needed after this job! [break][break]

However the conversation was going, Hema was concentrating. Her tail glowed a green light as she held still, then suddenly plunged it into the sand, barely missing where the glitter laid. Under the sand, Infestation activated, green particles that resembked insects suddenly pouring out and up. As an unfortunate side-effect, Kaida had to step back as the glitter spread across a wider area, but one thing became clear, the glitter was no longer under the sand. "Keep it still Hema, go ahead...um, Skyler." Kaida pointed at Skyler, her free hand hauling up the terribly unwieldy bag in case the glitter needed to be held by her.

She could hear the background noise, the woman and man (Bailey Cooper and dominic sinclair ) yapping like dogs. She supposed it was better than them tearing each other apart, Silk's blown sand must have acted like throwing water over two fighting hounds, they were still barking but not fighting...thank goodness. She didn't want to have to be the only person available that that had to throw out unruly people. [break][break]

Kaida refused to buckle on the temptation of drinks, pointingly keeping her drinks non-alcoholic. Another Pachirisu Float found its way into her hand, horribly sweet. Really, she didn't like such an alcoholic drink in the first place, and she felt she had to keep her mind logical. If only to keep the only person she knew here, illeana reyes , safe. [break][break]

Well...maybe not too logical. [break][break]

Her eyes were drawn to the movement of the jump rope on the beach, and even if it meant leaving the coolness of her seat, it was far too tempting. "Do you wanna play?" She raised her voice towards Illeana, already moving and making her own interest clear. It was a fun looking activity and, let it be known, Kaida Adachi actually knew how to have fun in a game. Corsala wasn't exactly the strongest Pokemon around, but the were ridiculously necessary for most other life, and necessitated protection. Kaida had released Jotun and Njor into the water deep, pacing on the boat as she waited for the task to be passed on to her and her partner. The migration of Corsala was an audrous affair, but she assumed this stretch would be particularly dangerous...near the Pokemon League was dangerous for trainers, much less migrating Corsala. [break][break]

"They're coming." She sounded aloud, peering at the approaching sea of pink. That was alot of Pokemon, wasn't it? On her neck, Ormr continued to watch owlishly, as if this was a normal job to do. [break][break]

"Are we going to be ok, you think?"

"Oh, so you're an ally of mine." Kaida's smile was a little underwhelming, only a curve of her lips, but she couldn't be happier to have someone around who had some experience. She found cleaning was always an irritating affair, this even more so. [break][break]

Kaida looked over at Skyler's Pokemon, including her head respectfully, "Hello, good to meet you." Her voice rose into a friendly pitch, her Pokemon crying out a greeting in return. [break][break]

Now then, that pleasantness was over. The glitter. "Hmm..." Kaida looked over the mess like it had personally insulted her, shifting to look at the pink tail of her Gorebyss in the sea. Psychic could work, but she didn't want to haul the water-type out of the water. Instead, she leaned down and patted her Seviper, "This is Hema, she can use Infestation...do you think she can make the glitter go up over the sand?"
