THE CAVE ROCK FALLS APART. Ahead, the path ahead is drowned in darkness. As you and your Pokemon take a breather, you must ILLUMINATE the cave, for your cave lights seem too weak to penetrate the black. However, it is more than just dark. The rest of the cave is submerged in water; however, it is clear to everyone that looks under the surface, that there is a stretch of cave ground to surface upon should they be able to swim through. Ensure to take a deep breath ( or have a WATER BUBBLE) before diving in and don't get stuck on the underwater rocks![break][break][break]

Thankfully, she still had her brother’s Greninja out, and seeing that they had managed to clear the first wall of obstacles, she pointed ahead.

“Alright, hey. HEY! Guys!” she said, calling their attention with a singular finger snap that echoed throughout the cave. “We broke through.”

Squinting into the darkness, it was… well, the lamps that were provided by the tour company (the ones that rested on their miner’s helmets) wasn’t good enough to pierce the darkness, and from what she could pick out in the low light, there was… quite a lot more water than she was expecting.

“Hope you don’t mind if I borrow Hotsuma for a bit longer?” she asked Thomas, before pointing ahead. “Hydro Cannon, again. This time, feel free to go crazy.”

The Greninja looked at her again in confusion, before blinking and waiting for his owner’s approval. Nonetheless, a strong, powerful blast of water came ripping from the Greninja after a few ‘hand seals’ later, clearing the way somewhat.

But… it wasn’t enough for them to progress!

“Uh… shit. Anyone got anything that can pierce through the darkness?” she asked the other three, trying to squint through the pervading gloom.

As the wall finally went down, and the treasures revealed themselves, Thomas would recall his Wailord quickly. From there, they were free to advance through the area. When asked if she could borrow the Greninja for a little longer, Thomas gave her a nod. With Hotsuma doing his thing, firing off another Hydro Cannon, they would just need something to help them survive underwater, and something to deal with any rocks. And of course, light to pierce the darkness.

"I got this.", he told his sister.

Thomas would send out a Starmie, loaned to him by arian coin. It was a personal favor, one that he'd have to pay back somehow. But for now, the jewel on the Starmie would begin to illuminate the dark caves before them. Thomas looked to Razz and Selena to see what they had in store.

With a combination of powerful water attacks it seems like they finally broke through the wall. Razz would make sure to collect them to take back up later to further exam, as he did bring a bag for this. "Yeah I'm also from there, Cyllage City to be more specific, though with all of you being childhood friends and all I apologize if I'm intruding," he tells still feeling highly uncomfortable around the group. He thanks his Empoleon for his help even if they only gave a 'hmph' in return. After he walks with the others as Thomas lights up the area in front of them while the other two work on breaking everything out of the way. [break][break]

Though it seems like they were all going to have to get a little wet as it looks like they would need to swim to get to the next portion. Not that a normal person could hold their breath for so long so he tossed out another pokeball. Out of it coming a small Dewpider who takes a moment to take in the scene, "Think you got this?" he ask the spider who gives her trainer a salute as it creates a bubble to put around both her trainer and Meowstic before jumping onto the shoulders of the others and creating bubbles for them as well as if giving the appearance of divers without the suit. After she would accompany them into the water to ensure her bubbles kept in tack.

seeing the wall of stalactites creeping from the ceiling, she summons her corviknight to break through the first layers. garuda leaps into the air, drill pecking through the rock formation.[break][break]

satisfied, selena returns to her company's attention.[break][break]

“we should have met before if that's the case. kalos is large, but it feels like it's a really small region compared to others.”[break][break]

While Razz attempted to ring out the water from his shirt as he didn't care for the feel. Razz's anxiety couldn't help but rise again as the GYM Leader mentioned being from camphrier town. Thankfully studying Kalos was part of keeping up this charade of his, but it definitely didn't help his anxiety at all as of course one of them would be near where he 'lived.' Not even Salem shaking the water off his fur bothered the young man as he was trying to deal with the situation. "I kinda doubt it, I was homeschooled and heavily sheltered," he comments tiredly. They may not be far into their adventure but he was already mentally worn down. [break] [break]

With a new problem in front of them as he makes sure to get through carefully. Razz calling out his Vivion to use GUST on the rock wall to help push it back and out of their way. Or at least make it a bit easier to destroy without its fragments falling on them.

“You’re from Cyllage?” she turned to inquire of their companion.

“Well, well, me an’ Tom here are from Shalour,” she added a few moments later as she pointed in Thomas’s direction. “So yeah, we’ve seen a lot of people enter the Tower and come out looking like they’d been wrecked and handed a pink slip or two,” she continued with an immodest chuckle.

“Though of course, we also had our own fair share of pushy parents.”

Seeing that the way was now clear, they came face to face with another wall. This time, it was something she was confident that she could tackle.

Sending out a familiar-looking (at least to Thomas) Staraptor, she pointed at the segment of wall they were chipping at.

“Aerial Ace, and make it count!” she called out, watching as the avian flew forward and attacked the same lower-right side of the wall they were now all looking at, wondering what lay hidden beneath…

Upon emerging from the waters, Thomas would quickly pop the bubble provided to him. "Thank you all.", he'd tell the Pokemon who helped them navigate the area, before turning to the humans. Thomas continued to stay out of the conversation, but listened. So Razz was from Cyllage City? Right on the same third of Kalos that the others lived on? Though he noticed his 'accent' was non-existent, and his speech was right in line with someone from Kanto.

-"Guess we can speak our native tongues then?"-, Thomas finally spoke, in Kalosian.

In any case, Thomas looked to the wall that they were attacking. The final push would need to come in the form of a strong attack, one stronger than the Drill Peck from the Corviknight. And he had just the thing for the job. Thomas brought out Clint, his Decidueye. -"Clint, I need you to launch a Brave Bird at that wall. Trust me."-, he told the Decidueye, pointing to the exact segment.

With a shrug, the ghostly owl readied an arrow, one that was pulled back aggressively. Loosing the arrow caused the ghost to grunt in pain, the act being clearly painful. But in the end, it was worth it, as the Brave Bird arrow struck the section of the wall.

Everyone must use a move. Please bold used move and include base power of used move.
Used pokemon moves must have a base power + multi-strike moves will only apply their base power once.
Stat-altering moves and abilities will not affect the base power in this event.
You have access to all pokemon in your pc; however, you can not use Ditto.
There is no locking in of pokemon; you can catch pokemon to help you complete the challenge even after the challenge has started!

Was it too late to quit? Surely he could just claim he hurt himself, or claustrophobia was getting to him. Though seeing as it was his pokemon they would need again to come back out from the water that was probably a no go. Though with first Selena from camphrier town, and now the twins here from Shalour city he was feeling surrounded and trapped. Then Thomas decides on what feels like a finishing blow of suggesting the use of their native tongue. Razz never thought he'd hate people outside of his old association and yet here he was. [break][break]

The only two things keeping his nerves at bay was Salem on his shoulder, and his examining the wall before them, an odd plate standing out between them. ="That's fine, but I warn you I haven't practiced in awhile,"= Razz comments already knowing that he wasn't going to sound like a native speaker and preemptively making an excuse for it. Calling on his Gigalith Razz steps back from the wall as he whistles his order to avoid talking even more, not wanting to give more chance for the others to question it. If he were lucky they wouldn't, but honestly he can't recall a day in his life he's been that fortunate. At his command they use POWER GEM to blast at the wall.

Thomas would give Razz a strange look upon hearing his attempt at a Kalosian accent. There was being rusty, having not spoken one's tongue in a while, but then there was that. It sounded more like the bad attempts at a Kalosian accent he heard in Saffron, back when he lived there for six years. When Selena commented, Thomas would flash her a look. He wondered if she was just being nice, or if she was actually eating this shit up. He hoped it was the former, for her sake.

In any case, Thomas brought out his Shiny Sandygast. -"Ancient Power on the wall."-, he ordered, pointing towards it. The black sand mound would briefly glow, before unleashing a prehistoric rock at the section of wall.

“Hey, it’s not my fault I was swept up with trying to better my physical know-how!” she ribbed back in Selena’s direction as she noogied the pinkette back in teasing.

“Can’t let my skills deteriorate now can I?”

To her brother, she turned and easily switched, “Well, if you ask me, you can cut him a little slack, man? Even I sound rusty to all hell in this,” she gestured, quickly unballing her Typhlosion before pointing at the weakest point of the wall.

“Willem, Rollout!” she called, switching back for a few moments and eyeing her brother—was there some suspicion in his gaze? She couldn’t be too sure.

She then watched as her Typhlosion balled himself up before literally throwing his entire body weight at the wall—and she then stood back waiting for the rest of the wall to shatter and fall away.
