sauvetage [ mission | de ]

This had 'trap' written all over it. Thomas was telling himself that there was no way that Team Rocket didn't find the tracker on the Commissioner. Even if their takeover of the city, by many accounts, had been rough, given the loss of the power plant and shipyard, they were still talking about an organization that toppled a Region, and were moving onto another, having still taken a city. Considering how long they had the Commissioner in captivity, they had to have found the tracker, and what they'd find in that warehouse would probably be the tracker having been separated from her, or if they were lucky, the Commissioner herself as bait. Either way, it'd involve explosives planted in the warehouse, or an army of Rockets ready to mow down whoever entered. He just hoped that one of the other three that came along with them had a Lucario, or something that could give them a clue on what awaited them inside. The Interpol Agent came garbed in a charcoal gray sweater that all but hugged his upper body, a matching pair of pants, combat boots worn over the ankles, black gloves, and a ski mask currently rolled up above his face, being worn just on the top of his head. He would be wearing light body armor over the sweater, as well as knee and elbow pads. Along with his six Pokeballs being placed in easily accessed areas, his revolver and collapsible baton were holstered, and ready to be drawn, if necessary. It was clear that the Agent was taking this seriously, being prepared for a fight, while his armor was just light enough to make stealth a possibility. Thomas only greeted the other three League members with a nod, before setting out with them. He had debriefed Lao and Natsu before they set out to Slateport. Whatever words or pleasantries they had for one another could wait until after the mission was done. Thomas was fine with this, wanting to get this mission done, and over with. Thomas would hear the two drunken Rockets bantering with one another. One thing lead to another, and six Pokemon would be converging onto them, which was fine with Thomas. The fact that they were drunk could either have meant that the orders they'd have given their Pokemon wouldn't be the best, or it would've made them that much more dangerous. Given their slurred speech, it seemed they were too drunk for their own good, but Thomas wasn't going to get too comfortable. Thomas plucked Colt's Pokeball out of its place, sending out the Clawitzer quickly. "Shoot down that Hydreigon with Aura Sphere!", ordered Thomas. The Clawitzer would charge up a ball of Aura, focusing his sight on the dark dragon. Colt's Mega Launcher gave the Aura Sphere a brilliant glow, before it was fired off at the Hydreigon. The sphere would come floating in the Hydreigon's direction, as if homing in on it. Thomas would send out Brutus the Pangoro as well, having the old Pangoro remain close to him, should one of their Pokemon get in close quarters with them.
