It's certainly a strange experience, to be wandering Sootopolis during this time; the sun shining unusually bright, yet the air also smelling of ozone. Alongside many other Rocket grunts, they are working to set up a few solar panels on the roof of the apartment complex they live in - a few pokemon working hard alongside them.

And if one of their pokemon ends up picking up a strange new move from this, well... There was only so much they could do about that. It was far from the first time this sort of thing has happened, for sure. If there was any sort of draconic spirit to be found in the aspiring Ryuko, it was certainly being affected by all of this.

Ettie perks up, as she sees a pair of League officials hauling weird electronic stuff down one of the winding paths into the Giant Chasm. Having come here along side Apex, she had intended to simply see if she could find him a buddy - but the strange weather here, it had really caught her eye, honestly!

Eager to lend a helping hand though, the pack escorts the officials along; wondering what all that weird stuff was for as she went. Even if the sunlight has curious effects, upon her own pokemon.

"Phew... Think that's the last of them." And thank goodness for that. Even with the unnatural weather and static in the air, the Silent Icelands was no less cold. El was bundled up thick and tight, and so were their pokemon, as they all worked together to get the power array set up. Hopefully, this would be worth it...

... Though, even if this phenomenon passes quick, it certainly would leave its mark on one of their number.

the dust has already settled for the coldest part of the region, but a disturbance stirs it back to relevancy.

entei stands amid the cold, flames naturally melting the frost on the ground while the remnants of kyurem's onslaught remains frozen solid. even the residual heat from both the incinerating sun and electrifying terrain mark nothing but a destabilization of the norm.

the volcano pokemon follows the trail until it reaches the giant chasm. it was where everything originates, and it will be an inevitability that consumes the region.

entei lowers its head, entering the area.

a messenger without its avatar was nothing but a bystander of a war.

it traverses through the land of imagination manifest-- an area of paradoxical conclusions where the embodiment of the passion of magma chooses a person who does not represent such values and ultimately finding him the best candidate.

intense emotions might die out, but dreams carry out its will from its ashes.

A PSYCHIC BARRIER is the only buffer protecting MEWTWO from its opponent. it levitates in place, unharmed as the PARADOX POKEMON rams headfirst, colliding with the physical manifestation of PSYCHIC energies, unable to break through.

the constant spawning of pokemon into AREA ZERO proves the perfect training ground. however, that’s an unintended consequence of the pokemon’s innate desire. for it is here to sample and encounter pokemon it has never seen before. to its chagrin, they disappear upon being dispatched, fading away, rescinded by a cruel twist of fate.

its tail swishes in annoyance as it channels a PSYCHIC blast.

it ignores the ELECTRICAL TERRAIN erupting from underneath, much too ignorant to understand its significance.
