Oh FUCK. The moment that the SURF comes, it washes over the bear, throwing him backwards, and forcing him to slide backwards, drenched in water. Law wasn't giving up, no way, no how. But...[break][break]

Law can do this. David versus Goliath, lets fucking GO. Law sees the QUICK ATTACK coming, and is able to DETECT through it. It won't last forever, but as the little bear barrages more with another CLOSE COMBAT, its legs look weaker and weaker every second.[break][break]

The bear was quite literally on the last leg, and would do everything to stay in this ring. The tiny bear already seeing in double vision. Willpower keeps him going.[break][break]

Law's timing was off, and the HYDRO PUMP leaves the little Kubfu off his feet and off-balance. But, as he Akira slides onto the wet ground, the Froakie goes in for the lick. And this moment was the one Law needed.[break][break]

One fist clinched, and pulling the frog to him, if he has the energy, he begins a brutal CLOSE COMBAT. Though, his defenses would lower, this Kubfu needed to get this strike in, or suffer defeat![break][break]

The moment Law realizes he's just grazed Tofu, he's landed already, slamming into the leaf sprouts and vines of the TRAILBLAZE, and forced to stay in place, but the moment the vines ensnare him, Law attempts to rip his way out.[break][break]

Ashley has to respond, right? He can't just... not. But Law would look at Ashley with a pout, before quietly breathing in, and breathing out.[break][break]

The moment that Pikachu made an attack at him, Law was going to IRON HEAD. His head wasn't ensnared. So he would make sure to connect back.[break][break]

And if that Pikachu ran away, he'll just break the fines and do it anyways. One way or another, that Pikachu was getting slammed with a head-on collission, and Law would impose his version of martial law to speed with relative force.[break][break]

That blast of DISCHARGE cannot possibly be dodged, and while little Law can't block it, what he does instead, is attempts to tank it. With a glint of his eyes, the bear throws both arms up to block in a DETECT.[break][break]

And if that goes well enough, the return is a trio of kicks in an AERIAL ACE, a taekwondo jumping one, a spin to the other one, and a falling ax kick for the last.[break][break]

If Tofu was going down, he'd go down alone.[break][break]

Ashley just smiles sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. Law really was letting loose.[break][break]

Nothing seems to be working, and the more energy Law puts out, the harder it gets to push through it. The moment that barrage of SHADOW BALLS slams into him, the Kubfu is already on the last leg, looking up at the goliath of an Eevee. The Kubfu's legs shake, and all Ash can do is close his eyes.[break][break]

"It's okay, buddy... do what you do best. Defense to the wind." Ash calls out with a soft boy smile.[break][break]

With a flash of his eyes, the Kubfu stomps the ground, and begins walking slowly forward, slamming his paws at rapid speed to a CLOSE COMBAT. Making as much damage as he possibly can in a short amount of time.[break][break]

Hopefully, he could turn it around.[break][break]

Something about that Pikachu throws Law off his game, because as Ash seems to be off balance by meeting Ollie cordially, it's the strike to Law that has him pay attention. The Kubfu, quickly grabbing onto the Pikachu, snatches Tofu's tail, and attempts to throw the Pikachu in the ground with a COUNTER![break][break]

Hopefully, if all went well, Law would smash the Pikachu into the arena. If the little Kubfu could manage. That kick was so direct, that the bear was a little woozy right now.[break][break]

Ash can't even look at Ollie right now. The guilt is too much to bear.[break][break]

The COUNTER was the right play, and while the Kubfu was able to take the strike dead-on, the frog took the worst of it, and with a stance taken again, the Kubfu watches the HYDRO PUMP come out.[break][break]

Though, this time, attempting to DETECT around it, Law begins to run around the Froakie into a circle, before giving back a powerful IRON HEAD! Hopefully, he could keep the momentum up.[break][break]

All those memories come back. The debilitating mental state should be red flag enough, but the self-immolation he put himself through. The moment in the Dewford cave had been their most positive experience.[break][break]

But. Ollie opened up. He knew him, and as Ash's chest tightens, at the hand outstretched, he can feel his eyes water. With a quick brush of his sleeve, he gives a smile himself.[break][break]

Then, he takes his spot, the long trek back there, with Law taking this moment to stretch, even getting on a handstand to workout.[break][break]

Oh SCHNIKES bro, Law can feel the SMACK DOWN coming, and in return, attempts something nutty. Midair, after the AERIAL ACE hits, the Kubfu spins their body around on an axie, intent to make a helluva COUNTER. The bear will get hurt, but the frog is going to get it worse by far.[break][break]

It's instinctual for the bear, and as he fights like that, spinning on a dime, he hopes that the damage isn't too much![break][break]

That Froakie takes it personally, and Law is already in his fighting chops. As that HYDRO PUMP comes out and blasts outwards with petty resolve, the little Kubfu attempts to DETECT through it, running forward to close in.[break][break]

The moment Law gets closer, with a foot smashing the ground beneath, he leaps out of the jetstream, and AERIAL ACEs downwards on the teeny tiny frog.[break][break]

He'll feel that one. Law smiles at the frog, not taking anything personally at all.[break][break]

It was hard to tell if this would work properly, but it was all a matter of timing.[break][break]
