WHILE THE MAJORITY OF SLATEPORT has fun in the sun, a gang obstagoon begin to profilerate in the streets. the lower district is suddenly smothered in monochrome obstagoon that obstruct paths to the beach. those who attempt to pass through will be met with a staggering chorus of screaming. with vocal chords of steel, they have claimed this part of the city to be theirs.[break][break]

Lucas Lane was walking his three anoriths when he encountered the gang. As soon as the prehistoric pokemon noticed them they pulled at their geodude themed leashes. Lucas stumbled forward as they surged on a zigzagoon.

Two of the anoriths threw themselves against its matted body. The third channeled an ancient power to heave igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks at the zigzagoon.

[attr="class","giada i"]"so, like, you guys a band or something?" she blinks at the obstagoon, all lined up like they're ready to join the black parade. and really, they'd probably give gerard way a run for his fucking money with that eyeliner. damn, a mood. anyway, like machines, they remain unmoving and unblinking.

"i'm down to be a groupie, you know," she drawls as if that'll make them magically move out of her way. it doesn't but worth a shot, right? and maybe she should be using force but when has she ever actually put effort into anything? never, that's when. her head tilts as more people join the streets and start shouting for the obstagoons to move. laughter comes easily and the snide remark she makes to some stranger when he yells for her to move too comes even easier.

"i'm made of wax, larry, what are you made of?" she'll turn and face the crowd like the obstagoon, arms crossing defiantly over her chest as she sticks out like a sore thumb. blonde and red with black and white, joining the ranks or the black parade. both, thanks.

this is definitely more fun than she's had all week and definitely just an excuse to adrenalize herself but damn, if the looks on their faces isn't hysterical. poor blokes.

"what the fuck," dominic mutters under his breath as the swarm of pokemon surge through the streets. their screeching vocals may pierce the eardrums of a lesser man, but dominic's experiences have long since left him with permanent hearing damage.

he ducks into an alleyway to watch the obstagoon and their progeny parade down the streets like horde of happy children. were an opportunity to arise he may toss a pokeball - or he may not, dominic isn't sure he could handle all the yelling on a constant basis.

valerio has been living for months now in his own rented apartment at slateport and obstagoons and zigzagoons do not usually frequent this part of the town. why these pesky creature decides to do so is something even him doesn’t know what to answer. while he hums into their bickering of a song, it seems as if the neighborhood does not appreciate their art. “well, at least you have one fan now.” he tells one obstagoon as he reaches for a pokéball to attempt to capture one.[break][break]

Eleanor was enjoying the city, minding her own business when a gang of pokemon appeared. At first, the young woman didn’t know what to think as she eyed their leader. She giggled. “Look Rue!” The woman pointed to the blue and pink colored pokemon that stood in front of them rest, “It’s so cute! “ However, her excitement to see a pink pokemon quickly fainted as the THE ENEMY started to be destructive and cause trouble. Panicking, the woman fled with the rest of the crowd in hopes to find shelter before they got to her. Seeing a ally up ahead, the woman darted in there and peeked around the corner. Sapphire eyes widen at the sight of the leader, kind of wanting to catch it but was too nervous too. Should she brave the gang and try to catch the shiny pokemon?

As Oscar tried to get to the beach, these haughty rock star hooligans blocked his path. Oscar twitched as he tried to get around them, his every move blocked by these intrusive brutes. Eventually they got fed up by Oscar's persistence and began to scream with rage. These screeches would make most citizens run to the hills, but not this Rocket.

Oscar pulled out a pokeball and released Puffnstuff the Hydreigon. Puff heard the screeching and immediately joined in with Hyper Voice. This blast of cacophonous horror sent the goons scrambling for their mamas. As they scurried about, Oscar was sure to throw a pokeball as he passed. Maybe it'll hit something, or maybe it'll just fall into a gutter.

Normally Arashi would stay as far away as he could from overcrowded city streets, but the unnaturally loud screaming of… okay, while they weren’t big Pokémon per se, they were definitely strong-looking Pokémon.

Looking through his ‘borrowed’ PokéGear (which he had actually pilfered from someone who had just… left it in plain sight) it took him next to no time to tinker around with the settings and get the thing re-registered under his name.

Well, when you were poor you did what you had to.

After he had uploaded all the information he had about the Pokémon he had with him so far, he attempted to get information on the… on the caterwauling Pokémon that was causing a massive racket.

“Oh, shut up,” he grumbled as he tried to block out the loud, dissonant screeching that the Obstagoon were causing. Initially, he thought of them as strong Pokémon, but now he wanted to rewrite his opinion about them—

“Yeesh,” he added a few moments later as he pulled out a Pokéball and took aim at the crowd, flinging it like a baseball.

Their chorus was so beautiful, like the revving of engines and the rolling of coal from a symphony of pick up trucks. Caius was enamored with the grace the black and white Pokemon were showing to this derelict, uncultured area. Perhaps if he caught one it could teach them how to steel his vocal chords with such vigor and POWER.

kaz strummed the imaginary guitar alongside the obstagoon as the duo rocked out along the side of the road. throughout his travels kaz had managed to pick up on an important lesson: its best to live and learn from one's mistakes handling pokemon so when a whole swarm of them come out to party and rock then it was better to joint hem than beat them. "Are you ready slateport! tonight we're gonna give ya a show you'll never forget!" teh blonde screamed out as he chest bumped with one of the other obstagoons and silently took out a pokeball and tossed it into the air, the pokemon too distracted to realize what it was as they cheered kaz on like he was doing some kind of performance bit. if he was lucky however he would be able to catch one of these cool looking pokemon to call his own.[break][break]

Slateport had never quite been his thing. His pale skin burned too easily, and the last thing he needed was his gengar getting his yucks by slapping his sunburn. None the less, since he was passing through he figured he would peak in along the famous bazaar in the lower districts, do a little window shopping. The place was said to have all manor of exotic items. Too bad he had little taste for the exotic.

A commotion drawing his attention, he actually saw something he didn't. A rowdy 'goon swam flowing through the streets like a plague of locusts. stulloona sat on quade's head, holding onto their hair as they sauntered, swaying slightly, down the street. the sound of distance screeching was getting louder, breaking the otherwise calm in the still of the night. quade came to a stop as they saw a lone obstagoon, standing with it's head turned up in the cool moonlight just basking. quade glanced up as stulloona shifted, tittering angrily.

"okay okay, go get 'em."

she popped up, flapping away as she flew over and circled it's head, the pokemon releasing a startled bark and batting at her. quade's lips quirked as they pulled out a pokeball and tossed it at the obstagoon. how cool would it be to rock out with it?
