He can't help but give the other a nervous smile, still worried he has ruined things here. He couldn't help but be a little curious on just how advance technology has gone in the past several years and he didn't want to ruin his chances here just because he upset the wrong person. "Ah yes! Admin- uhhh Underboss Beckett," he is quick to correct himself, still very much used to the man's old title and how things were back in Kanto. "He had taken me in, I'm Raziel Beckett" he introduces himself finally getting used to using his mentor's name as he has been working on it with his introduction to others.[break][break]

Once he pointed out he dropped something Raziel was quick to move, "Oh uhh let me," he insist as he also goes down. But with his new lack of depth perception, as well as his new height, neither of which he had been used to just yet, this time he does accidently bump heads with the other. [break][break]

Raziel recoiling just slightly as he rubs his forehead, "I-I am so soooo sorry!" he was really making a bad impression

Okay well this was new, when Adrian Malcolm explained teralization to him for the first time he had mentioned that the pokemon got only one typing based off the crown. So what the hell was the typing of this new crown? Did it just power up itself or had this thing just suddenly become all the types out there? Its a learning experience that was for sure, especially as the elite four showcases' the paradox pokemon's new power with it's terra blast Raziel unable to do anything but watch as the blast essentially denigrates the dustox. [break][break]

Craaaap, is all he can thinks as he worries about their situation. He has poisoned them, priam conrad had set the weather to hurt and blind the man, and @amenna was their current muscle but it didn't seem enough. It was like as much as they pushed the Elite Four member the more he pushed back, "He's doing a damn good job of it so far," Raziel comments as he wonders just what to do now, his toxic chain Noibat wasn't even close to the other's league just yet and he doesn't feel like losing another pokemon. After witnessing Amenna mega evolving her pokemon he realizes the one thing he is capable of doing as he takes out another pokeball. [break][break]

Unlike the dustox before it their pokeball has signs of worn and use rather than the new and shiny. The Toxtricity inside it one of the pokemon he had borrowed from the underboss as a way of trying to keep up with the rest. To do his part as the Dynamax Band activates to make the ball grow before he tosses it, "Make him pay for the dustox!" he orders as the Toxtricity grows and shapes into it's Gigantamax form. From the order once it has gather itself they would use G-Max Stun Shock on the Iron Valiant for it's crime.[break][break]

By the time the group had arrived they would see Raziel looking over the footage that the rotom drones had recorded again. There with him would be both the ranger and his Rapidash, and their 'target' from before sitting on a chair, putting on his prosthetic leg. Both of them giving their own two cents on what they thought of the recruits as Razz reviewed the footage. The captain's face was emotionless as ever as he seemed to gather his thoughts and how to properly articulate his thoughts. [break][break]

"Welcome back Rangers," he simple greets waiting for them to get in line and stand at attention before he would go on giving his review. Talking about his disappointment of the lack of communication at the beginning as a whole unit. With the way the Cloyster ranger took off on his own and notes how if the man with the Lycanrock didn't go with him they never would've found their target. Though he does not scold the lot of them for splitting up, and does give praise to both Roy and Miyoko for their search that found them the 'blood' at the scene to allow them they knowledge of how urgent they had to find their target. "Important advice," comes from the elite ranger with the Rapidash, "To try n' pick up on them little hints like how neither me or my pokemon were in 'distress'"[break][break]

"How Megaevolved pokemon are very rare in the wild," the ranger with the prosthetic chimed in, "That usually takes the connection between a keystone and a megastone, save for a few places but also knowing what shouldn't be there helps"[break][break]

"Its why we always encourage study and keeping up with current events, or the most used pokemon of the Ranger base near by," Razz mentions with a hint of amusement on the last part. "But Roy you preformed very well with the fight," he compliments and even praises the other two for their attempted assist and even Steve's medical knowledge for the first aid knowledge. "Overall I think you all did well, most of your lack of experience in the field showed but its why we do these exercises to learn to cooperate with your fellow Rangers, I will be filling out notes for all of you to read and think over, so unless you have any questions you're dismissed," Razz offered his criticism and waited to see if any of them wanted more.

"Theo," he answers simply answers still unsure about where the lines were. He isn't used to change and in his head things were all the same, yet he knows its not. Not that the space around him had really helped that as he has been ordered to stick to this room and this room only. He doesn't know the time, he doesn't know the day, as outside the single window was just nothing but the deep sea. So a lot of things still felt out of sorts but most importantly was just, why would anything change?[break][break]

"Heh can go back 4 years with your shadow powers and tell that to that witch Victoria?" he partially jokes in response, though his dislike of Theo's daughter Victoria Beckett was probably not new to the other. He is sure he has complained about both her and also some of the other kids in his class before if Cillian had given him the chance to talk about it between work. Though with the way his brain was currently scrambled he has zero recollection if the other has spoken about the other's daughter to him before. Though his head can't help but tilt curiously at the other at the next bit.[break][break]

"You outranked him?" Raziel could only imagine what kind of power trip that could entail, "Did you... get back at him then?" He didn't know the full extent to what Theo had put Cillian through, only bore witness to the time he took him from the labs. Everything else he only saw second hand with the way he would come in injured more often than not. [break][break]

"Mystery like the genre or mystery like you've forgotten their topics?" he can't help but question but only seems to tilt his head the other way at the other at the mention of the romance novel. Pondering if this was something he was always interested in or something more new since he was married now. Or maybe he was only now realizing just how little he knew of the other's life outside of work. "Ummm paleontology and fossil Pokémon sound good, fiction books were also one of those things that weren't allowed and until I get the go ahead I think I'd rather play it safe if you don't mind sir"

When she brings up her question about jayden cross Raziel likes to think that they are close, though admittedly just like with Cillian Quinn something felt a little off with their reunion. Yet he still chalks it all up to the fact that it had been 6 years, they have clearly changed, while he has reverted to being... he doesn't know really as he has no clue what he was like after the years of punishment from his father. He shakes his head at the thought though as he tries to focus on his company and the work she gave him to help translate her father's work. "Yeah, this feel a little different now, but our parents were friends so he was over a bit he's kinda like uhhh... a cousin," he wasn't sure if the other still felt the same about him but he could only hope. As she ponders he continues his work a bit only interrupted by her question and he just gives her a questionable look, "What are you 5?" there is no malice behind the question but clearly something that has been repeated to him often enough that he knew better. "Sorry I... don't mean that, uhhhh... my dad always said nicknames are for kids who can't say a name right, and so nicknames for my pokemon have always been discouraged," he offers back as he take a moment to look at his Bulbasaur, wondering if he should name it to spite his father. "And yeah it has a Toxic Chain on it," he offers as he picks it up to put them on the table to have the chain on full display, "I don't know what causes the phenomenon but it seems to infect pokemon and makes them poison type and gives them new abilities and power." As she names her own pokemon again he looks unsure about it. It was weird to hear nicknames for pokemon as neither his previous parents or Theo ever did such a thing. It was forbidden for him or his brother to do it, so it all felt odd. "Uhh good to meet them?"

"Yeah but I'm cuter than them right?" the girl questions as she gives the biggest grin that she can muster. Her rival just rolling his eyes and sticks his togue out at her in response. But both were still fascinated in the Azurill and both were listening as the ranger mentioned that it could only go to one of them, the two looking eager to try and get the quiz correct. Once the question hits the boy clearly raises his hand first but the girl raises her hand and answers after, "Normal-Fairy!" she is quick but the boy just puffs his cheeks in annoyance. [break][break]

"Stupid I raised my hand first!" he complained but he still kept his hand raised, "But I know other things 'bout them like like how sometimes they change gender when they evolve and uhhh ummmm how they can throw themselves with their tail!" he looks to the baby pokemon with a large smile, "I bet if you come with me we can even break the current record!"[break][break]

Both kids do look to the ranger to see who she would choose.

"Sounds like you're trying to take on responsibility that isn't yours kid, why not leave it to those in power?" Raziel simply questions the other, clearly not knowing the teens' status within the region. Though he still held onto the personal belief that this whole war thing shouldn't be fought by kids in the first place. He knows he didn't want to fight as a kid, and he doesn't want to fight the young man now. [break][break]

Though as the gust hits yet the rimbombee wasn't poisoned it becomes clear what ability the bug pokemon has. Clearly the kid was smarter than he originally thought he'd be nearly throwing out his usual tactic out the window with the ability alone. He had the poison for now but with the Elgyem in the back maybe there was something to be worried about. An arm comes up as the pollen explodes and hits his bulbasuar, they're hurt but its clear he can keep on going. [break][break]

There is a click before he whistles, another click and a different whistle as both of his pokemon move into action the bulbasuar going for a poison type WEATHER BALL, thanks to the acid rain. Purple energy sorting itself within his bulb before it would aim it at the bug. Meanwhile the Noibat screeches and attempts a SUPERSONIC at the teen and his Elgyem. Hoping to confuse them to impair their ability to fight against him, maybe the action will get this over with sooner rather than later as he would rather not hurt the kid too much. He was impressed enough that he was trying to stand his ground and defend this land against him, but this was not their duty.

"Lucky that... I would know better?" Raziel can't help but question the other about his comment. This whole thing was honestly hard to watch, the presence of his father setting his anxiety into a panic but with the Underboss there he feels he can't react. If he did he would fail so he just continues to witness the other's memory, taking in a nervous breath as his father sighed and brought out a whistle.[break][break]

"So you claim," he mumbles as he twirls the whistle a bit before he blows it. The pitch it radiates too high for simple humans like them to hear but one of his ghost does show up in the form of his Gastly phases through the wall as Pryde gives a pointed look toward his subordinate before he snaps his fingers. The gas pokemon floating toward the grunt before the gastly ball puts itself within the same space as Gavin. With it's body made of gas there would be no physical force but the gas it was made up of would no doubted begin to slowly fill the other's lungs to slowly cause suffocation.[break][break]

Pryde moves around his desk as his gastly does this, "My son isn't worth losing your favor with me Merlino, nor is he worth your life," he tells the other seemingly more than willing to allow his gastly to fully engulf the scientist. While Pryde has hurt his men over the topic of his sons he has yet to kill for the same but there was a first for everything. The Head Scientist moving forward just enough to look the other in the eye. Kneeling if he had to if the act forced the other down, "Are you sure you have nothing to tell me?"

"Yeah the ghost are really neat, and they're good for work I believe that or maybe they're hosting this thing as a way to get souls to weaken and feast on," Raziel jokes though he feels hea not too far off from the truth as his own father had used ghost pokemon to feast on the spirits of pokemon who had died in their labs. Hopefully he didn't freak the other two out as the other left for the refreshments. Part of him curious if she would go for the green grapes he showed off before he looks to Adrian. "So what else do people do at these things?"

The Head Scientist gives and exasperated sigh, and even knowing that this was just some memory Raziel couldn't help but already he could feel the sudden shift in mood. This was how his father was, seemingly kind one minute and so cold and cruel the next. It could easily be felt in the look of disappointment Pryde gave the other as he turned his chair to give Gavin his full attention now. [break][break]

"Do not feign ignorance with me Merlino," Raphael speaks with a harsh tone full of disappointment. "You and I both know the kind of talk that get people in our line of work into trouble and if Raziel's thoughts were as simple as wondering about something as simple as that I would not have called you in," he scolds before he leans back in his chair with a face full of concern and worry, yet Raziel has seen this look before. It was one that has been used to make him faulter time and time again against him. [break][break]

"I am a concerned father Merlino, and if Raziel is going around asking questions that will get him or his brother in trouble I need to know about it so I can properly confront and nip it in the bud," there is no mention of himself or his wife when it came to that same concern despite knowing that the whole family was often at risk dealing with this version of Rocket, only his boys. "You're one of the few friends he has that I can see him opening up to, so please Merlino, has he said anything concerning to you?"

"You're just stubborn, but don't worry we'll correct that soon enough," Raziel antagonizes back as the other tries to make a stand against him, the pokemon he threw out admittedly made him nervous. Both were good against all of his poison types and he didn't have the type coverage he used to have in the past. The Rocket had a few that he barrowed from his mentor but he doesn't want to rely on the underboss' abilities. He wants to show his own skills not what was barrowed, if he can't show that off then what would be the point of keeping him there in hoenn? [break][break]

The acid rain will hurt the other and his pokemon, the toxic surge would strengthen both of his pokemon's poison attacks. Not that it mattered if his pokemon couldn't effect... yet maybe.... Both of his pokemon are struck, bracing themselves for the hard hits, but it wouldn't be over. Not that quickly, he clicks and whistles making his bulbasuar act as it uses TOXIC SWING, the toxic chain around it's bulb stretching to try and strike both the Gliscor and Metagross. The steel type might not be effected by poison type attacks but thanks to the Bulbasaur's Corrosion it was not immune to being poisoned, and hopefully the toxic surge would boost his attack enough to poison both pokemon. [break][break]

From there it would be a stall tactic, and what better way to do that than to aim for their master? A different kind of click and another whistle and his toxtricity as electricity gathers around it's body before it uses SHOCK WAVE aiming it's electricity against the ranger. [break][break]

Take out the head and the body will follow, that or if the other's pokemon cared they would hopefully try to prioritize protecting their trainer over their own safety. Maybe he could take advantage of the situation this way.

Though as if realizing what he did he once more steps away from Cillian as he shrinks into himself and mumbles, "sorry..." [break][break]

"But of course, I'm proud of your work and time and time again you have shown yourself to be a man I can trust," he continues to butter up before his hands cup together as he turns his chair to the one way glass toward his lab that allowed him to watch his men from his office. "Which is why I must ask you, as I know Raziel has come to trust you as well, but has he been talking to you about more.... delicate topics?" he questions seeing it as the best way to put it. Sure he knew his office was a safe place to talk about such a thing, yet the admittance of his failure to keep his son's teenage rebellion under check was not something he wants out in the public. And he knows he can fully trust Gavin to keep this conversation to himself.
