Having taken a moment to get ready for their next match, Yuina and Daikenki moved along the walkways to find their next field for their next match up. To her surprise, and delight, Yuina saw a familiar figure up the way. It was so good to see so many friends here.[break][break]

There were a lot of people that were friends she knows and since she steps into the arena, a familiar female presence calls out to her. Someone that she knew from their first trip to the mall and that they solved a murder case at a manor. “Hello Yuina, it’s very nice to see you again.” She gives the other woman a smile when Yuina gets closer to greet her. “I do hope we can have fun with each other. No hard feelings if you or I end up losing this match.”[break][break]

Her boss being there too made for a good way to see how he was doing after this battle. Josh himself was one of the capable battlers in his gym and he was a better sword to defend Hoenn with his Pokemon. If he was watching this, she’ll have to impress him too.

Taking her place on the side of the battle field, Yuina smiled at Elise as she accepted their next match together. It was sure to be a great time, and there were no hard feelings no matter the outcome![break]
"Of course Elise, the outcome is all for sport. I can't wait to see what happens," Yuina encouraged, hoping that they could have fun together![break][break]
Yuina sent Daikenki forward, and she tapped the orb at her belt to take on the Electric Tera that Daikenki was capable of, and he shimmered in a golden light as he rushed forward with his seamitars bared. He moved to strike, his swords coated in a dark energy, aimed for a Ceaseless Edge for his opponent.

A smile came on the ambassador’s face when Yuina spoke of wanting to see what happens in the outcome. “And I very much agree with wanting to see how it turns out.” As soon as Elise responds to her fellow senior ranger, Yuina’s Hisuian Samurott responds to the other woman’s glow of her Tera Orb which changes the water type’s Tera Type to Electric. A Ceaseless Edge from the glowing seal Pokemon came to try to slash at the Mismagius.[break][break]

Nevertheless, Elise has the same kind of gimmick to counter a move like this.[break][break]

Tapping onto her own Tera Orb onto her belt, the Mismagius’ Tera Type changes to the Fairy Tera Type. Mana lets the darkened swords slash at her with a smug grin on her face and weathers the swords’ slashes with a grimace. Floating up to the air, the purple phantasmal witch cackles as she fires a sphere of dark crackling energy at the Samurott with the Electric Tera crown, the Shadow Ball tries to take its first hit too.[break][break]

In a show of glittering pink crystal, Elise's ghost took on a tera form as well, combating Daikenki's strike, and as the ghost unleashed a Shadow Ball at the close contact, it forced the Samurott back, sliding against the ground.[break][break]
"Daikenki, Razor Shell," Yuina called, urging the water type forward again, and he barked at rushing forward with his blades poised. Leaping into the air, getting within melee range again, the Samurott bore down on the ghost with his blades coated in shimmering water for a Razor Shell strike.

Looking towards the Hisuian Samurott changing its tactic, Mana floats to the right side of the Samurott as it tried to use Razor Shell to cut across her. Glittering pink sparkles drop behind the crowned Mismagius as she lets out a little laugh, but not in a mean-spirited way. The way that the ghost laughed was that she was having fun with the Samurott over battling even if she did want to get the win for the ambassador. [break][break]

The ghost witch launched an Energy Ball towards the Hisuian Samurott. The green ball of energy sails through the air and would attempt to strike at the electric tera crowned seal if it didn’t dodge this move.[break][break]

The ghost was proving a difficult opponent, they hadn't managed to land a single clear strike as it lofted around the battlefield. The energy ball that it sent forward rushed through the air and struck against Daikenki's shimmering yellow energy, and the Samurott barked at being laughed at in essence.[break]
Rushing with his blades again, slashing them along the ground in a Swords Dance to sharpen their blow, Daikenki lunged for the ghost and spun through the air, aiming to land an Aerial Ace strike against its glittering pink frame.

Mana’s smirk grows a little wide when her attack hits the Hisuian Samurott and it appeared that she was getting the upper hand. Red eyes from the ghost watch the swords in the Samurott’s two flippers Swords Dance like they were gearing up to fight in the final match of the edge of making a comeback. “Good job, Mana. Now, finish this off with Mystical Fire.” A nod came from the floating ghostly witch as she launches her potentially final attack.[break][break]

In front of the ghost, the ring of blue fire shoots out a gout of scorching blue flames where the Mystical Fire tries to cinch their win against Yuina’s Hisuian Samurott before she gets hit by the Samurott's Aerial Ace![break][break]

Just when it seemed that the battle was about to surmise, Daikenki's swift attacks get in close enough on the ghost to land a strike, turning the tides of the battle, but only just. The Mystical Fire narrowly misses and the Samurott is free to take his aim, prepared to land another mark.[break][break]
"You and Mana work really well together Elise, I'm glad we had this opportunity," Yuina nodded, she was getting the chance to have fun with so many of her friends here in the tournament, battling them for the sportsmanship when otherwise, there was no reason to engage in battle with them.[break]
Daikenki barked, rushing to close the gap once more to try and keep their hand in play, slashing with Razor Shell.

Close and not enough. Mana’s red eyes narrow when her potentially finishing Mystical Fire attack narrowly misses the Hisuian Samurott. “Thank you, we’ve worked together in the Johto gym challenge before I had to leave for Hoenn. You and your Hisuian Samurott worked well too, I’m glad we can have this battle together.” Elise replied to Yuina with a smile since she had seen Yuina’s Hisuian Samurott follow its trainer’s commands with ease.[break][break]

The Razor Shell comes from the Hisuian Samurott and the ghost attempts to create distance with another gout of Mystical Fire. Blue flames from the ring of fire would try to complete what she had started on the match.[break][break]

The match was down to the final set, the vital equipment showed each Pokemon down at 1 point each, and anything could happen. Yuina watched Daikenki narrowly avoid getting scorched by the magical flames the first time, but the Mismagius wasn't letting up as it released another set of burning fire that lashed out across the battlefield.[break]
Daikenki hissed as the flames encroached, slashing through them with his seamitars, working to get to a point where he could lunge and meet the ghost once more with a final strike, a Razor Shell working through the flames.

The match had been really close with the total on Elise’s Vital Gear showing that they both have 1 HP each for each of their Pokemon. Her Mismagius watches the Hisuian Samurott attempt its final Razor Shell as the attack would work through the flames. Mana knows what to do, she floats up as she watched the Samurott slash through the fire and cackled. The three red jewels on the chest of the ghost glow red as she creates another ring of blue fire.[break][break]

And that fiery ring releases another Mystical Fire towards the Hisuian Samurott. Blue fire tries to finish off the other Pokemon that she wasn’t able to in the last round.[break][break]

The ghost's magical flames were just enough that Daikenki couldn't break through the burning force, and as the flames and smoke dissipated, the match was called for Elise's victory. Yuina smiled, calling Daikenki back towards her as his Tera energy faded from his frame, revealing his smooth blue fur beneath, scorched and marred by ash.[break]
"That was a good match Elise, I'm glad we got to do that it was a lot of fun," Yuina smiled, what an opportunity, and what a close match! Elise and her Mismagius really did some great work together.
