After the book club’s recent meeting last week, the Galarian ambassador would always find her way back to the bookstore in Slateport’s upper district. Book discussion at the cub were her favorite since she had been introduced to one a year ago. Her favorite section had high fantasy stories that were set in Galar and the series of the Matter of Galar all in several volumes of books. She’ll find that section in no time when the diplomat enters the bookstore with her Comfey and the rabbit king with his bulbous crown.[break][break]

There were so many books to buy from that section, but she wanted to pick something that could get her Calyrex interested. To alleviate the indecisiveness, Elise lets her Calyrex pick whatever he wanted when the king floats up to take a book on the story of the Green Knight. Psychic energy opens the book as he flips through one page and the next, the king appeared to be a little lost in that story.

While the diplomat is a bit indecisive over what other books to buy for reading to the shard legendary, the appearance of a familiar man who reached over to take a book from the shelf makes for a good surprise. Along with the Sprigatito that is on the man’s shoulder, her Comfey greets the little grass kitten. The reaction from the man over Elise’s Comfey would have her think that he’s a fan of the species too.[break][break]

“Oh yes, I am a fan of Comfey.” A smile came onto the royal ambassador's face when she replies to his question. “I heard that they were used in hospitals, so…I’d done my research and wanted to use one for my medical training when I’m off from having to do my full time job.” [break][break]

At least, Comfey were used a lot in treating the wounded than the other healer Pokemon, but she liked having her shiny Indeedee around to heal people too.

“They are incredible, yes.” The diplomat smiles when the dark-haired man talks about the species of Comfey. She had seen some nurses in Pokemon Centers use them before, but most of the other Pokemon like Audino were also good medics. When the shard finishes pouring through a bit on the Green Knight, psychic powers from the King hand the book over to the ambassador.[break][break]

Focusing on the man who introduced his name, she shakes his hand and gives her name in turn too. “It’s very nice to meet you, Greyson. My name is Elise.” Maybe it was from the advice of Sheriff Navidson that she wouldn’t give out more than her first name since he worries about her like a little sibling figure.

A little laugh comes from the Meowscarada that accompanies the man while her Comfey returns with another book from the fiction on Galar aisle. “Thank you, Fina.” Shifting the story of the Green Knight over to her other arm and holding the other book with one hand, the diplomat hears Greyson ask what series was she looking at. “It’s a collection series of the Matter of Galar, so there’s different stories on the knights of King Lucius’ round table and the king himself.” Elise answers with a little nod.[break][break]

Elise wonders if he’s interested in the collection himself. “Were you looking for books on that?” She asks a little curiously since she had seen him reach for one of the books before he got distracted by her Comfey. [break][break]

The ambassador surely doesn’t know much of the Black Knight itself other than the hazy memories of the other ‘Galar’. She only remembers the pieces that the peasants told her, but maybe the information was lost in the memories of being in that dreamscape. Still, she doesn’t know if the legendary creature was from her country or not.[break][break]

“I can’t say that I know much on Necrozma itself, but…” Thoughts turn to the events of the Darkest Day, a terrible reminder that Galar was still recovering from some years later after it happened. “My elder cousin probably believes that it might be responsible for the events of Galar’s Darkest Day.”[break][break]

Even right now, the Prime Minister has promised to help the nation recover from the disaster. Others wonder why the Galarian royals here were in Hoenn than to help their country, maybe she would be categorized as a traitor to her country if their people’s assumptions were believed..
