he'd been kind of checked out through the entire thing. well, at least he was pretending to be checked out a little bit. the more he heard and the less he spoke meant that there were plenty of people who would absolutely think he was just an airhead to not pay any mind to. and he liked it like that. especially since he was technically in the lion's den.

"melody if they shave your head we can just get you a pretty wig, and then the wig can be different sorts of colors." he nibbled on a carrot stick, one of the few vegetables that happened to be within his reach. he wasn't vegetarian or vegan but he always did have an issue with body image. and right now he felt fat and gross and while he knew he wasn't he couldn't switch his brain off. it fucking sucked.

the idea of an outing stuck out in his mind though. "how do we decide what sort of outing it is though?" he had a couple ideas of who he could sponsor to come into the tournament. his new friend Miles Sharp came to mind or maybe even Chu-e Choi ... but he wasn't sure if either of them would want to... or maybe even Cillian Quinn would have fun doing it. just so long as the person he had in the front was someone he could trust to be strong. "i want to go to an amusement park." and if he was stuck planning the outing then he absolutely would bully that forward.

gross gross gross gross. there was trash everywhere now and some of it was wiggling and moving and this was the absolute worst. but he wasn't going to let that stop him. he was just going to have to take a long hot shower after this and let his pokemon get wiped down by a grunt. after all sourball had been playing around in the garbage and he really didn't want to deal with that. unfortunately another competitor was about to get smacked in the face with a particularly nasty piece of garbage. while that would have been funny he wasn't really sure a gym leader should let that happen. at least not if he could prevent it. "joycon! recycle!" not normally used on garbage and trash that was filled with venom and poison it was still something he figured would work well. the porygon concentrated on the garbage flying towards Alexei Ivanov transforming it into a much cleaner version of itself and in some cases, much less rotten. it wouldn't stop it entirely but that was what the second part of this was for.

"sourball! catch it!" quickly sourball began rolling forward, the force of his rolling causing the dumpster to begin to move as well until it tokyo drifted in front of alexei in order to try and capture the trubbish inside of it once again. the containment would maybe make it to where someone didn't end up vomiting on the stranger. it was helpful to have a pokemon that was simply, just a ball. if only they could keep from more pokemon getting out of it. but there wasn't much he could do while sourball continued to drive the dumpster around the field like a madman. glitch might have forgotten that it couldn't see from inside of it... oops.

he really didn't care what this guy had to say. in one ear and out the other since glitch was here for a purpose, getting new pokemon for his team. other than that he didn't really care. and while he focused on the pink jigglypuff glitch was much more concerned with the little dinosaur eating some of the grass growing on a rock. much more important to him as he leaned down and rolled a pokeball towards it, tapping the sheildon gently. "i guess everyone has different views." but again, he hadn't been listening.

uh-oh, that didn't look good. but nothing could go wrong when you had a porygon with agility. after all that was one of the biggest reasons he had taught the move to the little thing. move speed was important when you had shit to do and shit to save. "move him joycon!" the porygon beeped loudly, zooming towards the elderly man and with a strength that only a machine could have used his inclined nose to scoop up the elderly man and move him out of harms way. it wasn't the nicest way or the neatest way but at least he wouldn't be crushed like a little pancake if he was moved out of the way.

sourball noticed fortunately that there was something else for him to do other than sit and pretend to be a ball. after all, dumpsters were made of metal and he could use electricity. it was 1 + 1 = 2 here. a zap of electric power would help to calm that massive grimmsnarl down as he rolled towards it. collecting trash with his rising electricity as he rolled up into the air he went, slamming down into the trash can with the trash he had gathered and letting off a discharge to release the trash and zap the dumpster in order to calm the grimmsnarl down just a little bit.

glitch was bored. being on his best behavior meant that he had to be quiet a lot of the time because his mouth definitely couldn't be trusted. so of course, being quiet meant that he began to wander around a bit. so of course he didn't hear a word anyone said or what anyone was doing. plus him wandering around meant that he wasn't going to be tempted to say something that would give him away as rocket. but when he saw some shimmery metal goo on the ground wiggling with a little... metal head... he wondered if that was what they were looking for. lifting it up he giggled a little as it wiggled in his hands and carried it back over to the group. "it feels weird, is this what we're looking for?" he wiggled it more in his hands while holding the meltan up in the air.

it was bigger than he expected it to be wound wise, and he wasn't sure if one of his cute band-aids would really fit it. but luckily c.c. was here and she had a trick up her uh... sleeve? "c.c. will you take a look at it? she knows life dew and if you're going to be walking around like that you're gonna get tetanus or something on this sub." the hatterene offered her strange hand to gavin. if he took it then she would use life dew on his arm to get rid of the cut quickly. a lot more quickly than could be done naturally after all. "oh! he's one of hello skitties friends!" he dug out his phone and held up a picture of the strange anthropomorphic poliwag creature. that totally wasn't a keroppi.  "it's one of my favorites really. so i use them the most." gavin was going to get an education on the small creatures one way or another.

c.c. shifted the bag around a little bit as miles handed it over so that she could judge the weight. chittering and humming a little bit she went to a corner of the room and began picking out her supplies from a basket glitch had brought for her. "she'll have it fixed up in no time and we can just drop it off at your room when it's done!" it would be good for him to get around to moving around the dorms a bit more anyways. there were tons of grunts he still had to meet and greet and he was fine with it. so long as they didn't get too uppity about it all.

"i hope we do, after all, if you can't make friends around here you don't last very long. connections are important, remember that... oh, and watch out for emma wolfe, she's a bitch." and would snap a neck faster than you could say ow. but that wasn't important to tell him right now. all he wanted to do was warn miles that there were some snakes on this submarine.

he was glad that she could appreciate the fact that he worked hard on the design. it was one of his favorite things to do was make things cute and functional. that meant that he wasn't taken seriously most of the time which was fine with him. if he played the dumbass then people were generally more forgiving if he made "mistakes" to get them to lower their guard around him. but part of him was also glad that lulu saw that he was actually extremely useful. "as soon as i get the information i'll send it your way. though if they can get their hands on this many rotom i'd want to know where they came from." after all he could use one of the little electric weirdos for his work. even if they were tiny. he recalled sprite back to it's pokeball when it came out but joycon settled into his bag once more where it usually was. he'd download the information from them later on when he was back in his dorm room. "i'll see you around then ma'am. let me know if you need any more of my porygons for work." with that he gave a small and cute wave as he turned on a heel and headed back to his room to decompress and let his porygons rest and recharge.
