There feels like there is little warning as suddenly lightning comes down toward the cavern from above. Razz figuring that someone from above used thunder though it wasn't like he could see. Seemed careless but in the end the help was definitely needed with the numbers though with combined efforts it seemed like they were growing fewer and fewer. [break][break]

The younger man just tilts his head at the other, maybe his age seeming more apparent as he didn't seem to understand the full grip of what the other was saying. The mention of the moral compass did bring a hint of a smile onto the young man's face he just gives a shrug on the matter. Taking the fact there was a positive twist in other's thoughts about Rangers even if they were afraid. "Fair enough, but just trying to ensure that they're not the ones you should worry about," he offers least in his opinion now that ollie morales was in charge so even he felt more comfortable on the matter. Though the other's sudden change in expression confuses him once more as it seems like he might have accidently hit a nerve on the whole 'age thing.' "Ehhh that's debatable.... I don't think some of them like the idea of going home with some bruises, but pain at times can build experience," he admits as he's sure he isn't the most popular captain to have ever come to Slateport. Though he hopes his organization has at least been helpful when it came to the largest Ranger base within the region. [break][break]

Though it seems despite her insecurities she still seems like a decent trainer as her Sylveon seems to be doing quite a good job in fighting back against his Riolu. Sure she had the type advantage, but it was no reason to discredit her ability. It was clearl Ra was getting tired, but he was having fun so even after being hit by the Dazzling Gleem kept on his feet. Huffing and puffing before he would try to go in once more for an ICE PUNCH.

At the poking attempts Salem would fall to the floor and slightly on top the 'Ralts' in a small attempt to pin them. If they were to suceed they would attempt to roll over and try to tickle the other psychic pokemon. Telling them to 'cry uncle!' Razz just blinks over at the two deciding it would be best to ignore the two of them, as they were having fun for now. [break][break]

Razz gives a small chuckle at her tale, "See pretty satisfying to kick their butts right?" he jokes hoping to bring up the other's spirits while Ra takes the punch, intending to COUNTER after.

"Yeah I mean its not that young to be doing things," he shrugged seemingly confused about the other's reaction about his age. "You don't seem that old you're like what.... uhhhh 30?" Again he just blinks at the other as he seems to get something off his chest about being worried over the fact that he was a Ranger. Razz just raising a brow at him, even if it were under his bandana. [break][break]

"You know that Rangers only have authority over pokemon matters right?" Razz feels that this might clear the air some as this isn't the first time this argument has been brought to him. Razz just blinks at the other almost seeming surprised by the request. Never before had he'd been asked to be caught by a person before. His pokemon sure, but people? Could he even teach that? While Dynamax wasn't new to him he wasn't used to seeing it in just a casual battle. "Get out of the way!" Razz just warns as Riolu attempts to avoid though the impact does blast him back a bit. Ra rolling to recover as he tries to put all of his strength into one more attack, the information on the Vital Device clear that Tofu didn't have much left in him.

"good work Salem now stand back!" Razz ordered as he grabbed another pokemon from his belt. As strong as Salem was with whatever infection that granted him his unusual abilities Razz still saw him more for support. So he knew that he needed someone with a little more fire power so once the cat is back on his shoulder he calls for his Greninja. Right out of the ball MEGA EVOLVING him so that he would have more power. [break][break]

the frog quickly going in with a FEINT ATTACK to strike one of the Iron Bolders before throwing multiple WATER SHURIKENS at the boulders and knocking several out. All around Razz could see others using tactics like ROCK SLIDE and more to try and block the passage ways. Razz continuing to just attack those that got through in the mean time.

Oh guess he's never really explained the reason why he does his commands the way he does to the older Ranger before. Razz just gives a shrug, "Its how I was taught by my mom and then some friend of my parents," he gives a simple explanation and now it was just hard to break habit as much as he rather not stick to old ways. As Tofu attacks Razz whistles and Ra is quick to follow the order COPYCATTING the DISARMING VOICE as if the clashing voices would cancel, though for the pup it just felt louder.

Air clashes with each other seeming to create its own little tornado between the two pokemon. The look on his face pretty clear that he wasn't sure how to adapt to someone who used his own attacks against him. Razz thinks to himself in private though tilts his head at the misinformation the other had. He just shakes his head, "I'm no longer Head Ranger, stepped down as trying to take that responsibility at 22 was... a bit much," was all the information he would give the other leaving out that he was still Slateport's Ranger Captain as that wasn't important. When the other pokemon was out Ra was excited to get started, even going before his trainer gave a whistle with a QUICK ATTACK.

Razz gives a curse as Tango falls, hating that he couldn't help his pokekmon more. Though his time to dwell on it isn't long lasted as the Iron Bolder that knocked out his Armarouge was now coming at him. Instinctively Razz flexes his hand expecting the heat he once felt yet frozen when it wasn't there. The harsh reminder of what his negligence has taken, and while he knows eventually he would adapt to the loss just as he adapted to the power, it would take time to unlearn what had become instinctive. [break][break]

That's when Salem jumps in to defend his trainer colliding with the paradox pokemon and being knocked back with ease due to their sheer size difference. Its thanks to the DIGUISE that Salem is able to recover with ease, eyes glowing as the cat summoned up a tornado to attack the beast around them with SPRINGTIDE STORM to do his part against the army incoming.

Having been shocked by several of the Iron Crowns Tango could feel he was running on fumes with the numbers that were trying to get through even as other trainers tried to do the same. [Break][break]

"Just one more push!" Razz told his partner wishing he could bring out more than one in this situation but with the chaos around focus was limited. [Break][break]

Tango did as told though armor coming into a proper cannon as he aimed an ARMOR CANNON at some Iron Crowns, the fire putting them down. Tango breathing heavy from exhaustion until an Iron Boulder came in to tackle and knock him out forcing Razz to recall him.

The name itself isn't familiar in the slightest yet when he comes face to face with the man once more, it was hard to forget such a hat as not many people wore such things.
