"My own stylist is practically useless. I hardly ever use one myself unless it's for an enormous event. I'd rather choose my own outfits and do my own makeup or hair. I know what I like, and the ones I've used have failed to see that vision."[break][break]

Truth be told, Summer would rarely ever give them a chance. A simple preview of an outfit or a look would send her into a fit, and then she'd find herself down one more person in her party.[break][break]

"MOLTRES..." Summer echoed, looking ahead with a rather blank expression. "He believes he can gain favor of a legendary Pokemon that easily?"[break][break]

Even someone as haughty and egotistical as her wouldn't dare do that. She was no fool. Summer would rather preserve her pride and her life than to go into the lair of a beast of legend and go up in flame.[break][break]

"Thus the order to hunt down anyone leaving or having the thought of leaving," she echoed, kicking a rock out of her way as they trekked the mountain. "Do we really have so many coming to our ranks who think Rocket is a game to play?"[break][break]

Perhaps she was showing her true involvement with the grunts there. Summer was focused more on the business side of things, selling illegal items and arms to her colleagues and to the black market rather than training the new generation.[break][break]

"So we find this grunt. And then we interrogate him?"

Much to her surprise, Magnus's face was still pleased, that shit eating grin ever present on his face. Summer couldn't help but wonder if he was into this sort of thing. Men with high sexual libido were usually freaks of nature, after all.[break][break]

He fit the bill perfectly, in her mind.[break][break]

"Are you sure? I'm pretty sure you're the exact opposite of where you want to be, Magnus," Summer said, her voice oozing fake sweetness as she leaned over him to murmur in his ear.[break][break]

"You know, I typically am not in the mood for 'Poundtown' when someone tries to go through my things. Especially my personal belongings. You've made me very angry today, Magnus. So, beg for me to let you go before I decide to kill you right here and now," Summer said, voice dripping poison.[break][break]

Her ABSOL remained still, watching the two HOUNDOOM with a level gaze. However, she wasn't alone. Soon enough, Summer's EMBOAR came stomping down the hall, coming back from a security check on the other side of the building. He billowed hot flames, grunting dangerously as he stood in the doorway.

Summer's partner grew very quiet. "Hello? What are you doing over there?" she called, twisting awkwardly in her chair. But there was not much available movement in the skin tight flipper encasing her legs. A heaving sigh left her lips, at least until she heard water.[break][break]

"The hell —"[break][break]

The door to her room opened, and she spotted Isaac beginning to drift by on a wash created by his WISHIWASHI. Honestly? It was ridiculous. But, there really wasn't a better option for either of them besides trying to hobble to the stage.[break][break]

Summer released her VAPOREON, who was all too excited to dunk into the water as well. She slipped in, her skin raising with goosebumps as she paddled her way over. Thankfully, the tail was easier to use to swim than she could imagine walking in.[break][break]

"I think this idiotic, but I suppose you have a point. Let's release our team to get the mission started and then get to the stage."[break][break]

She took her other five balls, releasing each of her Pokemon one by one. Reiterating the plan, she crossed her arms with a nod. "I think they're ready. Let's go."

So this Great King didn't know how things were in their universe. Summer knew that the possibility was there, but it still left her disappointed. Her mind began to wander for a moment. Her friends, her family... Gunner Graves. Were they all safe in Hoenn? Did anyone realize that she was gone?[break][break]

Of course, she didn't realize that Gunner Graves was on the same battlefield she stood on mere yards away.[break][break]

Her head jerked up. "Months? What do you mean, months?" Summer spat out. "We can't be stuck here forever!"[break][break]

The only way out was to bring ZACIAN back, and the only time they had was their lives? Fuck. Fuck! Summer glared at the CALYREX before storming off, not hearing any of the other questions it answered. There she sat, cooling her head until it was time to leave for Circhester.[break][break]

The Circhester Summer knew was beautiful and snowy. It was full of life and beauty, with children playing in the snow while adults enjoyed their time about in cafes or shopping. There was ash to replace the snow. The city itself looked like a corpse of itself. It made her stomach churn as she looked around, the citizens there appearing the complete opposite of how she remembered.[break][break]

With a small scoff, she stepped away, trying to figure out what to do first. Luckily, Naomi Sato came into her comms to guide her. Listening, she nodded to herself before responding. "Copy. I'm on my way to meet you."[break][break]

Summer made quick strides to the bath, catching site of the Rocket scientist and her TOGEKISS there. The telltale signs of terastallization on the Pokemon glimmered in the dull light as she nodded to Nomi. "I'm here to assist."[break][break]

She released her ABSOL. "Frigg, charge FUTURE SIGHT. Attack the toxins when ready." With a small bark, her Pokemon began to focus her energy onto the toxins, building up her power before releasing the psychic energy to the toxic build up before them.

With a bit of luck, Frigg brought her toward the statue where a group of people stood. However, the closer they approached, the more anxiety gnawed a pit in her stomach. Summer's status was publicly aligned to the league. But with so much Rocket allies about, she wondered if this was a good idea after all.[break][break]

She attempted to blend in with the crowd, the ABSOL reuniting her with Eris Halla. She shot her a look of disapproval.[break][break]

"What are you doing here, Eris?" Summer hissed, trying to lower her voice to keep the conversation between them. "You shouldn't be here."[break][break]

Perhaps she was in the wrong to try and scold her. She shouldn't be here either. But she had to hold up her duty for team Rocket. Sighing, her hand rubbed between her eyes to relieve herself of an oncoming migraine.[break][break]

That disappeared as a strange creature appeared before the group. With a shocking force, Summer took a step back as four of the individuals in the group were pulled up, their mouths moving as a voice for this thing. The HIGH KING OF GALAR...[break][break]

Summer looked quickly over at Remiel Calcifet, her eyes wide as he spoke. Did he know this creature? Was it a thing of legend? And how had he failed? So many questions were churning in her mind, she didn't even notice that Gunner Graves had murmured her name and started her way.[break][break]

"Are our loved ones in a similar situation like this one in Hoenn? Or is this something yet to come to us?" Summer asked, reevaluating the area before her. "As for my location... send me to CIRCHESTER."[break][break]

Summer finally felt eyes on her, turning and making contact with the masked Gunner Graves. Her eyes narrowed, arms crossed over her chest as she guarded herself protectively. "What are you looking at? The goods are taken."

"I think we're going to have to put that to the test..." Summer teased, releasing the front of his jacket to try and push it back. She'd try to get him to slip it off and drop it to the side.[break][break]

She let out a noise when his hand gripped her, pulling her up to the desk. Now that she was sitting there, her arms wrapped around his neck, she knew she won.[break][break]

"Come here then," she whispered, leaning in close.[break][break]

But as soon as he did, she'd twist her arms around his neck, pushing herself against him and off the desk. Hoping her weight would drag him down, Summer swept her foot against his shins to bring the tree plummeting down.[break][break]

Trying to pin his hands against his back, she sat atop him. "You're too easy, Magnus."

Summer did have to admit, the kid had at least some amount of brain cells. His team composition wasn't terrible, and the pairings of his and her own Pokemon were pristine.[break][break]

"Not bad. Then how about we send them out while we perform this show and meet up with them after? We acquire the fossils and get the hell out of this place."[break][break]

As if to make an emphasis, Summer moved her legs that were encapsulated in the strange, flexible plastic fin, slapping on the ground.[break][break]

"I don't know how they expect us to move to the stage, but at least I'm in. Sounds like you're having a fun time over there," she teased.

Summer nodded. In a way, she agreed with him. But, wasn't it human to sit in your own misery before breaking out of the chains? Sometimes, you just needed a little push to remember who you were.[break][break]

Humans weren't perfect, no matter how hard they tried to be.[break][break]

"You're welcome. I'm happy to listen or help in whatever way I can," Summer reiterated. "I hope the future shines brighter for you than the present is."[break][break]

Though her brows furrowed in confusion, looking at Callan with a questioning look. "What do you mean? I don't have a plan. As long as we can communicate with each other, I'm happy."[break][break]

She shifted, looking back out at the ocean. "I don't want to change what I have. As long as he's okay and safe, I'm content." A lie, but it's one she'd hold firmly until his work was done.

"Just a little bit more," Summer thought to herself, not flinching or breaking eye contact as his hand rested on her hip.[break][break]

This man thought with one thing and one thing only, and that was advantageous to her in this situation. "Electrifying? Sounds exciting. Tell me more."[break][break]

She pushed closer to him, touching her chest to his as she tilted her head up. "There's not a coffee machine over on my desk, if you're worried about tipping something over and breaking it," she murmured against his ear, grabbing him by the collar of his jacket.[break][break]

"Business partnership and information agreement aside, I think your tango has intrigued me. So, Magnus. Show me what you can do."[break][break]

Summer had drug him toward the desk, allowing him to feel like he had the advantage with her rear pressed against the wood. However, once he made his move, she knew she'd have the upper hand.[break][break]

She would take him out in one quick move.

It seemed that Gideon was kind enough to offer tickets and even a tour of the museum to her, which took her by surprise. Summer wanted to refuse. However, part of her was interested in the museum and what all it held.[break][break]

And it would be absolutely rude to refuse an offer by her boyfriend's brother, wouldn't it?[break][break]

"I really appreciate it. I'll let you know if we have time to come by. Though, he's been rather busy lately..." She trailed off, her gaze dropping slowly to her meal.[break][break]

It suddenly felt rather difficult to eat. Summer sipped from her cup instead.[break][break]

"Clothing merchandise. I've always had an interest in fashion, but I never thought to try my foot in that world. Gunner actually encouraged me to try it. He said he'd imagine I'd like that, given my taste in clothing." She forced a smile onto her lips.

He was rewarded with another dramatic eyeroll from Summer, though it was not like he could see it. Her silence would be a deafening answer to his snarky accusations.[break][break]

However, she reached up and caught the belt as he dropped them down for her to examine. "Do you have to be so crass?" she hissed, reaching for the first Poke ball.[break][break]

Though, as much as she hated to admit it, his team was rather impressive. Summer reached for her own for him to look at. "We can't just do the show and not get a move on with these fossils. Do yours have the capability of carrying out the mission?" she asked.[break][break]

On her belt, he'd see HISUIAN ZOROARK. Hela's ability to perform ILLUSIONS would give them the capability of bypassing guards and distraction. Her ROTOM could hack into computer systems or other digital confines that may be needed, and perhaps it was a good team member for his PORYGON. Next was SLAKING, to lull any potential opponents to sleep. NOIVERN had INFILTRATOR to bypass any guarding Pokemon's ability to stall them. And lastly was EMBOAR, the muscle of the group.[break][break]

"A WISHIWASHI? Really?" Summer sighed, shaking her head as she sent his belt back over. "Fine. I'll bring my VAPOREON to join us."
