Looking off the edge of the ticking clockwork chamber, Desiree could not help but bask in the distraction that was Navy's presence and grasp, enamored by the spots of luster dotting the oceanside landscape. She did not care if the two were indulging in comfortable silence- she had things she hadn't wished to muddy the waters of their first meeting with, and without the need to share with someone who had yet to pry, there was absolutely no desire to begin oversharing in that regard. In this region that was to her unknowingly ravaged with war and treachery, and with his strong feelings exhibited prior to their entrance to the chamber, she wanted to give him everything he deserved for such valiant efforts. If that was peaceful silence and a warm grasp, so be it.[break][break]

The pinkette would blush at his hum, looking up at the similar red blossoms that had sprouted upon his cheeks. "Come home with me, ♡" She'd give him a peck on the cheek following the dance of her smoke; it was not the most habitual experience of hers to invite those she'd just met to her treehouse sanctuary, but there was something about Navy that made her feel the need to know more. To experience more- he was just as charming as he was alluring and with nothing but the best intentions in her voice, Desiree was well aware that someone like him, someone who could find joy in the company of another without words, would be a blessing to accommodate.[break][break]

"The view of the forest from my stained-glass menagerie of an apartment won't compare to the view up here, but it comes close. ♡" She'd smile, flicking some of the accumulated ash at the tip of her cigarette off of the edge of the ride. "You're fascinating, Navy, in all the best of ways- you know that, don't you?"[break][break]

Navy's direction led her eyes across the dimly painted decalcomania of the horizon's setting light, all the way to the beach house that he had called his home. The beach houses she'd hit all the way back in the outskirts of Geosenge Town those years ago; it was a nostalgic sight to see, even if they were vastly different in architecture. All she wanted was to give in to the moment and spontaneous feelings of it all, to dive in head first to his reciprocation. Her golden gaze felt as if it would flicker in that delight, meeting his eyes as the ground got closer and closer over the edge of the chamber.[break][break]

"Let's go there, then. ♡" She'd smile, taking his hand and following his footsteps out. Above all else, Desiree wanted him at this moment- more than the cigarette in her lips, more than to give two shits about anyone that may have snapped a picture. That feeling of intimate vulnerability was always an alluring feat, and above all else, it was certainly proving one of the most efficient ways of learning about others in this foreign land. Even if it were to only last a night.[break][break]

She didn't know what to expect when it came to the days, weeks, and months that would follow, but the butterflies in her stomach cast all of those thoughts into the clouds. All she wanted was him, and with that was all of her focus.
