The golem doesn't stand a chance against the king penguin pokemon as it's smashed back and now weakened. Clearly this wasn't the way Walker and his pokemon were planning this to go. "Bellend?" Raziel repeats as he is unfamiliar with the term but either way he takes in the surrounding before he gives a simple whistle and his Bulbasaur uses SLEEP POWDER on the Golem so it couldn't do anymore. [break][break]

"Walker," he calls out and the buddies who had been carrying him turned to face the two, "Try this shit again and you won't be let off so easily," Raziel tells him with a tern look. He may have just sat back and allowed it at first but after this guy had come to save him, and the thought of having to report this back to Theo made him a nervous wreck. The trio leave after and as soon as they're out of sight the brave face Raziel had before breaks and he can't help but collapse against the ship's walls. [break][break]

"Thanks for that... but you really didn't have to," he mumbles though he is still grateful, "I'm Raziel by the way, you?"

"Quinn! Right, sorry sorry sorry," he repeats a few times as the grip on his Bulbasaur tightens as he's clearly worried about the mistake. "Its only been like... a week for me...?" or was it less than that now? He tries to think but he finds that difficult as all his mental strength is on trying to keep himself awake for this meet up. Its the first time he's seen anyone but Theo, and while he was upset at first he does try to provide his reasoning, "And all this is a bit much to take in..."[break][break]

He'd leave it there for now, as if sensing his nerves the Bulbasaur moves to his lap and mindlessly he pets them. The fog pokemon taking the spot that his Espurr used to have in calming him. It wasn't the same thing but the companionship was nice after so much had been taken from him. [break][break]

"Toxic chain huh?" he repeats curiously as he can't help but poke at the chain that was around it's black bulb. It gives a small growl but once he's back to petting his head it settles again. "It's Theo's though, he says he has a lot of them, its super cool that it seems to just give poison to things that are not," he mentions with a smile the other might able to remember that with the exception of the Espurr all of his pokemon were poison just like his mentor's and Raziel seems interested in following suit once again. [break][break]

"Uhhhh... can I ask ya one more thing? I don't think gonna be able to stay up fer too much longer," he mumbles the way his words might sound to slur probably shouldn't be

It would be easier they claim...[break][break]

And yet it doesn't feel the same as he has teamed up with the pair. Hold down the fort for rumor had it one of the league's big guns has been coming around and marking their territory. Least that's how it had been described to him before being told to work with the pair. Following Beast priam conrad's lead and it should hopefully work out fine. Yet he worries he won't be compatible with the two, bring them down as aside from his Bulbasuar and Toxtricity most of his pokemon lacked experience. How he doesn't know the style of Hoenn's Rocket and what if he is unable to adapt?[break][break]

Doubts that plague him before his attention is drawn to the current as their time had come. Unlike the others he doesn't say anything, nor does he reach for a pokeball as the toxic chain pokemon was already atop his hat and waiting for orders. A click of his tongue gives his own order to try and go for a blow as it seems that's the plan the other two wanted to try. the noibat going for a strong GUST to not only attack but hopefully knock the rider off his steed, seeing if they couldn't poison they other while they were at it due to the Noibat's intoxicating fumes.[break][break]

He may have caught a few pokemon yet he was interrupted by a ranger of all people. The battle was over but not his work was not and he was still insistent that he could do a couple of battles on his own. Body and hand be damned, he needed to show the higher ups that he was worth something. So he'll keep on fighting until his pokemon couldn't. Which giving the limited about of pokemon he owned? It probably wouldn't have been much but he was willing to try. With the wild pokemon intoxicated Raziel does try to capture it with one of the pokeballs rocket had given by with a side throw, however with his new found lack of depth perception it does miss and he could already hear his Bulbasuar judging him. "Hush you," he grumbles before a voice is heard. [break][break]

"Yo, vibe check!"

The masked man looks back and honestly he is confused as multiple questions had arised. First and foremost, the hell was a vibe check? Six years was way too long to understand current day lingo, and he was behind enough as it was. "'Fraid they're isn't any music to vibe too," he replies back with a chuckle as he attempts to make a hoke of it, play nice for a bit as he didn't want to fight a kid if he didn't have to. Though it feels like they might not have much choice as he comes up to them with a pokeball in hand. Already his bulbsuar was prepared to start a battle as it's TOXIC SURGE was activated on the threat of the league child coming forward, a TOXIC TERRAIN flowing onto the field around them. [break][break]

"Hey now no need for that," yet, Raziel would put his hands up in an almost surrender moment for now playing along. "Its just some kid," he continues. Sure he wasn't unfamiliar with fighting with kids near his age before, Raziel would still try to avoid it if he could, clearly not aware of the young teen's position within the league. [break][break]

"Just here trying ta catch some pokemon," he offers for now though his bulbasuar continued to growl at the intruder, "How about you head out though? Not to safe to be around certain poison pokemon without a good mask," he offers as he taps his own plague mask for emphasis. [break][break]

This would be this kid's only warning.

"Right!" both rangers agree to follow Roy's lead and follow deeper into the forest until they encounter the trainer on the Rapidash. Steve looks excited about having found them, but Miyoko not so much. "Hey there civilian you alright?" Steve runs up to ask at least knowing his training about having to deal with people even if pokemon were what he should be better with. [break][break]

Said trainer seems to wake up and looks tiredly at the trainee rangers and looks confused about their approaching them. "Can I help y'all?" he questions with an accent as he slows his pokemon down to a stop. [break][break]

"Yeah we're here to rescue you from being lost!" [break][break]

"..." he looks back and forth, "... son do I look lost to y'all? Did I look injured or distressed? Did my pokemon?" he questions and it all three took a good look he did have a blue armband so its clear they were planted here as part of their test and giving them a few hints as to why he wasn't the one they were looking for. "Though I think I saw some pawniard on the hunt upstream," he offers before nodding to the trainees and heading out. [break][break]

Seems like the newbies didn't know that Captain Kingsman had a plethora of Pawniard and bisharp for his Ranger events.

There is no hit or pain the follows his screw up and Raziel just tries to recover from the flinch as he just strokes his right hand through his hair, grazing the scar where hair should be. A reminder of what happens when he doesn't properly obey. [Break][break]

And while the Underboss had once meant so much more to him than just another of his father's lackies. It didn't change what he was now, nor the fear that has been drilled into Raziel's head. "Sorry," he still finds himself apologizing for his reaction, because despite the change he felt Cillian deserved the benefit of the doubt to be the same as those in charge like Kanto. [Break][break]

"I don't usually handle anything sir, I just follow orders" he tries to remind but as the explosion goes off Raziel looks back in panic. Seeing the pokemon trying to destroy everything. And while in his head plans are thought up he gives one more look to Cillian hoping for something but nothing comes other than a pointed look. [Break][break]

Self-preservation kicks in there and maybe back then he would've ran off, right now he doesn't want to look like a coward to the Underboss so he calls for another pokemon he's been lent, a troxicity to help fight against the thing.

A smile breaks out on Raziel's features as the other introduces himself, "Nice to meet you Adrian, I'm Raziel Pry... Beck....." he pauses at both names. Pryde was because he was used to it, and Beckett was at a suggest of Theo that he had been excited about when offered. Yet he doesn't really feel worthy of it, and he had a feeling it was meant to be mostly if he were in trouble and he could just use the name to get others to back off him. "uhhh just Raziel for now is fine," he offers as his faced looked more unsure now than before. Something the other may notice was that before Razz face was basically a stone and unmoving. Raziel was far different practically wearing his emotions all on his sleeve. [break][break]

"Wait really?" he questions excitedly as he hasn't had the chance to see any of this stuff up close. His expression almost like that of a child getting a new toy, "Uhhh yeah that sounds really cool!" he exclaims before getting back up. His movements were slow. showing that he was still very much recovering from the damage he had taken. [break][break]

"Oh so I was reading about Mega Evolutions and how..." Razz would go on to talk about the very textbook definition of it all. Going a little into the history and the theories of where it originated from, the technicalities of how it worked according to the book he was reading. Yet it was clear he had no actual understanding of it as they would make their way to the training room floor. Talking like a scientist rather than like a trainer.

He is surprised as Eris tries to get up, but the pain she is in doesn't go unnoticed. It's only now that he looks around and realizes that Reiner wasn't there. Salem knows of the wars, though he doesn't know the full details. He's been trapped in his pokeball too long, having to deal with the rest of his trainer's pokemon. He had been so worried about trying to get ideas about finding his trainer that he was over looking Eris' emotions. Just as how he was looking over some of the emotions of the pokemon back home and thinks maybe he needs to slow down.[break][break]

If only a little. [break][break]

Salem would use his psychic to push her back down before he would climb up on her. Be that cat pokemon that chooses you as a seat and make you feel obliged that you have to stay there to not disturb the kitteh. Head down against her as he would breath slowly, even purr some. A tactic he would often use in order to force Razz to slow down and calm himself. And he would do so with Eris to, and if she tried to protest he would just hug harder and meow in a 'shush' kind of way. [break][break]

They needed to slow down.

The captain simply shrugs, not because he doesn't care but he just understands that people were people. "It is, but that's why Hoenn has us, we protect the pokemon when we can," he comments as his final words before the crowd came in. More than a couple of times Razz had been called over to help be the final authority when his Rangers were denying some trainers and their request for whatever reason or another. Easily backing up his people and their decisions in the end. While busy with others two kids would come up to AIRI WATANABE. [break][break]

Both kids then look to each other not seeming happy with the other as it seems each kid wanted to take the fairy pokemon home. Seems like Razz would not be the only one to have to deal with possible troublesome trainers. Hopefully she could deal easier than most.

Another day had come and gone and honestly he is hoping it's less eventful than the last few. While he has been excited to actually make some newish friends in Rowan Wrynn and Adrian Malcolm, having a hands on lesson in fighting this soon during recovery was not something he was up for. Hopefully the break room could actually provide him with that, a break as he ate his meal. [Break][break]

Thankfully most now seemed to ignore him as he passed by looking for a seat, but the scene before him was one that he was very familiar with and it causes him pause. Papers scattered, lots of coffee and unmistakable doctor scribbles that they claimed to high heaven were legible. And while he was mostly blind to other's emotions he knows a stressed assistant when he see it.[break][break]

"Need help there?" he offers as he puts the salad he ordered from their cafeteria down and feeds his Bulbasaur one of the tomatoes from it. "I was a lab assistant for years and all of their writing looked pretty similar so I've become pretty fluent in it." he says with a small chuckle curious if the other would actually let him out.

A picture of what? Some pokeballs? Because that's all we've managed to gather so far. Inside them are an armarouge, obstagoon, Chesnaught, Meowstic, uhhhh Mar... shadow?
