"You've been warned, everyone get somewhere safe!" the Head Ranger orders and Yellow takes up point commanding several Pawniard to help make the crowd get back as the battle starts. Both Pitch and Salem ready for battle. While Razz and Salem focus on the pokemon ahead of them Pitch follows where the other pokeball lands. The style of whistling was definitely familiar but it wasn't going to deter him from this battle. He does two sharp whistles of his own and Pitch knows what he needs to do. [break][break]

Arms up to defend his trainer and Salem Pitch unleashes HYDRO CANNON to counter the FLASH CANNON coming their way. It may lead him open for a moment but the Bisharp was confident in it's defense that it could handle an attack while it recovered. Its PRESSURE making it so it couldn't do the same attack twice. [break][break]

Mean while Razz and Salem went on the offensive while the Urshifu. While it made a move to boost it's attack Ranger and pokemon go on the attack together as a fireball is formed in his hands before Razz launches it to hit the other with an explosion. [break][break]

razz can conjure BALLS OF FLAME within his hands to hurl at high-speeds to detonate.
these explosions will BURN targets caught in the detonation and scorch the land they hit

The Ranger intending to cause burn to the fighting pokemon to help Salem, while the pokerus infected feline uses PSYCHIC to blast the fighting type back as he takes the stage.

While he knows today is the day Razz does spend some time over at the Ranger base in Slateport, organizing files and reading up and each and every Ranger to try and get to know each and every one of them. Well at least on paper he knows them, but if he is anything to go by everything that's on these papers could be a lie. Which was why he was planning his interviews before he would host his meeting with the whole Ranger base. It was just a good base point to start with until his private phone finally beeped. [break][break]

Salem checks it before letting the new Head Ranger know just who it was. Welp time to get this done. [break][break]

Rather than his old blue Jacket Razz takes out the standard Yellow Jacket meant to be used by Captains as he hasn't been given anything new for his promotion outside the new arm band. Accompanying him were two of his Bisharp that were ordered to help with crowd control as he is sure people would panic as its not like anyone else but them know that this was staged. Once he spots his target Razz blows a whistle to get his attention. [break][break]

"Rowan Wrynn!" he calls out, voice commanding as he tries to emulate the new authority he now has as, "You are under arrest for your involvement with Team Rocket, I suggest you come quietly as I rather not do this the hard way," something he knew would be impossible as Rowan had a performance to keep up on his own but at least witnesses would see he was giving the other a chance.

With the Iron Head hitting it's mark and making the salt Rock pokmon successfully flinch Pitch decides to take advantage of the situation with his most unique attack as it brings up an arm while the other is struggling to get their feet under them. Water forming before launching itself like a cannon as they use HYDRO CANNON to try and do as much damage as it could before it could move again. [break][break]

Sure he is too tired to move after, but they hope it will leave the other in a much weaker condition.

Razz tilts his head at the other as he thinks about the other's plan. Curious on just how impromptu the plan really was or if coming forward might have been something on the back of the other's mind for awhile. Razz allows him the time to finish as he keeps thinking about it. Admittedly he doesn't PENELOPE LIVY too much, and he does worry about some leaguers as some of them have the mindset of 'kill on sight.' [break][break]

He gives a humming thought in some worry as he currently doesn't know just how much pull he has with the league. Though he supposes he'll just have to trust his deal with dahlia goode seeing how he has offered his Terrain of Truth up for situations just like this. "Alright I'm down with that, and I'll see if I can't help with that meet up with the Counselman at all," he offers with a small nod, "we can do this now if you want, unless you rather get some things in order and make the arresting a much more public display to make it that much harder for Rocket to doubt it was planned?"

"Admittedly I can't relate, I wanted out of my family's name because I didn't want to be traced back and wanted no association with them anymore as I found it easier to be my own man without having my father's shadow looming over," Razz tells his own experience about his wanting to separate himself from his old name. Though he does cross his arms as its clear he is trying to think as a way to try and compromise with the other as he was not the 'do it my way or the highway' type. [break][break]

"The truth can be powerful, or so I'm annoyingly told," he says with some attempt at humor as he is sure the other has some information about who his patron was. "Well you threw my simplest idea out the window, another possibility could be the Rangers though," though there is some skepticism there, "There have been a few Ex-Rockets there, some as a choice and the one that comes to mind was one who was on probation and was using their work in the Rangers as 'community service' of sorts," it wasn't his best idea but it was currently his only one. "But that could only happen if you turn yourself in and if the right people are spoken to," though at the moment he isn't completely sure who those right people were. But if he could get another out of Rocket he would find out.

"I doubt your race courses usually have the dead," Razz counters back at the racer as she claims to have encountered more dangerous courses before. Something he highly doubted, especially as they were currently trying to escape a hoard of warrior ghost. Warriors he could only hope didn't come from Kanto. [break][break]

A thought he tried to push back as right now survival as they traveled through the cave. Pausing once or twice as Salem tried to make sure it was the proper way to go. "I think it would be safer if we avoid the ghost coming after us, I'm sure the dead are just angry at the living just casually trespassing," he voices his opinion as vanessa rosiello talks about possibly fighting them. Finally light could be seen at the end of the tunnel though before going out Razz holds out a hand for the civilians to pause and wait there. The Ranger wanting to be sure that things were safe first as he and his Meowstic go out first. [break][break]

Though it would seem that the souls of old warriors weren't their only problem. As a larger than life palm tries to crash down on Razz, Salem's eyes glowing as it uses SPIKY SHIELD to stop the hand of the giant Golurk as it seemed to try and grab them. "Move quickly!" he yells as an order to get the others out of the cave while Salem tried to keep up it's SPIKE SHIELD. Razz prefering they be outside than be stuck between a rock and ghouls.[break]
