It's crazy to think what happened in such a short span of time since Cass' last visit, but then again .... it's not like she hasn't lived right by life changing horrors and worried more about a possible surprise test the next morning. And it's in fact school work bringing her right here again - sketching the Icelands, and then ... proceeding to the Giant Chasm. She has no idea why a swarm of Smeargles have found themselves here, but it's at a convenient timing for her, certainly, as she can combine trying to catch a pokémon with her assignment.

She finds a good spot to sit on her camping chair, her Cufant next to her, surveying the area that she lived it before. "All new, huh?" Cass remarks with a faint smile, then proceeds to sketch the scenery in front of her. Her hopes are as follows: attracting a Smeargle with her own drawing, at least the action of it. She knows that she's no Piccasso nor Monet, so she wouldn't necessarily impress anyone - but maybe it'd be enough to attract one's attention long enough?

While he was no PICASSO, Tai Liu had an appreciation for the fine arts. The art that SMERAGLE create was no exception. Some of these Pokemon had real talent, while others mere scribbles were simply endearing to watch be made. Seems like these ones are more powerful than the rest, too. He’s heard they’ve been causing quite the commotion. Hopefully, the officer can observe these Pokemon instead of being sent as damage control.[break][break]

Ettie didn't know much about folks such as Van Gogh; but she was no stranger to the concept of art, partially thanks to the sheer fact that she was no stranger to Smeargles!

Hearing about this pack in such a cold place, Ettie is curious - she wants to meet them, and see if she can make more friends! It'd be fun, wouldn't it?

Thus, with Anne, Yip, and co in tow, she carefully descends into the crevice - ready to mingle with other canid pokemon.

Smeargles were whipping their tails around and creating a pollock painting. Robin had never seen so many congregate at once, but she was slowly wrapping her head around these odd occurrences in Hoenn. She snapped a picture of the scene for a keepsake. She kept thinking they would fling ink at each other like some sort of food fight, but they seemed more focused on creating an abstract masterpiece of the environment. She wasn't all that artsy herself, favoring paper crafts to anything as messy as paint, but. They also seemed to be having fun. Maybe she could try fingerpainting sometime.

She moved closer with a pokeball at the ready to try and call one her own.

Returning to the site of Kyurem’s havoc seems like a risk in and of itself. But curiosity about the wide, yawning chasm wins out and Lam is drawn there—if only to see if the resonant power glowing from a rainbow of tera crystals bears any similarity to the power spot back in Lilycove. Or so he tells himself in order to convince himself that he’s not out here running fool’s errands. The smeargle swarm is a curious sight to run into, and Peaches watches with a tilted head as the mass of pokemon paint a myriad of moves (or make the attempt) in broad brushstrokes that have a scattered rhyme or reason, like the strange angles and shapes of a Picasso painting. [break][break]

“Strange..” his brows furrow as a symbol materializes before one of the smeargle, just in view. He doesn’t recognize it, but it’s strange all the same. Silently, he wonders if one of Naomi Sato’s unown are watching. It screams like something that would be up The Visionary’s alley. “Think we can snag one?” Lam asks his companion as he brandishes a pokeball. Psssyyy comes Peaches’ doubtful reply, though he aims for the particular smeargle he’d noticed anyway.
