"Interesting," Razz mutters to himself as Ra's fist feels as if it goes straight through the Froakie. The ghost typing making most of what Ra knew completely ineffective which would mean they would have to try other means. Question was would Ra be able to adapt in time giving his inexperience. While the COUNTER did what it was meant to it was still a rough. Ra is quick to bring his guard back up, a bit worried on how fast the Scyther was in comparison to him. When she dashes forward Riolu is unsure of where she would go, unable to read aura and movement just yet but thankfully his trainer came into things. [break][break]

Rather than thinking he listens for Razz's whistle on what to do, as he would use the QUICK ATTACK to try and avoid her first hit. Blades nipping his arms before the pup rolled and faced the bug before he would throw a VACUUM WAVE to try and strike. The air from the vacuum to hopefully put some distance once more.

"OOH right that," he did have youngest Head Ranger for a while didn't he? Not like it was something he felt comfortable with, he definitely was way too young for such responsibility, probably for the best he stepped down from that. [break][break]

Though as the battle Ra is almost caught off guard by the strong water move coming from the unevolved pokemon. Riolu attempting to use ICE PUNCH on the ground to create an ice shield in front of him though it ends up breaking from the strength. Though he is quick to shake himself of the water before trying to run in and FORCE PALM the froakie.

"Let them," Razz encourages knowing during the war there were people who saw him as just 'some kid' a thought that they would regret, and Eris could do the very same. Though probably less violent that what his battles ended up in, "Let them think you're just some kid this way when their guard is down because they didn't take you seriously they can regret it," he offers as he gives a whistle to Riolu who decided to take action. using QUICK ATTACK they would try to kick the wooper into the air before jumping up to try and FORCE PALM them down. Ra wanting to help show that neither he nor Razz would under estimate Eris for her age. [break][break]

Unlike Salem who is just playing around with Ralts like a child.

Ra stopped in awe as the beedrill ended up engulfed in light. Evolving further beyond what most pokemon could do, and while terrifying he was excited about it. Knowing that once he evolved he would be able to do the same, he wonders if it's a power he would be able handle. Though distracted thoughts let him be open. [break][break]

While he heard the whistle to try and dodge so as the stinger came all he could really do is bring his arms up and absorb the damage as much as he could as the attacked threw him back. Yup he wasn't going to last much longer he looked back to his trainer who gives him a small smile "Not going to go down without a fight right?" he questions Ra as a way to encourage him. [break][break]

Ra gives a huff as he gets back up waiting for the right time in which the Beedrill would try to attack again before he would try to COUNTER it.

Salem over plays when he is 'captured in darkness ' over acting in the 'Oh no I shall never see again! I'm blind I'm blind!' kind of fashion as he giggles as he would attempt to bop the Pokemon blinding him.[break][break]

Razz is just amused, "Well the base no longer needs as much attention and events like this are good for training," he offers back as Ra gets ahead of himself and shakes Eris before guesturing toward the battle field he runs to. [Break][break]

The MISTY TERRAIN means Ra would most likely stay at the disadvantage through this fight along side the type advantage she already had. The ribbon is easy to trip him up and bring the small pup down. Though he's quick to try and recover as Ra attempts to FORCE PALM the other to make her let go.

It doesn't take long for the sound of the flapping beings and the vibration to throw the young pup off. Soon after being struck with the POISON JAB, he was thankfully lucky enough to avoid the poison going into his system.[break][break]

"Sullivan," Razz greets back as he takes the last bite of his sandwich as he and his pokemon were having. A little meal break between matches his Salem and Ra childishly stuffing their faces as both seems to be testing how much they could fit in their mouth more than the other.[break][break]

"Oh new set up already?" and here he thought they had more time, he gives Ra a whistle who just swallows what they got before heading in the direction of the younger trainer excitingly.[break][break]

His tone may had come off rather serious to anyone else, but seeing how Ollie had known him for as long as he had, he should've picked up on Razz's subtle sarcasm. Ra seeming to be punching the air as if to ask the head ranger if he were ready.

Turns out the little tournament was a nice little distraction from everything else going on. And it looks like they even knew their next opponent as the trio went to find them. once spotted Salem would try to fly and sneak up behind Eris to cover her eyes in a little 'guess who' game[break][break]

"Matches going well?" razz would question rather than do a greeting because social skills still suffered. Beside him Ra jumping from foot to foot to get warmed up.
