Aidan had been lost in thought, not knowing for how long he'd been there just watching people go by in their normal and simple lives. The lives he so much envied, but the lives he'd never be able to mimic, maybe one day when his revenge had been accomplished, very unl and somehow his debt to Rocket had been paid, very unlikely though.[break][break]

A voice snapping him back to the real world. Taking Aidan by the surprise as someone apologized to him. "Oh I'm sorry for being in your way!" He'd say turning around towards the voice. Awestruck by the person in front of him, as she fiddled with her dress. [break][break]

Aidan couldn't help but notice all of her features, reflexes from the time he used to work for the Sinnoh PD, he didn't exactly like it since it made him subconsciously judge people but here he was possibly looking at one of the prettiest people he had ever seen. Sadly, he didn't have the right to speak his mind like that, yet.[break][break]

"Oh... Oh not at all, I just arrived a little early." Yes, Aidan was a little flustered. He had never expected someone that looked so good. "Sooooooo uh. What's the play here?" His curious side still peeking out from underneath his many other feelings.[break][break]

Even with Aidan's question being answered by the almighty King, it still felt as if nothing had been answered, he should have expect cryptic answers in the first place, very much like the books of old that he read when he was a child. In fact this whole scenario was starting to feel awfully like a fairy tale, small idea that Aidan would keep to himself, especially since he was just about to be raptured. "I'll see you guys on the other side."[break][break]

As the light beams unraptured them into what Aidan could only guess was Circhester. Putting his hand out to only realize what was falling from the sky wasn't snow at all, explaining why everything had been painted in a shad of grey, ash ad soot paved their way in every direction. Aida could quickly start questioning if they could even save a place that had fell into such great ruin. Snapping back from his poignant mind set as several people around him sprung into action, very much like the heroes that Calyrex had spoken about. [break][break]

Retreating his Gengar back to it's pokeball and letting his Alakazam take it's place, Aidan was ready to start helping Rowan Wrynn out with the hands that inevitably appear from the hot springs but a voice rang from the Rocket comms. A voice he wasn't exactly familiar with but a voice that he'd listen to regardless. "Hey mud boy! Careful with the hands, yeah?" Aidan would say before turning back and heading towards the Circhester Stadium, his Alakazam following him. It had felt okay to leave them behind, everyone there looked capable enough.[break][break]

Making it to the Circhester Stadium just in time to witness a strange Togekiss attacking a blockade. "I heard the comms and came to help out." Aidan would say still unsure who exactly was the one taking the lead here but understanding that team effort was required. "As we break the blockage more hands are bound to start attacking us, I can take care of those as you clear our way?" Aidan would say looking towards Naomi Sato, readying his Alakazam to attack at any sign of movement from the poison hands. "Hit em' with Psychic" He'd command his pokemon.[break][break]

For the first time in a while Aidan had been excited for a job. He had been tasked with procuring a set of very valuable stones, the different this time was that he'd be working with professional for once, for the first time he had also read the full request from Rocket. As someone who had no experience in the act of thievery, he'd be very happy to learn. What he did know was that he'd probably been request to join because of his skill in covering people's tracks. [break][break]

For the first time in a long time he actually had to dress for the occasion, trying to look his best, after all they were about to turn into classic thieves in the night so he had to look the part. Donning his old attire from his Sinnoh Syndicate days. Once arriving at his destination he'd make sure to wait for his partner in crime to arrive. [break][break]

In the few minutes he had to kill he did wonder what would be the plan for this job, he didn't exactly want to interfere with giada morgan's way of working, he only wanted to add to it and be useful when it was required. He was only here to listen and do what he was told to do, little were the opportunities to learn such valuable skills without being judged by the society.[break][break]

Why you lying? [C/M]

Last time Aidan had come to Slateport was for the beaches and festival games, some good ol' Mantine Surfing that he'll make sure to never forget and his favorite game of all time, the dunking tank. Today he wasn't here for fun and games though, he had a lifetime opportunity of interacting with a superior who was leagues above him in the Rocket ladder.[break][break]

Today's job was something that Aidan had grown used to from working along with the Sinnoh Syndicate, he didn't exactly enjoy the work but he had to show that he was willing to push his already broken boundaries. Making sure to arrive on time, their meeting spot in the outskirts. The job was simple but dirty, making examples of small-time thugs using the Rocket name for their own selfish reasons. [break][break]

Finally arriving at his destination, Aidan would try to look busy enough to not be suspicious, he had been wearing normal enough clothes to not really stand out. He was ready to break some kneecaps and fingers, hopefully showing good work to one of his bosses, perhaps even good enough that he'll be upgraded from runt into something more solid. After all, he had a feeling that this job in particular was likely to only be happening so that Aidan could be judged as a good Rocket member.[break][break]

For once, for the first and likely his last time he'd have a job he was used to, something he had done many many times in his past life. Getting a whole new identity was the first and easiest step of starting a new life somewhere, something Aidan should have done much earlier in his growing Rocket career.[break][break]

A job he thought that should have been done alone, something just walking by was always less conspicuous than two people, the more people the more chance there was of getting the attention that people like him didn't want. Once again he was coming into a job with another person he had never met, that's just how it normally worked, having faith to one day change that. [break][break]

As he approached the rendezvous, he would see a girl by herself, holding coffee and fairly well dressed. It wasn't bad, she was blending in, the extra cups making it look like she was simply waiting for someone. In fact, the two wouldn't really need to try too hard to hide, the league wasn't watching everyone at all times, they weren't The Big Brother.[break][break]

"Ayo! Is that for me!?" Aidan would say picking up the extra cup and giving Naia a quick hug. "Just go along with it, like we're just friends meeting up." He'd speak once again, much lower tone while they hugged. "We should get going! You know how the others are, they don't like waiting." Now he'd say while jokingly pushing her forward, as if the two were late for meeting more friends, not wanting to dwell in the same place too long.[break][break]

As the sun kissed the ever longing horizon, Aidan couldn't help but feel relaxed. The emptiness helping the situation even further, if only he could paint this moment to keep forever, alas that was not one of the powers any pokemon held. Taking a deep breath to further appreciate and embrace this perfect instant. [break][break]

Aidan would close his eyes one more time before he could move on with his jog. A beautiful would invite itself into his ear, as if he had entered the gates of Elysium itself. Had he just randomly died and finally met his maker? Was this the way he would finally go? At the beach standing still and watching the sunset, perhaps that wasn't such a bad way to go and it finally was his time to join the many souls he had put to rest himself.[break][break]

Opening his eyes slowly to make sure he wasn't dreaming, slowly realizing in estranged disappointment that he was in fact still alive. Following the voice around only to find what still felt like a dream visage, a beautiful girl with a guitar was just there, singing her soul out. Their eyes would meet for a second, Aidan would quickly turn around as if he had been doing something wrong and he was caught red handed.[break][break]

But in fact he wasn't doing something illegal, for once. Not wanting to let the peaceful moment go, Aidan would calmly make his way towards the girl, trying to not seem weird. "Hey hi! Sorry if I caught you off guard, I didn't know anyone was here at this hour." Aidan didn't want to let this feeling of peacefulness. "I just wanted to ask if I could sit and keep listening to you." Aidan would ask while looking towards the crashing waves.[break][break]

As Rowan's words hung in the air, Aidan couldn't help but feel a surge of emotions washing over them. The unexpected reunion stirred memories long tucked away, now resurfacing with a poignant intensity. Aidan still wasn't sure what was even happening, no time was taken to even gather any information about his own whereabouts, the only thing he could feel was all of the death around him, a feeling he had sadly been way too used to. His long lost good-natured side had taken over even before his mind would fully react. Another person (Remiel Calcifet) had also shown themselves to help Rowan Wrynn. Aidan would take a step back from the group not wanting to give his Rocket status out that quickly. He trusted his gengar enough, along with the ones that were risking their lives by helping someone else in an unknown environment. [break][break]

Taking a few seconds to fully scan the area around them and not understanding a single thing about what had transpired, he was sure they had been transported to somewhere, he just had no idea where this place was. Placing his attention back to Rowan Wrynn once he spoke up to thank them all. "Don't scare us like that ever again, mud boy." Aidan would say with a slight smile filled with relief. Before Aidan could even fathom the concept of introducing himself to Remiel Calcifet and Serena Malcolm, something strange and unpleasant happened. [break][break]

As the strange and haunting synchronized voices rang through the air, Aidan couldn't help but watch as the horrific vision of four people being puppeteer-ed by a very... Strange looking pokemon. Aiden would look around himself as soon as Calyrex spoke of everyone putting their differences aside, as if the world had been lifted from his shoulders. He'd continue to listen to the pokemon's request. Not exactly understanding the full context behind the said "hero". Once again, he'd listen as everyone shot their own questions towards the King before he'd raise his own voice to ask something. "Something terrible clearly happened here... That much is obvious.
