[attr="class","textbody"] [break][break] Both his Blastoise and Pikachu aim to aid in the Councilwoman's defense. A BLIZZARD crashing against the raging SANDSTORM while a wild DISCHARGE aims to short-circuit the incoming legion of Genesect that are headed the crowd's way.

Heat and flame intermingle alongside PENELOPE LIVY's inferno, as more and more battles are added to the mix. It seems almost impossible that whoever - whatever - they're fighting doesn't seem to end. With each Rocket that is felled by the Councilwoman's power, another seems to rise in it's place. With every civilian that ollie morales seems to save, another falls in it's place.

[break][break] Like a block of dominoes, one right after the other.
[break][break] But they can't give up. They can't give in.

[break][break] "Behind me!" the Head Ranger shouts, just as the gleam of his Wyrdeer's horns glow with blinding light, a dome of shimmering stars resurfacing above and around ollie morales's reliable, broad back.

wyrdeer summons a protective dome formed of shimmering stars. this shield envelops wyrdeer and its allies, protecting them for a duration of time as well as healing them.

[break] In contrast to the reign of terror that PENELOPE LIVY's envious magma powers caused, a healing sun rises in the face of the Head Ranger as he both protects and heals all the civilians within his vicinity. His eyes burn with the same conviction that PENELOPE LIVY has, for better or for worse.

[break][break] His head jerks back.

[break][break] "Penny!" he shouts, distracted by the sight of her falling against the ground. "Are you okay?"

[break][break] Ollie's quick to come to the councilwoman's aid, aiming to drag her back upright and - if needed - onto the back of his Wyrdeer.

[break][break] "Pen," he said, voice rough, as his eyes glimpsed between the crowd of Rangers that were having difficulty keeping the panicked civilians at bay. The Genesect stirred with a crack and snap of their robotic limbs, stirring upright again, as if pulled together by some outside force. It was then, due to PENELOPE LIVY's actions, that understanding dawned behind the Head Ranger's expression. "I think - something's not right."

[break][break] His eyes shift towards the sight of the lethal Pyroar that is quickly inching their way, mouth parted in a snarl. A shudder passes through him as he's reminded of Cillian Quinn. He shakes his head.

[break][break] "You're right," he said, scrambling to his feet. "We really do need to go."

[break][break] Reaching into his belt, he calls for aid from his Dragonite.

[break][break] "Stache! Put up a shield!"

[break][break] A SAFEGUARD glimmers between them as Ollie attempts to run out of the room, throwing out a door so that lam logan can go through before he follows. They break into a hallway, which seems just as much of a dark, confusing maze as the rest of this place.

[break][break] Across the long stretch of hallway, however, there is a door. The Head Ranger's eyes lock into it before he's sprinting down the corridor in an attempt to wretch it open. But it's locked. No such luck.

[break][break] Fuck.

[break][break] His eyes glimpse a mechanical pad along the side of it and he presses his palm against it, haphazardly looking behind them just to make sure that the Pyroar isn't following. Is it just him or do the walls feel like they're closing in on him? God, he's getting claustrophobic.

[break][break] 'Chaa!'

[break][break] Tofu is smarter than him, though. Quick to come to his trainer's aid, the Pikachu lets out an electric bolt that seems to stir the panel to life, causing technicolor lights to glimmer across it's prismatic screen.

[break][break] He was an act and then ask questions later. If there was room to think, it was not a space that he could see — his body moved as easy as breathing, headed directly into the mouth of a roaring beast, as flames licked the ground of the plaza square, aimed to scour all the civilians in it's vicious breath.

[break][break] Quick is the conductor to the crowd, following the words of PENELOPE LIVY as it crackled through the comms. From his waist, his Blastoise appeared. It's jets locked into the place, before scouring the earth with a HYDRO PUMP to keep the growing inferno at bay.

[break][break] Several other Rangers came to their leaders aid, aiming to pull the civilians away from the yawning mouth of the beast. Of the flames that threatened to eat then and several others alive, even as bullets and hellfire scorched through the pit of despair.

[break][break] "Get them to safety!" Ollie shouted, twisting on his heel to glare at the Rockets and their Genesect pairs. "We'll handle the rest!"

[break][break] He nodded swiftly at Penny, getting on Mocha and tending to the crowd as she demanded. It's horns glowed with PSYCHIC energy as it pulled off broken street lamps and debris from unwilling victims, draggign them upright so they could run into the open Rangers hands.

[break][break] Ollie stood tall and swift in the center of the crowd, a beacon of light, of hope as PENELOPE LIVY manned their offense.

[break][break] To ollie morales's golden beacon, PENELOPE LIVY was a flaming dragon, ready to scorch whichever that walked in it's path.

Normally, it was Gunner Graves, paxton concordas and the other members of HBIC who did these house check-ins. Most Rangers tended to go to Ollie's office directly, when it came to reports such as these.

[break][break] The Head Ranger leaped off of his Wyrdeer, arriving just a few minutes shy of their designated meeting time. Ollie wasn't the most punctual of people — in his defense, though, he had a lot on his plate!

[break][break] His Pikachu gave a similar greeting as it was perched on his shoulder, waving at the other man.

[break][break] "Nice ta see ya out in the field." He smiled easily, then began to lead their way deeper into the cavern. This was a Tera Crystal cave that had popped up only recently and as was their job, they needed to investigate just to make sure there wasn't anything dangerous inside. Especially with the upcoming war preparations.
