Dutiful as ever Sirfetch'd worked tirelessly to pry chunks of meat from the teeth of the wailords. What he couldn't reach with his Leek sword pry out with his shield he was willed powerful winds with DEFOG to blow the teeth clean.

He wasn't big on the smell of it all but a job was a job and Sénon was trusting him to get it done.

He wondered how much meat a wailord could eat in a day and then wondered what it would be like to have others clean your teeth for you.

When they were done cleaning teeth he wanted to take a bath.

Well, he could think of worst jobs to get saddled with.

As he spun rapidly against the insides of the Wailord's teeth, grinding away the grime and other such things, he tried to simply keep his mind on the cash and not the... everything else.

He really loved his trainer too much. This was an abuse of trust.

the bergmite was small enough to fit in the mouths of the wailords, making them the perfect pokemon for this job. on hindsight though, everything looks small compared to the water-type, but only something as small as the bergmite could probably be able to fit into small, cramped spaces in between their mouths.

its rapid spin clears the wailord's mouth of debris, taking out chunks that it couldn't have processed in its mouth otherwise. as much as it was necessary for the wailord's hygiene, the bergmite feels unsanitary doing this job.

at least it is able to conquer its fear of being accidentally swallowed by some wailord if it's stuck in an ocean.

Wow, everyone was just—in need of Pokémon all over the place.

Now it was Laudine, sent out to—oh, this was something much closer to home!

Seeing that the Rangers needed help clearing out the Wailord armada, Lars was only too glad to help by sending one of his own, and so in came the Pidgeot, spinning like mad and flying towards the nearest Wailord.

Using Defog was easy, but it was not expecting to be met in the face with the smell of Wailord breath.

Oh, Arceus, that was disgusting!

Tsareena was anything but suitable for this job.

The grass-type was a pokemon of grace and beauty. A true royal who wasn’t fit for cleaning duties or anything of the sort— but she’s dutiful enough to follow the order of her trainer who’d sent her here. Despite reluctantly agreeing, the queen of the forest had some reservations regarding the way the rangers opted to clean the majestic Wailords.

With a huff and a roll of her eyes, she was eventually convinced to follow the other pokemon, rapidly spinning within the vile mouth of one of the whales in order to rid it of any dirt.

Starmie couldn't have made the wailords more uncomfortable; its rpm was through the ceiling as it scraped against their gum line, illuminating the deepest pits of their mouths that it might scour the filth betwixt teeth and bristles. Although it was incredibly effective, the vibrating from its movements disturbed the pokemon's sensitive nerves. Looks like somebody had a cavity...

Incidentally this might help indicate which wailords had declining dental hygiene, as only the most sensitive, cavity compromised teeth were sensitive enough to cause any significant reaction from these most gentle of giants.

After one such incident however with a particularly afflicted wailord, they opted to remove starmie from the project in order to spare the whales further suffering.

while everyone was being subjected to wailord breath from cleaning the insides of their mouths the blastoise was somewhat spared that horror by sticking to the outside of the large pokemon's mouths to do his cleaning. it was still gross using himself to clean out plaque, a single tooth was as big as he was after all. still a good rapid spin soaked in water was getting the job done pretty darn well if he was to congratulate himself, although maybe afterward he would ask some of his fellow helpers if they could clean out his shell next, the smell coming off of it was starting to stink worse than the wailord's mouths if that was even possible.

As far as Lysithea was concerned, this was quite possibly the worst pokéjob her master could have enlisted her for. Her QUEENLY MAJESTY couldn't stand having to wade around in the literal muck and clean. This was so beneath her! She'd never let him live it down![break][break]

When a glob of whale saliva (or whatever the hell that was!) landed on her head, she quickly whipped around with a RAPID SPIN to fling it off. The saliva from below ended up splashing on her, too, however, and prompted her into spinning even more to get it off. Unintentionally, her rampant efforts to keep herself dry and clean ended up cleaning her surroundings as well.[break][break]

Before long, the would-be queen had done well to spruce up the inside of the Wailord's mouth and the sides of its once dirtied gums. But she'd never admit it.[break]
