Retrieving the Spooky Plate from the ground of Petalburg City in the middle of the past war was not so easy with the descent of footsteps. She wished that the others at the General Hospital had gone out safely, but even then, Rocket would be brutal in leaving no survivors. On top of that, Shalin was now in Rocket’s hands in her capture…[break][break]

And those Petalburg rangers under her purview asked Elise to take care of her Pokemon. They were doing great under the Rustboro Ranger Captain’s care and Elise makes sure they’re happy and healthy.[break][break]

In the Upper District, the Galarian Ambassador finds the National Museum of Natural History in Slateport City. The shiny Hatenna is held in the arms of the Galarian royal while Elise carries the Spooky plate inside of her satchel bag and she intends to find her cousin for him to study that mysterious plate. An anomaly that happened because it fell from the rocky titan.[break][break]

Pushing open the glass doors with one hand, her cousin was easy to find within the walls of the museum when she heads to the Hall of Bones & Fossils to find him working there. “Hello cousin, would you spare a moment of your time with me?” She’ll politely ask when the shiny Hatenna jumps down from her arms and Elise takes out the Spooky Plate from her satchel. “I have something for you to help me study. It’s a Spooky Plate that I obtained from Petalburg City during the conflict.”

Maybe it’s the small size of the Mimikyu that lets the smaller ghost blend in the darkness of the deep forests while the golden Hydrapple pushes himself to do recon work for the prince. The group of poachers called the Dragon Fangs were definitely a dangerous bunch for eluding the authorities and as the Ranger Captain too, she had dispatched most of the rangers under Rustboro City to find them.[break][break]

“It’s fine, cousin.” The Galarian Ambassador speaks when it’s her issue to deal with as a ranger in protecting the Pokemon here in the wild of Route 115. “That’s my problem to deal with as much as it is yours because we both want to protect the wild Pokemon here as rangers. Even more so because I am the Ranger Captain of Rustboro now, so I will not be returning to the embassy just yet.”[break][break]

Alastor the Mimikyu watches the golden Hydrapple from the dark. He moves in matching the movements of Mutsu though he’d prefer to watch for any member of the Dragon Fangs from the bushes along with the Galarian princess.

Project Sapphire considers the Mew in the custody of the League to be one of study, whether it’ll be in or out of combat. Remiel states that Mew is the ancestor to all Pokemon, an undeniable fact as the pink fairy interacts with the shard of Calyrex. The hare king, in turn, looks at the floating Mew in curiosity, child-like as a shard of the original League’s Calyrex.[break][break]

“Oh, yes that is right. Mew is the ancestor to all Pokemon, so…I would assume Calyrex came from Mew.” She gives a little laugh at that, wondering how Calyrex would’ve been born in this world. “I’m reminded of an old story from Sinnoh that humans have a common ancestor with Pokemon.”[break][break]

But their meeting with Mew did come with a purpose. It would be to facilitate training with her shard and how Charles followed her orders when she’s bonded with the Calyrex.[break][break]

“Mew, can I ask you to train with Charles? I’d want to do this for Project SAPPHIRE because I want to see how much my bond has progressed.”[break][break]

A small giggle can be heard from the pink cat-like fairy as it nods. Elise ushers Charles to start too as the Bubbles from Mew float up to the air.[break][break]

“I’d want you to use Energy Ball.” She’d command the Calyrex shard as the Calyrex conjures up spheres of light green energy to launch at the Bubbles. When some of the spheres miss the targets, the other Energy Balls hit the Bubbles and pop them.

As the creature answered her question, the Guardian wasn’t all that harmless. Elise is told that the Guardian would do anything to protect the forest and the creatures that make it their home. She did imagine that the Guardian would be very kind to all of the other creatures under their care. [break][break]

“I’m sure your Guardian is the most kind to you and the others.” A nod came from the ambassador as she adjusts her long purple witch’s robes. She wonders if the Guardian would enact their judgement onto her… As an Inquisitor, she’ll probably be the most suspicious in wanting to harm the forest if she was there to defeat the ‘Monster’ that the village talked about.[break][break]

The wooden gates come into view and Elise could see buildings inside the gates. Other creatures could be seen living in them and one other creature could be seen exiting from the gates.[break][break]

That creature was their Guardian as told by the female equine creature. Elise would be taken to meet with them by the female equine. She keeps herself calm and composed as expected of a member of royalty.

Another person’s weight is on her when an apology comes from them. She turns around to see a pink-haired young lady who says that she’s a Pokemon nurse who had a rough day at work. “Oh, it’s no worry. I’m sure your work must be tough to take care of all those Pokemon.” A reply came from the Galarian royal as the Mismagius turns to look at the new lady.[break][break]

“My name is Elise Calcifet and this is my friend, Mana.” She introduces herself and her Mismagius’ before the ambassador wonders if the other woman was there to get something to drink. “Were you wanting to get something to drink at the tea house? It’s actually one of my favorites.”[break][break]

She's also looking forward to trying their Galarian imported cakes since she missed them from Hammerlocke's bakeries.

Mauville Hills is the most haunted place in Hoenn and at night, the apartment complexes were creepy. The ambassador knows that elderly people live here and they were scared of the ghost type Pokemon that made it their home. She can’t blame them though, ghosts had always followed her wherever Elise would go too. Like specters, they are attracted to the help she brings them.[break][break]

Her pink Hatenna follows her across the streets of Mauville Hills during the evening. Elise had taken the smaller Pokemon with her pointy hat to accompany her where the silent ambience was calming to a Pokemon that ran away from stronger emotions felt by many people in the city. The princess is there to see any of their spooky friends that will come out to play.

An opposite of what the Prime Minister fed to the Galarian people back home, Freya says that she assumed Elise was fighting for her people here in Hoenn. The councilwoman sees that the ambassador is fighting for her countrymen here even when Galar isn’t at its fullest yet with the reconstruction of the cities and towns. A light at the end of the tunnel that Elise can feel it from the other end.[break][break]

“You are correct in your assumption. I was fighting for Galar’s people here and I would do anything to help them.” She replies to the councilwoman in a sense of pride for her country. “But my cousin, Remiel Calcifet , was supposed to be its King and even the Galarian people think he has abandoned them. I took up his old position as ambassador because I saw the Galarian people’s suffering. Unfortunately, I am not in line to be queen.”

Starry eyes from the Ogerpon would show a look of confusion from the grass type legendary Pokemon. “Yes, I remember that you really worked hard to free her from the Toxic Chain. I’m glad that it’s all good with Pon now.” And Elise still had people who would frame her as a killer, all because she had followed a logic that would put Hoenn in the least amount of danger from killing both the Megalopolan general and her legendary companion. Charles watches the film all the way until the film ends. The ending wouldn’t be spoiled here, it would run the fun of other readers that watched the film themselves.[break][break]

“Thank you, Andrea. At least, he can enjoy the books that I read to him every day. I get to borrow them from the muncipal library in Rustboro.” She smiles at her friend since she thinks Charles is still like a human being even when the shard is a god in her country. “Maybe Pon would love to read books for herself. The Banette looks over to the small orange Pokemon that tried to clamp at her with its jaws. Red eyes from the ghost turn to anger as a Shadow Ball from the Trapinch weakens the Trapinch. Elise knows that this one can go to a good home with her knight since she already had a Flygon for the dragon to carry her around in the air.[break][break]

Those golden Pokemon were probably what Sapphire would be looking into and as a volunteer, she’s in contact with paxton concordas for the job of researching them with the director. It was also a good idea to see how her bond with Charles, the Calyrex shard bestowed by the League’s Calyrex, would come into play when studying those Pokemon. Elise figures that he’d want to see them for himself too, but she’ll worry if he struggles against them.[break][break]

“I heard some trainers from Rustboro City say they saw one of the gold Pokemon here in Route 115, closer to the city I watch over as Ranger Captain.” A nod from the ambassador comes over to the blond director and her Calyrex floats beside her. “Sapphire would be interested in them, I should think.”[break][break]

Maybe that was something that the scientists over at the League’s HQ would look at too.
