IN OCTOBER — the aftermath of the war is spent rejuvenating the region. pokemon and trainers are hard at work, repairing natural landscapes, while clearing fields and mountains of macabre remnants. still, pools of poison remain where naganadel and poipole have fallen... until they are cleaned, poor unsuspecting wildlife may find themselves within these toxic traps, forcing them to become aggressive and hostile.[break][break][break]

a swarm of escavalier have become aggressive after being contaminated by a mysterious sludge. despite their hostility, the pokemon still seem to practice civil and honorable combat. for this reason, the easiest way to do away with these escavalier is to fight dirty. defeat them so that league rangers can rehabilitate them in a safer location.[break][break][break]

A PRANKSTER through and through, the ghost-type never once fails to abuse and exploit the weakness of one in order to accomplish its goal and fulfill every desire. Such is life, after all.

Taking is done by force.

And that is the force that drives Amethyst’s METAL BURST when it connects with a stray Escavalier, launching it far away. The gem-ghoul continues to sprawl on the ground all while celebrating its victory with a mad cackle.

"Fake Out!"

Amblin had cheap shotter the jousting Pokemon when it had charged. Normally the Meostic preferred to serve as a guardian for Josh's two children, Zack and Lyra, but right now they were perfect for what was necessary. Cheap shots, dirty tricks, taking the opponent by surprise. The Escavalier was knocked by, and Josh used the opportunity given to call for a follow up.

If they could keep knocking them out like this, they might just have a chance...

Scizor feinted with its left claw and then swung its right claw directly into escavalier's head. The bullet punch, true to its name, moved as fast as a bullet to clock the escavalier before it could react. Cracks cascade down its helmet with green blood spurting out as escavalier was sent sprawing on the ground.

Unconcerned with honor the scizor pummeled the escavalier till it no longer put up a fight.

Having several Escavaliers of his own, Fernando knows how tenacious the steel type bug can be. Their lances are extremely dangerous and his Zororak's lack of reach puts them in a serious disadvantage. Their only play is to exploit the Pokemon's personality. As a species, they tend to act out of their sense of pride and honor, something Fernando looks to exploit.

His Pokemon lets out a stream of FAKE TEARS to lull them into a false sense of security just in time for the rangers to pounce.

Circe watched as her weavile swaggered up to an unsuspecting escavalier, a hand raising to tauntingly entice it closer for a fight. The aggressive pokemons bares its lances, but its honorable nature prevents it from attacking outright. Lured into a false peacefulness, it moves closer towards its soon-to-be-foe. A sneering bow is what the steel-type receives. Just as the escavalier moves to return the gesture though, the weavile takes advantage of the situation. A FOUL PLAY is what brings the pokemon down, as claws grab its helmet like head and slam it into the ground.
