Alec had heard the rumors of someone pulling out the sword and gaining control of the Pugilis Kingdom. To think by being able to pull out the sword, would grant one such power in the game. It made the demon crave the same thing. He had not died over and over again for nothing, and he would prove it. He had decided to make it his goal to be the other person who would pull the sword out of that stone. Sure, there may have been others that the same belief, however Alec had a score to settle with that same man. He made sure to not fall behind. No - will most certainly not![break][break]

He walked back up towards the newly spawned sword that was lodged in the stone and simply said, "Give me what I seek." He was not irritated or annoyed. Instead, the Demon mage had seemed to find his resolve at that very moment. Sure, he had a chance of failing, but he would always be able to try again until he was truly worthy of the same power and crush those that would oppose him, whether it was the man who was titled the first king, or anyone else for that matter. After hearing that someone had managed to be crowned King of Pugilis after managing to remove the sword from the stone, Orion takes the whole thing a little more seriously during his next approach. Honestly, he'd just been trying before to see if he could.[break][break]

"Fuck it, I'm getting kingship!", Rikiya muttered, as he waited his turn in line again. Just like every other day, the people in line before him tried and failed to free the Honedge from the stone it was embedded in. Every person was just another soul sucked into the blade, for whatever purpose, if there was any. Though the effort was 'free' he couldn't help but question if it would be worth it. Still, it seemed like such a brutally slim chance to actually pull the stupid thing.

As he waited in line, he reflected on how yesterday's winner became ruler of one of the kingdoms. He had to wonder if the next winner would get a crown as well, or if second place was gonna suck.

In any case, once it was Rikiya's turn, he made his attempt at the embedded sword.

So someone had done it. Someone had actually pulled that stupid sword from the stone. She was surprised, Antoinette really thought that maybe the even was rigged. It was clear as day for anyone now to see that it was in fact possible to win. Taking a deep breath she went up to the sword. Multiple people could win and she was still aiming to be one of them.
