THE ULTRA PLANT IS A DARK WORLD that is wracked by frequent thunderstorms. Lightning spears the desolate canyons and valleys of this world and massive cord-like structures bridge the gaps. Whenever lightning strikes, lights attached to these cords light up too. In the horizon, large Xurkitree can be seen, dwarfing the area you arrive in...[break][break]

Several abandoned power stations can be found throughout the area, but they seem to be deactivated...

BELOW IS A POOL OF PROMPTS you may use when creating an expedition. A successful expedition requires the completion of AT LEAST FOUR PROMPTS, including any extra conferred upon creation. More will be added as time goes on and expeditions are completed.[break][break]

01 become electrocuted by lightning, the cords, etc.

02 redirect the lightning by some way, or by using the ability "lightning rod".

03 involve the status condition, "paralysis" in a meaningful way.

04 experience a temporary, but devastating mass blackout.

05 investigate the depowered power stations and their destroyed cords, powerbanks, machinery, etc.

06 involve the detonation of voltorb or electrode in some way.

07 balance on or zipline down wires that stretch from canyon to canyon.

08 involve the item "electirizer" in some way.

09 use the move, "electric terrain" or "electrify".

10 engage in battle with a member from the opposing faction.

11 involve a rotom or charjabug in some way.

12 flee from stakatakas that have been set up as security at various points in the world.

13 engage a massive shard of a regieleki that had its original form displaced here by an unknown force.

14 tend to another's injuries or staticky hair.

15 "fucking magnets, how do they work?" (i.e. use magnetism in some way)

16 search for suitable locations to set up camp/base.

PROMPTS EXCLUSIVE TO THE 2ND EXPEDITION & ONWARD

17 begin building a base camp/settlement of some kind.

18 recover notes from disintegrated megalopolan remains that suggest no other pokemon apart from ultra beasts resided here.

19 engage/encounter roaming or eerily still xurkitree that may be pivotal as a narrative obstacle or tool (e.g. powering things up).

20 encounter and survive an electrical storm, a far more dangerous version of a lightning storm that involves even more electricity.

21 discover and/or explore a subterranean level of the world through a power station or the natural landscape. this dangerous level is reminiscent of a vast board of circuitry.

22 find a way to bring power to a deactivated power station, but any instruments or machinery within will fail to work yet.

23 encounter electrical phenomena (e.g. lightning, exposed wiring, etc.) that reactivates/resurrects deactivated ultra beasts or "dead" pokemon.

24 encounter a crashed spacecraft that has been overwhelmed by xurkitree wiring; inside, thick black cords obscure rooms, stairs, and more.

25 involve the use of a temporary THUNDER CAGE (e.g. not the actual move) that can be adorned by natural phenomena or machinery to protect you against the elements.

26 involve the use of old, broken down megalopolan technology that is reminiscent of a tesla coil or faraday cage.

PROMPTS EXCLUSIVE TO THE 3RD EXPEDITION & ONWARD

27 involve a shard of a regieleki that has somehow found a way to dynamax due to a remnants of a power spot.

28 resolder the subterranean circuitry to activate, deactivate, power, or depower particular structures, power spots, or pokemon/ultra beasts above.

29 clear the xurkitree wiring in the crashed spacecraft, though the party will find they are active, dangerous and "alive". doing so will allow the party to explore the ship and the unfortunate fate of its crew.

30 hear haunting human-like or pokemon-like screams within the electrical currents of this world.

31 involve a segment where some or all of the party must swiftly or dexterously bypass an obstacle (animate or inanimate) that is electrified or unelectrified depending on the timing.

PROMPTS EXCLUSIVE TO THE 4TH EXPEDITION & ONWARD

32 attempt to repair a smaller megalopolan spacecraft. doing so successfully, will allow you to launch briefly; however, the frequent lightning storms will prevent you from flying for too long.

33 discover fulgurite, natural tubes or crusts of glass formed by the fusion of silica (quartz) sand or rock from a lightning strike. these stones act similarly to thunder stones.

34 encounter security machines or robots created in the likeness of megalopolans in their suits. these machines or robots are resilient and hostile, as if programmed to protect a perimeter that no longer exists. they repeat the word, "RECON" in a distorted digitized voice and are all seemingly left-handed.

35 allow a stakataka or xurkitree that you own to guide you safely through the realm, or have them encounter previous members of their kind that believe it to have betrayed them.

36 discover an ELECTRIUM Z-CRYSTAL in the wake of a particularly powerful lightning storm. the crystal will become that becomes permanently defunct after some time.

37 experience a sudden surge of ANTI-GRAVITY that forces you and your pokemon to the ground.

38 by discovering, hacking, tinkering or breaking megalopolan technology, machinery, spacecraft data, etc. discover the following information: "LOG 057: ᘺᕼᓰᖶᘿ ᕼᗩᓰᖇ... ᗩᕵᕵᘿᗩᖇᘿᕲ... Sᗩᓰᕲ... ᕼᘿᖇᘿ ᓍᖇᓰᘜᓰᘉ ᕵᓍᓰᘉᖶ... Sᕼᘿ... Sᘿᗩᖇᑢᕼᓰᘉᘜ... ᖶᓍᓍᖽᐸ ᕲᗩᖇᖽᐸ Sᖶᓍᘉᘿ".

39 use unusually low hanging lightning clouds as cover, though using such an endeavor is dangerous.

40 encounter a ZEKROM that seems to have been intentionally let loose into the realm; however, it has decided that this realm has LOST ITS RIGHTEOUSNESS and in doing so, has decided to annihilate it. battle the ZEKROM to prevent it from annihilating you and the realm temporarily.

41 using a repaired megalopolan spacecraft and/or pokemon, discover that the sky is false and has an endpoint. reaching the boundary means hitting an invisible barrier, similar to the invisible dome hoenn had been contained in before.

• Your character can only be in ONE EXPEDITION THREAD at a time.
• You may participate with all of your characters; however, be aware of your ability to post.
• If a thread partner has not posted in awhile, please skip them in this event. Momentum is important for engagement.
• If a thread begins to stagnate and show signs of stalling, please let shiv know immediately.
• Since these threads may feature combat, please be reasonable with your battling. Discuss with your group if you'd like one move per post, how many Pokemon are allowed to be brought, etc.
• Please be trusting and open to communicating with all of your thread partners.
• Please INCLUDE WHICH PROMPTS you are using in your expedition thread.
• Please have at least FIVE POSTS PER CHARACTER in your expedition thread.
• Wilds threads must have at least TWO CHARACTERS.
• Please indicate in MODERATION REQUESTS how many times the participating characters have completed a Wilds thread and how many times they've been to a particular area.
