Elise still feels the tensions in the air in spite of the Petalburg-Sootopolis war being over. [break][break]

“You feel it too, didn’t you?” The ambassador’s soft-spoken voice addresses the shard of Calyrex that helps her take up a duty of not letting any of Rocket’s forces head towards Rustboro City. The domain that she was entrusted in ensuring the cityfolk’s safety along with the gym leader and the city mayor.[break][break]

Charles replies to her with a “Cro-rown.” as he sniffs the air around them in Route 104 while the royal ambassador scouts the area along with the hare king. Unlike the combat simulations she had with Project SAPPHIRE, it’ll be the shard’s first real fight with a Rocket.[break][break]

She’s very grateful that he’ll protect her since the League’s Calyrex put his trust and faith in her as someone he’s keeping an eye on.

As much as Elise would want Charles to help her and the girlygang out with reconstructing Pacifidlog Town, the ambassador thinks that it’ll be too dangerous to have the little hare king be potentially in the middle of Rocket attempting to find out more about the shard’s powers. She decides to let her Magearna and the little female Sprigatito that became the steel princess’ friend to be out instead.[break][break]

Thankfully, Elise is able to spot the orangette and the pinkette together along with their Pokemon. Audrey the Magearna lets Jasmine ride onto her shoulder as the curious robotic princess goes over to the pink cloaked Pokemon first. Pink eyes stare a bit wide at the mystery Pokemon, but she didn’t try to pull off the cloak.[break][break]

“Hello Genny and Desiree, it’s so good to see you again.” A smile came onto the royal Galarian ambassador’s face when she joins up with her two friends. “Sorry, Audrey is a little new to Hoenn, so she’s very curious of everything.” Elise apologizes to the cloaked Pokemon beside Desiree while the female Magearna makes a small questioning beep.[break][break]

Jasmine mews in a confused way too over the cloaked Pokemon though she's curious of what kind of Pokemon her friend is looking at.

From the interaction that the Galarian royal had with the painter, that was a pleasant experience with getting to see the vivid colors come to life with her portrait. Other portraits of the Queen and her eldest cousin were in the same hall in the Calcifet Palace though the ambassador especially remembers that the Queen’s expression looked a bit dour in her sitting posture.[break][break]

“I didn’t expect to see you in Hoenn either.” And Elise would surely think that Remiel’s decision to stay in Hoenn would negatively impact Galar and their people, given that he was supposed to be their future King…but he had also told her that Hoenn was the region he liked because it was freedom. [break][break]

“But I will call you Ana instead.” Elise thinks it’s a little easier than to say the actual name, it sounded a bit shorter too. “I came to Hoenn because I wanted to find my cousin and to become a better trainer like my late mother.”

Audrey’s pink eyes blink at the Miltank sniffing at her before she’d watch over the small green kitten. Jasmine herself mews in greeting to the sniffing Miltank as the female Sprigatito looks over at the platter of pastries. Elise’s Mismagius did not mind being sniffed at, but she’d watch over the younger Sprigatito too.[break][break]

“I do wonder what brought you here to Hoenn. Were you wanting to pursue painting like your mother?” Elise figures that she’d ask the same to Ana too since she knows that her mother was very talented.

Compared to Josh, she had gotten out of Petalburg with only a bandage for her gash from a wound. Hers wasn’t the most serious, but it was something that she should’ve gotten more careful about with her swordfighting against the other Rocket. The Galarian royal had to take care of her personal guard’s wound since he had fought to protect her the most.[break][break]

“I luckily didn’t have a career ending injury.” She can’t imagine what it would be like to not be able to ride with a injury like her friend’s. “But I took care of a gash that I got through swordfighting with a Rocket in Petalburg.” [break][break]

The Sprigatito gets the pat from the female Pyroar and Jasmine mews at the Pyroar’s greeting. As Josh describes what happened to one of his Pyroar and his Dragonair too, the ambassador understood that very well.[break][break]

“I’m very sorry to hear that Aslan and Resheph has both died. My shiny Doublade also sacrificed his life to protect me, so…I understood that feeling.” Elise gives a solemn nod while the gym leader talked about Shalin’s capture and Elise’s transfer to Rustboro being a good blessing that she wouldn’t be the one who was captured. “Rocket would only try to use me as a bargaining chip to lure out my cousin and when it didn’t happen the first time, they spoke of having another use for me.”

The garden is being accosted by a lone Rabsca. Elise hadn’t visited hers in some time though her Flapple had been taking care of the berries there. Koru lets the ambassador know when Elise enters the garden that a Rabsca is seen around the little plot containing some of the berries planted. Agravain the Ceruledge shows himself after dispelling the Phantom Force that he cloaked himself with.[break][break]

In one swift motion, the Ceruledge disappears in using Phantom Force as the wild Rabsca looks confused before the black knight-like Pokemon slashes at the wild bug type with his blade. Elise takes out a Dusk Ball and it sucks in the wild Rabsca, knowing that it’ll go to a good home than to leave it there.

An invite to the young woman’s tea party came with the small realization that the Galarian royal did see her once before in Hammerlocke. “Thank you for the invite, I’m sure my group of Pokemon will enjoy themselves at the tea party too.” Elise’s quartet of Pokemon sit down with her on the checkered cloth and she notes that the bakery bought pastries did look very delicious.[break][break]

Audrey lets go of the female Sprigatito as the steel princess lets her friend down. “I did remember that your mother painted a picture of me. It was a very lovely portrait.” The Galarian royal remembers that her portrait was hung up in the Calcifet Palace along with the other family portraits of her aunt and Remiel. “Anastasia, was it? I think I recall meeting you in Hammerlocke once.”

Both of her Mismagius and Sprigatito had made very good friends with the Magearna so far, even Audrey had sort of adopted the little female grass cat as her little sister figure. Charles had even made a new friend with her too. The steel princess lets the Sprigatito ride onto her shoulder while the pink eyes of the robotic Pokemon look around the outskirts of Oldale Town. The royal ambassador herself would be taking a stroll to relax herself from the tensions of yet another potential war that could happen in the other towns and cities.[break][break]

As Audrey takes note of the tea party between another female human and her Pokemon, her Sprigatito friend jumps off from her shoulder to see the party taking place on a checkered cloth. Worry sets in on the female Magearna as she takes off after the running Sprigatito, followed by the Galarian royal, her Mismagius partner and the Calyrex shard.[break][break]

Thankfully, Audrey uses her arms to pick up Jasmine when she looks over to the tea set, the pastries in a platter, and the three Pokemon by the other young woman’s side. [break][break]

“Is that a tea party you are having?” The princess remembers those that were held at the Calcifet Palace though the parties there were much fancier as she’d ask nicely towards the young lady. “I must apologize for my Sprigatito as well. Jasmine’s a little curious about everything.”

This girl had a knight too? At that day and age, knights were replaced with bodyguards. Yet, there were countries like Galar that still held onto the culture of knighthood and swords. The Crown Tundra had knights going around in armor unlike the ceremonial ones that had their suits and ties. [break][break]

“Perhaps my royal knight can meet with yours.” A little chuckle comes from the Galarian royal as she imagines Cadeyrn Osmond to meet with the knight of the little girl. “Sir Osmond came from a family of Galarian knights that still serve the Galarian crown, so I’m sure he will have a wonderful time talking about what he does for a living.”[break][break]

The ambassador watches her small pink Hatenna sip through the straw and chew on the grass jelly from her strawberry milk tea. Irisviel enjoyed the sweet strawberry taste of her drink and she was almost halfway finished![break][break]

“Thank you, I am certain that your taste in the teas you ordered are just as flavorful.” She smiles down at the younger girl where Elise is sure that the red-headed knight didn’t have an aversion to sweet things. The ambassador takes a sip out of her earl grey milk tea after she pokes the straw in before she realizes that she had forgotten to give her name to this young stranger. “Oh, I’m very sorry for not introducing myself to you. My name is Elise Calcifet. It’s a pleasure to meet you, young lady.”

Her cousin answers the question that she feared. Rocket had been growing its strengths and she wondered if the League will have to play their hand in curbing Rocket out of the key territories. Elise can’t do anything much, but to help on the side lines of the war with her medical training.[break][break]

“I was scared that the Galarian birds would ally with Rocket, given that they would never side with the League.” Elise gets concerned over the reveal that the Galarian Articuno has become Avatar with a Rocket called Neon. “And that they’ll go after the Dyna Tree’s fruit in Ever Grande.”[break][break]

She is very worried for the League’s Calyrex, the one that entrusted her with the care of his shard. [break][break]

“I wish there would be something more that I can do.” Elise wondered if there was a time that the League’s Calyrex could ask her for her help while she speaks to her cousin and Josh. “I do not know if the League’s Calyrex would bless me with his power, but I have his trust and guidance on becoming a help for the League itself.”

She wanted to get answers from the League too. Her personal guard was committed to protecting her from the day that she chose him on her father’s suggestion. It was more of a familial sort of thing and her family and Cade’s were on good standing with each other. Both that worked in a relationship akin to royalty and their knightly protectors.[break][break]

Oddly enough that the Queen didn’t think to betroth Elise to her childhood friend, the princess would’ve been happy to be in such an arrangement.[break][break]

“Believe me, I want to get to the bottom of that with the League.” She was not sure if the League would answer questions like this, given that one of the masked Rockets she battled with spoke of the League being corrupt. “But as much as I’ve heard from a disguised Rocket’s mouth that the League is corrupt… My country still stands with the League’s government even though Remiel had been on the opposite side once.”[break][break]

Was the League actually corrupt? Is that why her friend Alexei Ivanov , didn’t like the way that Dahlia ran things? She wonders whether it was the right choice to have Galar ally itself with the League.[break][break]

“Yes, I can go for one more run.” Her purple eyes look over to the majestic thunder cat, the one that Josh had always searched for. His Raikou looked to be a bit ashen, but it still looked like the beast of thunder she knew from Johto’s legends. “I was a bit curious if Swift counted as a ‘shard’ of a legendary…like Charles himself.”

They’ll have time to talk about training with their thunder cats when the gym’s electricity wasn’t at stake. “Yes, that will be a conversation we can take when the problem is solved at your gym.” As Josh asks her how many electric type Pokemon she bought to the gym, she replies to the gym leader. “Well, I brought only one electric type Pokemon and she’s my Yamper, so…she should be alright.”[break][break]

She sees the other employees of Josh’s gym get away from the Operation Center. Her mare keeps up with the speed of the Zebstrika though Llamrei is more faster than the average horse Pokemon. “Got it, I’ll bring out my Yamper when we dismount for the trip up to the second floor.”

Mauville gym was still the same when Elise had paid a visit. She was not one of Josh’s gym trainers anymore, but she still welcome to be there. Elise hadn’t had much contact with Josh ever since the conflict started and when the conflict ended with Petalburg being taken, Elise can’t help but think she might have gotten too late to save Shalin Nariya from capture.[break][break]

“Would you give me a pen? Thank you.” The ambassador gives her thanks to Josh’s secretary at the front desk when she writes down her name on the sheet for visitation with a ballpoint pen. The Pokemon that accompanies the ambassador is her Magearna, a curious robotic princess that looks around the gym’s lobby.[break][break]

And the Sprigatito, of course, who wanted to see what was the fuss about today at Josh’s gym. Elise would have her other Pokemon rest and if they wanted to be out, she’ll expect that they’ll want to be sent out.[break][break]

When Elise and her Pokemon are out of the lobby and into the open space, the female Sprigatito dashes towards the assembly of Josh’s Pokemon coupled with the still living Pyroar of the pride of the large felines. It would take the ambassador and her Magearna to catch up to the little grass cat that Elise sees the gym leader do some kind of ceremony.[break][break]

“Hello Josh, it’s so nice to see you again.” A greeting came from the royal Galarian ambassador while Jasmine looks up to one of the female Pyroar. Audrey the Magearna accompanies the little kitten to make sure that Jasmine isn’t causing trouble for the Pyroar pride. "I haven't seen your Pyroar pride in a while either. Not until the Petalburg war ended."
