How did she get here?

The question had been seared into her mind since she woke up outside the Cave with Razz Kingsman staring at her. Her memories were a bit fuzzy on the details, but clear enough to recognize her mistakes: She wasn’t strong enough and she put the well-being of others before her own. Foolish. Killian Decker was probably furious.

Lex has had a day to stew in her self-loathing, sporting a sexy pair of bright orange coveralls with Sootopolis D.O.C. stamped on the back while she awaited transfer for her trial. Razz Kingsman was coming back to help escort her. What a treat. Apparently, they didn’t do bail when you weren’t registered as a citizen of Hoenn. Lex skipped that step to avoid prying eyes when she stowed away to the region. They didn’t know her name, and she wanted to keep it that way. But the longer she sat in here, the more likely they were going to be to trace her back to Johto and draw unwanted attention to her whereabouts.

Lex was starting to get anxious. The opportunity to escape hadn’t presented itself yet, but it would soon. It had to.

A sigh drew her back to lean against the wall beside her cot. She absentmindedly picked at the peeling paint on the wall of her jail cell, deep in thought.

Espionage and infiltration were Inteleon's specialty. His innate ability to completely disappear from view was invaluable. It's why Killian tasked him with watching over Lex after Kaito texted. Insidious could protect her, and she'd be none the wiser.

He'd been there during her excursion, her integration, and now her imprisonment. Insidious bided his time throughout it all. Waiting for the perfect opportunity to make his move, and it was almost here.

His hands and feet stuck to the ceiling like suction cups. Unblinking eyes lingered on Lex, studying her every movement in silence. She was deep in thought, picking at the wall in mild boredom. He could only imagine what was running through her head.

The pitter-patter of footsteps from down the hall tore away at the stillness. Insidious's vision darted towards the metallic bars of Lex's cell. A male figure, sweating and trying his best to stay calm, stepped into view.

Gripped inside his hands was a red plastic tray with a matching rubber dome overtop it. "Here's your lunch." he stammered.

Strange, Inteleon swore Lex had already eaten lunch.

The man slid the tray underneath the cell door. With nervous eyes, he looked at Lex. "You said you had a peanut allergy, so they had Dominick cook you something special. Enjoy." he turned around to leave but stopped.

"Oh and...uh...the tide is high." and then he was gone.

Insidious dropped from the ceiling once the man left. Now was the time. He pressed a finger against the handle of the cell's door. A localized Ice Beam turned it to ice that be easy for Lex to shatter. Inteleon's body shimmered ever so slightly, altering her to his presence. It quickly faded once he was sure that she'd seen him.

Hidden inside her 'food tray' was a Poke Ball containing her Gardevoir and a note.

"Get your things. I'll be waiting for you at the compounds eastern wall. Move quick and don't be seen. You don't have much time, Little Dove. - K

Razz doesn't know what he is being brought in for. He was a ranger what would they want with him? Though as he came out turns out they just wanted to question a bit about what had gone down in the caves. Turns out with his being low rank it was much easier to call him in than the other two who had help to protect the Cave of Origins. And even more so since he was talking to the current prisoner when they had come to pick her up they figured he'd might have more information as apparently she has been a silent as a lamb.[break][break]

But of course he doesn't doesn't know anything, she lied with her name and he wasn't going to press. Only useful information he got from that was how Team Rocket had experiments that made their pokemon stronger. So this is where he was, sitting and talking all the while not noticing anything is taking place just yet. [break][break]

Salem's ears twitch as he is sure he hears something, but isn't clear on just what it was.

The echo of footsteps didn’t break Lex’s gaze from the peeling wall paint, even when they stopped outside her cell. It was the voice that finally broke her concentration to look questionably at the nervous man. Amber eyes fixated on the tray he carried, well aware that she had already been offered lunch, but she refused it out of stubbornness.

A peanut allergy? The thief shot off the bed and to her full height as the he stepped back to leave. Lex wasted no time removing the dome lid to find a pokeball hidden beneath it. A sly smile spread across her red lips as she read the note, ”Killian,” she whispered to herself in a sigh of relief. She stuck the folded paper into her cleavage to not leave any evidence behind and grabbed the pokeball.

The hiss of the ICE BEAM drew her attention to Insidious’s shimmering form before he disappeared again. She gave the pokemon a nod of appreciation but had yet to move towards the door. The thief positioned herself so that the camera looking into her cell didn’t see the black shadow as it oozed out of the pokeball she cracked open. Her free hand made the sign for ‘camera’ then ‘crush’.

A dark shadow raced across the floor of her cell before a hand reached out of it to grasp the camera and crush between its long fingers. As soon as the pop of the electronic indicated it was taken care of, the thief grasped the cell’s door forcefully yanked. It didn’t budge. The grunted as she pulled against the lock again. A pale purple PSYCHIC aided her and the frozen lock gave away and she was able to slide the door open.

“Kill the power,” A SHADOW SNEAK kept the Gardevoir hidden as she INFILTRATED the station’s defenses. They wouldn’t have long before the officers watching the security footage caught on that there was a problem with the camera watching her cell.

It only took a few moments for her to find the main fuse box. A powerful PSYCHIC gripped the entire device, ripping it clean off the wall and crushing it before it dropped onto the floor. Sparks danced through the darkness as the lights in the station flickered off. A hum of a back-up generator sprang to life before it too was cut short when the Gardevoir ripped its connection away from the building. Lex sprang into action, following the maze of shadows between floodlights as she frantically searched for the evidence storage room that would have her pokemon hidden inside.

tl;dr: S!Gardevoir cuts the main power to the station and the back-up generator power so Lex can move freely without being seen by security cameras.
