Like a silent ghost, the Galarian Ambassador is dressed in a black formal dress when she arrives at the room filled with other guests and rangers posted at the funeral. As Ranger Captain of Rustboro City, she shudders to think if Rustboro would share the same fate like Petalburg.[break][break] Her friend and fellow Ranger Captain, Shalin Nariya , won’t be attending due to being captured by Rocket. Elise is afraid of what Rocket would do to her now.[break][break] “Good day, ollie morales .” The Galarian royal princess greets the Head Ranger and gives a polite bow to his Pikachu. “And hello to you too, Tofu.” By her side, the princess’ Mismagius does the same as well as Charles the Calyrex shard that had hid behind the ambassador in giving a kingly bow to both Ollie and his Pikachu.[break][break] After Thomas Benoit walks away from the casket, that was her cue to say something to the late Elite Ranger. “Derek, I only wished that you were here to see me progress as a ranger. I thank you for pointing me into becoming one.” A sad smile and somber tone came with her lowered head towards the deceased man. “Good-bye. I hope you and Jonesy can give me strength during my fears, doubts, and hopelessness. Even though we did not meet up with each other often, I’d like to think you are still a cherished friend to me.”[break][break] As soon as she says her good-byes, the Galarian princess steps away from the casket along with Mana and Charles following after her to stay in the quiet corner of the room.
