With Victoria on top of him in the final moments of their fight the room was a bit more visible to him. Though most of it was going ignored anyway as he was trying to pick up on a pattern in her punches. The preteen waiting for an opening between her punches for him to counter back. He sees one, and he's ready to take advantage but within his peripheral vision comes Theo and he instantly freezes up. Allowing a clear opening for Tori's final strike and his head feels like it's spinning. He's is unable to move for a bit due to the blow, even as Victoria gets off him. [break][break]

He's honestly in too much pain and doesn't want to move anymore. Raziel has folded to others for far less in previous classes, it was adrenalin and anger that was getting him through this fight. And now with Theo's arrival and the fight being over he just wanted to leave, but another thing catches his eye. The fearful look she gets when her father had arrived, one he felt he knew all too well. Weakly he turns himself over and slowly gets back up on his own two feet, nursing his arm as he tried to stand at attention with pain huffs. [break][break]

Everyone else might have stayed silent but Raziel seems to be the only one willing to speak. "So-sorry sir, I.. we... I didn't intend for this... to get so far," he apologizes between breaths, seeming to try and take blame for this even after being thrown to the wolf. Yet if there was one thing he knew it was the pain of an angry father. And while he doesn't care for the girl he doesn't want to see her take the same punishments as him or his brother would go through if they were to try such a trick. Or perhaps he just didn't want to see his mentor in the same light as him. [break][break]

Though seeing how little he lied, Theo might easily be able to pick up on his pitiful attempt at deception.

"Sorry to hear that, but at least you got a replacement for it," he comments still clinging onto the little bit of good news to counter everything else. Not only that but his dad's old conditioning of the way pokemon should be referred to and treated still holding strong on him despite everything. 'There were always a replacement for tools,' something that both this Zubat and his Bulbasaur had been proving to keep true. Yet with the gentle pets he gives the small Zubat, once they allow it, it was clear he didn't always follow it strictly. [break][break]

"If nothing else it should be stronger, I noticed that this bulbasaur is stronger than the old one I had, and I'm pretty sure it's boost with the chain is a part to do with it," he comments as he looks underneath the table to check up on said bulbasaur who seems to have fallen asleep next to his legs. He doesn't know too much detail with the 'chain bullshit' was but he was interested by their result. [break][break]

Though his excitement slightly faulters as they get back to the topic of his bullies. "But that's their problem with me Cillian," he protest, "They don't like that Theo favors me, that I had to hide behind him or my brother to avoid them and I adding you to it won't make it better." As it was since he's told Theo he hasn't even seen them since so it was probably a moot point by now, though it didn't make him worry any less. His eyes look down in some shame as the underboss seemed to be bothered by taking up his time. [break][break]

"Right... Sorry for taking your time," he apologizes and clearly looks hurt about it. "We can end our lunch then if you have things to do," he adds because he doesn't want to take more time the other apparently doesn't have. This whole thing wasn't really planned on anyway, just a way to make up for lost time when his father forced a wedge.

At the comment his chest ache a bit, but rather than the pain his parent's ridicule would cause there is joy there. Genuine joy and not his just putting on a smile to fake it as he mostly did in his attempts to keep positive. "Y-yeah o-okay yes sir, I'll try my best!" he exclaims before the scenery around them starts to change again. He tries to ready himself for whatever else would come, wondering if this would be another battle or would this be like with with reliving a memory. [break][break]

Two dragons appear before them at a small distance with two robed men but unlike with everything else in Rocket over the past couple weeks for once something sparks in his head as his eyes focus on the white dragon. He holds his head in his hands as he feels a small ache, pictures feeling as if they're resurfacing but there is no context just vague memories that he doesn't recall having. Yet a name comes to mind once it all passes. [break][break]

"I think... I think I've seen that dragon before," he can't help but comment or was this another trick of the system. If the system could dig into Cillian's old memories and recreate his father's lab was it possible for it to insert fake memories? Either way the young man looks to Theo for guidance and see what the Underboss wanted to do. Or if he could explain how he possibly knew of this... creature.

The scared man couldn't help but look with complete bewilderment. "Do you... Do you not know your higher ups?" he can't help but question completely thrown off by her statement. So much so that he doesn't notice the Espeon seeming to try to come on them as if they were prey. Luckily his pokemon were far more attentive as his litten attacks and chomps down with a fire fang. The noise being the only thing that calls his attention to the battle again as he whistles an order and has the eeveelution finished off with a toxic swing before he attempts to capture it with a pokeball. [Break][break]

By the time his attention was back on her he was just observing as she and her mimikyu handled the sword pokemon. She could use some refining in his opinion but she didn't seem as bad as she made herself out to be. Petalburg..." he repeats as he tries to recall what he was told happened there. "I heard that there was taken care of more like the old Kanto way of things," he comments and wondered what was the difference between them and now considering the power scaling had changed so much. While the anger wasn't effecting him much the ice and cold were making him shiver. Though as long as this threat was here he was going to try and keep strong as the Bulbasaur knew it was the only thing between his new trainer and the admin and their partner. The grass pokemon only letting up when Jayden seems to go back to his senses, and the cat leaves to feed its curiosity. [Break][break]

"... Yes. I'm fine. Why would you say that?"

Red eyes narrow at the other at this question, "What do you mean 'why'? Your cat came out, made the room cold and you created some sort of.. of.. of ice knife" he answers back not understanding why it was done. Though with the hate that he felt and with the tone shift he couldn't help but wonder if Jayden would've actually used that on him. [Break][break]

"So then if it 'doesn't make you' does that mean all that anger I was feeling from you then?" he can't help but question not understanding the way connections worked between avatar and patron. "Are you mad at me for something?"

"Yeah timid, the guy kinda just walks around the lab with his head down and stuff," though in Gavin's defense Raziel hadn't been in the labs too long so these were all just simple first impressions. It would be later on when he finally gets the reason why the man is how he is. [Break][break]

He gives a small chuckle when he hears about Theo, if Jayden says he's good then surely it'll be alright. "Well he can't be any worse than my mom," he comments as at least for him it always felt that she would ridicule him for his efforts. Maybe with someone else teaching him he could actually improve.[break][break]

"Cool to know another kid, but I doubt dad would let me interact with her, you know how he is" he says giving a shrug. Though it's also not until much later where he'd learn that his experience with would be much different than his or his brother's. [Break][break]

"yeah well having an actual older brother sounds fun too," he'll lean into the other as if telling a secret, "Don't let Asriel fool you, just cause he has 10 minutes on me does not make him older," he whispers in a playful defiance. Giving a nod about the other having his back. [Break][break]

Maybe things in Rocket wouldn't be so bad so long as he could keep his brother's and 's support.

After his adventures here with Cillian and the other grunt now done, Raziel was determined to figure out just what it was that was drawing out the toxic pokemon. Finding two in one place felt like more than a coincidence and maybe he was getting greedy but he was curious to find more. Or if nothing else maybe find one of the possible sources and see just what was causing the phenomenon. He's gotten a little more information from the other grunt who had agreed to help but there was nothing wrong with gathering more info. [break][break]

His father always mentioned of knowledge being power, and right now his mentor wanted him to get stronger. So he was doing it in the only way he knew how. And hopefully he would have a team in where Theo couldn't possibly call weak. Well that is if he could control them, he thinks to himself as he watches the Kubfu the underboss gave him strike another pokemon down in triumph. Once again the cub choosing to ignore his orders as they waited for the other Rocket who answered his called to join him.

After his adventures here with Cillian, Raziel decided to spend more time on the mountain. There was too much he wasn't aware of when it came to these pokemon, and if he wanted to use them as well as his mentor he needed to play catch up. He's already encountered one pokemon that they had corrupted with their chains and even found a little statue of one of the so called 'loyal three.' What he couldn't find out was if it were something the pokemon made or was it man made because other people were also fans? Or possibly more victims of stockholm if the little information he had was true. [break][break]

Either way he had put out a message to Rocket to see if anyone was interested in joining him in his search, preferably one with knowledge of them. He's gotten a few answers back and so now it was playing the waiting game as he fetch catch with his toxic chained litten. It was time to see who would come first, another toxic chained pokemon or his fellow Rocket

Another day and more rumors about others seeing pokemon with a toxic chain. While most of his reports had some come from Mt. Prye the young man decided to try else where he has been hearing the rumors. See what he could find, this time around calling someone he knew rather than leaving the invitation open to those he didn't know. Especially given he was using his Zorua for a disguise again, this time to actually hide himself rather than using it to show off to . [break][break]

While looking around the shops and asking about some of the rumors the blond man ends up pinpointing his friend. A smile spreading on his cheeks as he runs toward . "Hey!" he greets with small shout as he stops short of the other. "Thanks for coming Adrian, do you like the new look?" he questions curious if the other could pinpoint who he was by voice alone. He knows Cillian got it, but it probably helps that his looks were very close to Theo's. That and Raziel had been the one to call the other Rockets there. [break][break]

"So have you heard of any of the Toxic Chain pokemon?" he questions figuring he should see what the others know before they went searching.

Stargazing isn't anything too new for him. With his room in the attic back in Kanto there was an sky view for him to look out of when he struggled with his sleep. And he was doing the same now a top the roof of 's home in Slateport, or his home too? It was weird to call it that but he was enjoying his time in his mentor's home. And while he definitely can't deny the improvement of his day to day life nights were still a struggle for him as he tried to get over events of the past.[break][break]

Its what brought him out here, trying to settle his mind and see just how much of the sky was similar to Kanto's. Many of which seemed new to him, though he couldn't pinpoint if it was a memory issue problem or if the sky was that different. "You guys recognized any of these?" he questions his pokemon with some amusement as if they could talk back. Both his Zorua and Bulbasuar giving him a look which makes him chuckle.[break][break]

He takes another look up and one of them definitely looks like the dog he fought when he worked with the others to try to trap the elite 4, @navy. Makes him wonder if all of the stars up here are ones of legends or something else. He looks over toward a stargazing book to try and match things up, seeing the possible 'bunny' and wondering if the thing under it was one of those 'Ultra Beast' he has heard so much about.

Raziel gives a small 'ha' at his so called 'capability' though his Kubfu gives a more of a laugh as it seems the cub kinds it more of a joke than he does. He chooses to ignore it though as he shakes his head in denial,"A beast and Underboss? Haha no no no I-I can't even defend myself against some senior grunts I'm definitely not on that kind of level," he is quick to deny the husband, "Nice to finally meet you by the way, Underboss Quinn always seems to perk up when talking about you," he offers, using the formal title because of course he does as they're on a mission, before Cillian unleashes his weezing to explode along with theirs. [break][break]

Though as Cillian notes that he's only there because he follows orders he can't help but feel a little dejected. "Oh.... I uhhh I see..." he comments as he puts his mask on and enters. For a moment he thought he was brought in at the possibility of being useful, that hey maybe his poison knowledge would be helpful, or even a chance to finally meet the other's husband he has talked so much about. But no.. its cause he follows orders, because what else could he do?[break][break]

After entering he takes in the scene and from his bag he grabs a bomb they had brought along with them. "where would you like this then?" he ask unlike the last time he makes sure to ask about the bombing before he brought out his pokemon for it. Raziel looking to the Quinns for proper instructions this time around.

These 'Wilds' were not something he was familiar with, but it was something he had been training for. As Theo told him they were going to be hunting for something in one of these worlds. Though there were still a few steps he needed to take such as the Kubfu next to him. [Break][break]

For now though it was seeming like they had to bust their way in proper as the living surface seemed to try and lock them out. Thankfully he had access to his mentor's spare pokemon as he called out a Minor and had it use SELF-DESTRUCT on the ice walls blocking their way to help reveal the poisoned ooze behind it. [Break][break]

"Is this why you asked for me?" Raziel looks back to with curiosity as he would reach into the bag he was bringing with him and taking out a couple of mask, to help filter the poison, and handing one to each Quinn.

The scowl is missed but the anger in the other's voice is not. He's already experienced enough of that with and his family so picking it up with Cillian now was little issue. "Why is that? Are they that dangerous?" Raziel can't help but question. He hasn't heard too much about them aside that they were the original trio with the chains that had come to be infecting pokemon across the region. Nothing else such as the kidnapping or imprisonment, hell even as Razz he wasn't one of the many abducted and had to focus on the aftermath of those missing. [break][break]

Though the Luxray seems to catch something within it's senses and he makes sure to give chase. Though as they seem to get deeper into the mountain it seems like there is only ghost roaming around. Stopping only once they get to a grave where it seems for a moment the scent of the Luxray's pray was gone. The young grunt tries to look around as his bulbasaur also tries to pick up on the scent of whatever it was hiding. "Oh hey look at this!" Raziel calls out as he seems to pick up a small stone statue of some dog like pokemon. [break][break]

A mistake he'd come to realize as the moment he picked it up Toxic Chains spew up from the ground and lash out at the group with a TOXIC SWING.
