[attr="class","textbody"] Those teeth were pretty dangerous, Ollie thought as he watched the Hydreigon aim another CRUNCH towards Tofu. Though Tofu was fast, they would have to come up with something else if they wanted to get through this battle with all of his limbs intact.

[break][break] "Oi!" Ollie called, his words carrying over strongly over the din of battle. "Knock some sense into those teeth!"

[break][break] Electricity gathered in the Pikachu's cheeks so that when the Hydreigon's teeth sank into his flesh, Tofu exploded into a bright blue DISCHARGE. Sparks pulsated through the arena like lightning bolts, aimed to pierce right through the dragon.

With a booming cry, the Pikachu rolls backwards as it faints and returns to it's normal size. Ollie leaps forward onto the battle field, sneakers sloshing against the puddles, as he catches Tofu.

[break][break] "You did good buddy," he murmurs, before returning the fainted creature to his pokeball. Afterwards, he walks over to Kazimir Wynter, flashing the other man a grin.

[break][break] It would be pretty convenient to do things that way, especially if there was some reason that he couldn't talk to his pokemon. He practiced a little of nonverbal communication with pokemon like Tofu or Mochi, but that was only because he knew them so well.

[break][break] Both DISARMING VOICES clash against each other, the notes bursting into multicolored sparks of light. The light shimmers just as Ollie raises his arm, triggering Tofu's DYNAMAX EVOLUTION.

[break][break] Shadow casts across the arena as the Pikachu triples in size, taking up nearly the entire arena. With a cry, the Pikachu charges up before aiming an IRON TAIL down at his foe.

Regardless, the attack that Tofu launches is less than effective — rather than an explosive burst, it is merely sparks of light that crackle and fall in the air, like deflated balloons.

[break][break] Still dizzy, the HEADBUTT strikes true and has the Pikachu toppling backwards into the dirt.

[break][break] The Pikachu pushes himself to his feet again, shaking his head. His body aches all over, even though the battle's just begun.

[break][break] Tofu's strength is his speed. Compared to the Bewear, it's no one's suprise who will lose the gambit in a match of power and swiftness. So it's their best bet, Ollie thinks, to try to keep as much distance between them as possible. He opens his mouth to the Pikachu to tell him so, but Tofu is determined.

[break][break] He's stubborn.

[break][break] The Pikachu waits a second too long, because the STRENGTH overcomes him with a wave of energy that has him tumbling back onto the pavement. His recklessness is his undoing, a fact that Tofu learns as he stumbles back to his feet. His head dizzy.

[break][break] Wobbly, a DISARMING VOICE cuts through the air between them.

[attr="class","textbody"] Personally, if asked, Ollie would've said that he thought both Pikachu and Wooloo were plenty cute. If he had to pick, though, he'd have to say that he had a fondness for Stantler and Wyrdeer that he couldn't quite explain. Though, all pokemon were neat in their own ways.

[break][break] The PSYCHO CUT strikes true, launching Tofu across the battlefield. He falls down like a ragdoll, crumpled against the floor. Dizziness shakes from his eyes as he gets back up to his feet, lips twisted into a scowl.

[break][break] Electricity crackles bright as a DISCHARGE booms across the field.

[break][break] Ollie would've loved to talk more about coffee preferences, but there was little time. He was sure noah faber had better places to be too.

[break][break] The battle starts off quick with Tofu throwing the remains of his treat to the side as he darts towards the center of the arena. Electricity sparks bright in his ruby red cheeks before the Tofu faces the other with a bright grin.
