They wake and Raziel is back in the labs but rather than feeling bliss for having impressed the Underboss all he feels is emotional damage. Raziel takes off the stupid headset and feels the tears fall as he sits up. He can practically hear both his mom and Asriel calling him a crybaby in the back of his head which just makes the pain worse. [Break][break]

"Yeah I guess..." he mumbles trying to pull himself together and not seem so pathetic. Yet having seen his father again brought back a lot more trauma than he was able to deal with. So he sits for a bit trying to compose himself with little success as his mind just falters towards blaming himself for his father's transgressions against him.[break][break]

"was I..." he finally speaks up as he looks to Cillian, "Was I really that problematic of a kid?"

"I mean I didn't mind taking your name, I don't see why I would mind living with you too," he jokes in response the smile on his face was clear as he was excited at the idea of feeling like he lived in a home again. The room in the sub was fine for what it was, and despite his current issues with his father and family, he had spent so long following a routine that the month not following it felt off. "Ummmm.... are there.... uhhh do you have any house rules to go by? I-I know you're probably sick of me of me saying this but dad had a lot of rules in the home to live by too and I just wanted to make sure that I'm not violating anything," he questions a bit more nervous as he knows he has brought up his father's rules on more than one occasion, but after 17 years of following a routine it was hard to break. Especially when breaking said rules usually meant pain. [break][break]

So far Theo has done no such thing to him, nor does he expect it. Yet that underlining threat of being sent back after just waking up in panic left a harsh impression.

"I have yeah," he will not mention out loud how creepy the older man is because in the end that was still Jayden's dad and his mom's friend. "But that's what I mean, like does training make it easier? For missions to come and stuff? What kind of missions have you done? Does your dad teach you or are you also under someone else?" he can't help but question wanting to just avoid doing his work for now. Sure he fears the consequences if he doesn't get it done [break][break]

At the mention of their brothers Raziel can't help but be proud but also have pity. He loved his brother, he has almost little to no doubt that they wouldn't have survived the island without him. Yet the mood feels like it changes at the mention of the other's brother. "Yeah well you have us, we can be like your unofficial younger brothers," he says with a smile once again wincing from the pain in his cheek.

In the past his father's compliments had become few and far between one another. So when it happened it felt like finally getting a drink of water after weeks in the desert, and despite his absence it seems to effect even now as Theo compliments him, however small, he can't help but feel gitty about it. He simply gives a small bow of his head, "Thank you sir," is all he replies before the system starts to change around them and the man within his Bulbasaur's grip disburse into data. [break][break]

Now around them is one of many of the destroyed gyms of Kanto, the damage from the gym all too familiar. He isn't sure as to what they're meant to do until the data builds one of their Admin's from before. Though a challenge is thrown Raziel can't help but be in doubt. "This is the new Rocket Boss for Hoenn right?" he questions as he looks to Theo unsure about how to approach this especially when right now he only had two pokemon to his name. He wouldn't stand a chance in this fight.

Did they finally get him? [break][break]

Had their tactic to team up against the Elite Four member finally going to show it's fruits? Sadly it seemed far too good a reality as a blue light crashes down on them. What the hell kind of monsters were these Avatars!? How the hell was the trainer himself able to create a hurricane of his own blasting away the storm the beast had originally set up, the wind knocking him into the leg of his Toxtricity. Raziel making sure to keep close to his pokemon to ensure he could continue to give orders. [break][break]

Avatar or not hopefully their numbers and the gigantamax Toxtricity were enough to keep them even. He gives an order and the poison pokemon tries to strike at the wolf yet it cuts through him and stops him in their attack. It's defense cracking easily as if it were nothing. Did the damn dog have an advantage over these types of pokemon or was this power it could use against regular pokemon too and it was just lucky he had a big target. [break][break]

"Sir I think we have a problem!" Raziel calls out hoping the others also realized the damage the other's patron dished out. Yet he still follows suit for now deciding to continue to follow the others' lead and if they wanted to overwhelm then he would continue to try and hinder. [break][break]

"Slow them down!" Raziel orders and of course his pokemon follows orders as it slams it's palm into the ground for a MAX STRIKE sending sparks of energy across the battlefield and towards their opponent to explode underneath them, hoping to slow them down and allow for priam conrad's espeon's attacks to hopefully land. The younger man just shrugs at the prodding not entirely sure how to express it all. This entire week was full of changes and yet things that remained the same, as he knew these people. Gav-Cillian, Theo, Jayden yet all of them were different, older and in higher places in which, with the exception of Theo, he didn't think people like them could ever see. "I don't know unbelievable, prodigious? Pick your poison," he jokes with a small smile though it's quick to fade to some uncertainty at the mention of one of the admins.[break][break]

"What's with the weird code names for the Admins? I don't recall that back from Kanto," he questions finding the differences odd between the two regions organizations. "though if this person can probably help with the memory thing I might see them eventually," his shoulders can't help but tense a bit now that he was done cleaning and now looking for some gauze, "But if I'm being honest, and this stays between us okay?" he questions the other with a bit of a pleading expression, "I.... I don't really want to remember... least not right now."[break][break]

Once more any silence sort of just goes over his head as he is slightly struggling with the gauze as his right hand is still a struggle to use. Though he gives the other a simple 'you're kidding me' kind of stare. "Jayden you're hair went from black to white, and your eyes purple to blue you also have kind of what Merlino... no uhhhhh Quinn," he is quick to correct himself but its clear he's struggling after going with one name for so long. "has going on... the two of you carry yourselves very differently"

"Not afraid to fight a kid," he's already taken the lives of kids this age before, if he were ordered to he would probably do it again. Problem was he didn't want to do it again, and he's hoping with this so called 'newer Rocket' he won't have to get his hands dirty in the same way again. Though his head tilts at the news that Rocket ordered an assassination of this kid. Was this kid higher up the totem poll that he realized? A small tch coming from him as the other insults him for attacking a trainer. [break][break]

"Yet note how the attack was not intended to harm, the entire first half of our encounter designed to intimidate, let me assure you I had no interest in harming you as that is not my job," Raziel growls back yet it seems the kid intends to up the ante showing off a power they definitely didn't have in Kanto as the boy recalled his pokemon to call them back now grown to a giant's height. Right pokemon battles here were more complicated, with their megas and their dynamaxing and just a lot of bullshit that he was way too behind on. [break][break]

It's only thanks to the Noibat's new poison typing that it's able to survive the Dazzling Gleam to counter it's dragon's weakness, though its clear it won't last much longer if he doesn't do something. Yet what could he do against this? This entire time all he wanted to do was prove that he deserved to be here, that he could keep up with the rest and yet time and time again he is confronted with something he has no idea on how to handle because he rushed into volunteering to be in this route war. Was this all he was without his brother to back him up? Just forever to be the butt of the joke because he can't measure up to the new age of battles? They're going to lose just like always because he doesn't have the strength to handle a battle on his own.[break][break]



Its a smack from one of his Bulbasaur's vines that snaps him out of his own thoughts. Seems to argue something in it's own language that while he can't understand word for word there is something there where he understands the heart of it. Some skill he seemed to develop during his absentee time, but that didn't matter. It just reminded him of just how stubborn they could both be and they had something up their sleeve still as he grabs out his terra orb and activates it tossing it to turn them into a poison Terra, Raziel and the Bulbasaur hoping to combined the power up from both the Toxic Terrain, and the poison terra as it unleashes a TERRA BLAST at the dynamax pokemon. Along side them the Noibat trying to use HEAT WAVE to combine with it in it's final desperation to take on their foe.

Raziel can't help but keep watching as his father prolonged Gavin's punishment all due to his talking to his colleague. Far too often that if he didn't want things worse he wouldn't look away and so eyes stay glued to the scene. At the moment wishing he had just kept to his damn self and how everything would be better. Gavin wouldn't have been punished, his brother wouldn't have betrayed him, he'd probably still have his whole face if he had just kept his yap shut. [break][break]

He tries to shake this thought out of his head as he waited for the answer just for a wave of guilt to overcome him at the other's accusation. He bites his lip as he fights back the tears in his good eye, but the hurt is clearly there. "You think I didn't try to avoid saying anything either? But when he confronted me he knew!" he yells forgetting for the moment that he was talking to the underboss and not just his lab brother, "Asriel had told our dad everything I said to him," that he knew for a fact as his brother had admitted to it, "and he told me you did the same so why would I think you wouldn't when my own twin did?" he questions in clear betrayal. Though unlike Cillian's grudge whose was years old his was only months, and everything still felt fresh. "Said my punishment would be worse if I didn't tell him my version of events... and why would you choose defending me when you could have his favor... and l-like everyone else you were just using me to get on h-his good side," he continues the tears following down the one side of his face as he tried to explain his side through cries.[break][break]

All of which he believed because of course he did, his father had him wrapped around his his damn pinky. Basically programed and conditioned him since he was a toddler and knew how to manipulate him as if Raziel came with a user's manual.

"Oh... right...." he simply mutters as he is corrected having forgotten that for just a moment as they were talking and seemingly depressed all over again about of the amount of time he has been robbed of. Still a bit on the fence if he should be upset about it as it meant all the time he was dealing with the consequences of fighting his father was gone at least. [break][break]

"If you say so," is all he answers back to that wishing he could understand as he wasn't trying to turn the other against his mentor. Raziel was just trying to understand the situation, how it differed from his own and maybe get some type of insight on how he should be feeling as he has been conflicted about a lot of things. None of which he has really had the opportunity to talk about, nor does he feel like he would get it at this point. [break][break]

He doesn't need to be told twice for that as he nudges the bulbasuar off his lap before he just lets gravity take him and flops into the pillow, eyes already closed as this entire interaction has left him mentally exhausted. "Really missed talkin' to you though, sucks what dad did..." he mutters as his brain starts to quickly drift as he hardly saw his lab brother as a threat to not be okay to sleep around.

The dancing didn't really appeal to him, but that was because he didn't know how. He has already ate a bit and he doesn't know what drinks are good. He's too used to the basic things that everything around them was almost overwhelming to a point where he felt like prey in an open FIELD. "That feels like so little but also so much, I've never been to a holiday party before," not that he knows of anyway, "So if you have something you want to do..." he trails off to allow the other to choose something which he does and Raziel allows himself to be nudged else where.[break][break]

Though as he's pulled something feels like it over comes him and once again his head is throbbing as he puts his head in his hand. This feeling was all too familiar giving his most recent set of memory problems. He is about to say something to.... to...... shit what was his name again, "Ummmm uhhh did you feel that too? I think... I think the ghost might have tried something," he mentions noting the writing that was appearing on the wall yet the other still nudged him along until they were in a new room. Curiosity makes him wonder a bit in it, his attention being drawn to the rocks as he heads over and gives his best opinion of the matter, "Old evolution stones that have been used maybe?"

Pryde just sighs in disappointment before he stands himself up and just leans himself back on his desk, "Well I suppose we do have a little time for you to think about that," he tells him as he waits seeming to just check his pocket watch. "It's been about 90 seconds so far, could only imagine how much your lungs must be burning won't be long before lasting damage can happen, all of which will stop if you just give me what I want," he offers a way out. Though right when the 3 minute mark hits Pryde would snap his finger again with a sigh. He doesn't hit the other, lord knows his punches don't compare to the young man's sponsor. [break][break]

"Fine then, for now lets say I believe you about not knowing anything," he shoos away the gastly and allows the other a chance to recover and catch his breath, "Though if I find out you're lying to me Merlino you might find your position here in jeopardy, for now feel free to finish the rest of your shift, we have deadlines to meet," he informs the other as he put on back the smile from before, one that just sent shivers down Raziel's spine before he looks to Cillian. "I don't understand, why would you do that?" he can't help but question. Even when the underboss told him he hadn't he just agreed with it because he was the underboss and Raziel had no grounds to question it even if he didn't fully believe it. Though after watching this he is more conflicted and now just doesn't understand why the other would risk so much for him.
