[break][break] he tried not to be, considering the nature of this all, but it was hard not to be excited. had finally found some intel on where they were keeping — and it was the most hopeful thing that he had in months. ollie pushed up his sleeves to his elbows as he stood in front of the table in evergrande HQ.

[break][break] they'd booked out the board room, under the ruse of discussing the relations between rangers and the elite four.

[break][break] "so?" green lit eyes followed the new elite four. "what do you guys think?"

[break][break] he, and had gathered together. in front of them was paperwork, maps, and a mess of documents from plans that they had tried, failed, or otherwise. but damned if he was going to let that stop him.

[break][break] but ollie knew better than to act on his mistakes — he's already done so once, and he'd promised both and that he wouldn't.

[break][break] then his eyes shift towards . maybe was right; maybe matias wasn't all that bad. at the very least, he cared for . it was why they were all here, after all.

"we should stay quiet where we can, since matias will be making the distraction. but i doubt we'll be able to stay hidden for long, so we should be prepared for the worst."

Tensions were running high even before the prior disagreements between those in the room could be considered. Thankfully Anna was enough for them cooperate. Still, it showed in the way it was displaced as doubt in the others.

"Don't worry. I'm just here to do my part." The ranger wasn't invested like Greyson. He was only friends with her. Not to mention they'd fought just before she was taken. So if it wasn't her fault for being captured, then it was Derek who was to blame.

He is tired of feeling that way about everything. This is a chance to clean that slate. Afterward, he could finally rinse his hands clean of all this and get back to work.

"I was alone before. A gun held to her head. This time is different." While the others could waste time arguing the matter. Suggesting that now was worse, or that she was still a hostage—what mattered now was the mission. That they work as a team.

With Matias and Groudon acting as a distraction, the Rockets inside would have no idea what was going on. Any assessment they made, and the response that followed would not suffice.
