Even the compliment offered was replied with silence.

As Johanna watched from her newfound position, it became increasingly clear to her that they had to pull out the big guns against Navy.

She hoped he had really good insurance on this place. For the next words that she uttered would be the cause of a lot of damage. “Clay, you have permission to use your Z-move!”

And from within the Swirling whirlpool growing ever solid the brightest flicker of a light could be spotted alongside the ear splitting screech of a charge-up, before Annihilation would befall the arena, or at least whatever part of it was in a straight line in front of the Claydol.




Anything in its path would be vaporized, whether it be a freezing whirlpool of water, rock and mud, or a wall and even steel beams. It would leave naught but sad scorching hot molten remains of whatever had been foolish to stand in its path.

Eyes went wide as she was given the chance to look at the picture. And now she felt bad for never getting around to seeing the show. And so, with a smile she’d say. “I'll make sure that I do!”

Johanna hmmed thoughtfully.

“Maybe let’s do one of the whirly ones.” Johanna replied. Only then noticing the whining from the Type: Null. It almost sounded like it wanted to try a ride too. Unfortunately the majority of the rides weren’t made for Pokemon of that size.

The fries were consumed joyously before the pair made their way over to the Drop-tower.

She saw the height of it and immediately regretted her decision. She should’ve known better.

Sending a quick glance at Isaac she saw him deep in the process of recording a slow dramatic pan up of the tower, and she knew there was no going back.

You can do this, Johanna. It’s just a little drop…

She reminded herself, offering Isaac the time to finish his little social media stunt, before she would join the line for the little adventure.

Johanna's gentle smile came into view as the stranger lit up the nearby area with their electric type pokemon.

The light was appreciated and so was the comments that followed. "Thank you." It always felt weird meeting fans even if it was nice to know her efforts were appreciated.

"Oh you know, just looking for a bit of adventure." Surely it wouldn't be weird for a well traveled trainer to explore new places.

And that's when she went quiet, if only for a brief moment. She had barely noticed it over the sound of her own voice, but the faint murmuring of the natives alongside the shambling footsteps of their nearing approach grew louder.

"Maybe we should find somewhere safer?" She suggested.

MEMORY


I will be the first to admit that this isn’t exactly my cup of tea. With that said, I do find it beautiful in a haunting sort of way. Perhaps it is merely the vibe her voice manages to capture? Either way, I enjoyed it for what it was as an experience, but I most likely won’t be revisiting this album in the future. But I recommend anyone reading this review to go have a listen and make your own opinions on the matter.


BURN THE RAIN



I was a fan of Teravolt before they disbanded. But this… This is not Teravolt. While Callan Young is a master of his craft, which surely nobody can deny at this point. I find the music’s attempt at criticizing the constant political divide here without offering any solutions to the matter a bit misplaced?

Perhaps it is just me, this I will admit. Perhaps I just desire more than just another low hanging fruit from someone so capable of more than that. This is a pass for me. But if you do like any of the following genres; 90's indie rock, grunge, industrial rock, and punk, then give it a listen. You might enjoy it.

While I didn't particularly enjoy the genre of this Album, the topics it touched resonated with me.

It is definitely a well crafted piece of musical artistry which hopefully will stand the test of time. Please go have a listen and support Melody so that her next album might be a bit more cheerful!

As Johanna skulked about she heard footsteps nearby. Stumbling on like a drunkard.

Johanna pressed herself against the nearest wall trying to HIDE as much as possible. She kept her breath quiet and soundless.

She saw no more than a waddling shape shambling onward after a momentary pause. She quietly snuck onward for a moment until she stumbled upon a fellow Wilds-explorer.

Had she not already been on edge and knowingly keeping quiet, she would definitely have screamed. But through sheer determination the only thing that escaped her was a mild relieved sigh as she realized it wasn’t a native.

“Sorry about that.” No need to claim the same.

While the Carnival was in town, Johanna took the opportunity to take a small detour past New Mauville. Mainly because she had come to the realization that she hadn’t a single Electric type in her team.

Her desire to give back to the world for all the perceived harm she did as a grunt (Even if it wasn't a whole lot) In August, this theme has been explored through the Funtasia event, as can be seen in the various threads she has partaken in during this event.
