Maybe he’s just more accustomed to this place. Maybe his heart has dived too long in this fathomless sea. Either way, what feelings of fear and paranoia come, he beats down. Raising the stone, he cries out to his Garchomp.[break][break]
“Vortigern, give him hell” His black dragon explodes into pure, convalescent energy. When he takes form again amidst the light, his arms have melted into scythes. Within him is cold fury. This dragon is power given shape. Vortigern cries and sinks his scythe blades into the edges of the armor, tearing down.[break][break]
His jaw clenches around the monster’s throat. Before, his jaws were not enough. Now, they are stronger. Strong enough to crack the armor. Strong enough to dine upon what lays beneath that armor.[break][break]
“I never said killing Eternatus would be easy.” The Sheriff reflects, “but damn if I don’t wanna see what would happen if the League tried.” In the background, his black dragon rages. Its foe is held in place and that makes all the difference in the world. Tossing his spent foe back into the darkness, it clears a path through the mist.[break][break]

Sabrina does her job in aiding the other dragon take on its counterpart. Well semi-counterpart as it was half of the same pokemon and despite it being knocked back into the darkness the mental damage Eternitus seems to deal still puts it's toll on the young man. Feeling as phantoms of past guilt and deeds piling and making things heavier though he knows he wasn't raised a quitter. Had he'd been he would've been caught long ago with many of his lies. Though its the other's word's and attempt conversation that helps keep him grounded slightly. "As if the League isn't busy enough with all it's other issues," he comments back as there seems to be problem after problem. [break][break]

When they mention having to he need to get out fast Razz just nod his head in agreement, Blurr coming up beside him and practically forcing the Ranger to ride on him while he kept hold of what they were able to mine. "Keep fast but we need to make sure we don't lose anything, I rather not make coming here a waste"

“Got a strategy to keep the Nihilego off our back.” Navy says as he gets in the saddle. “Toss a few ore out along the way back. It’ll throw ‘em off our scent. Don’t know why it works, but it does. Trust me. Most of the time, I can sneak back later and pick them up.”[break][break]
He gives the head ranger a smile. Someone has to keep some humor about them in the middle of this hell. Inside, he’s terrified. Terror is heightened by paranoia. He hates this place. Hates what it does to him. Hates the intrusive thoughts that creep into his head.[break][break]
“Come on! Let’s ride! Won’t be long now and we’re outta here!” With the mist parting, Navy takes full advantage of the opening. Burning rubber, he rides through the far reaches of the dark abyss. Back to civilization, back to rational thought and sunlight.[break][break]
