She’d listen to the words of her knight right now and staying might make her vulnerable to attack from the masked man. The man rushes forward with his katana and taunts her, biting at her deepest fears of being the one that couldn’t fight as much as her elder cousin and knight can. His katana was intending to harm her and he goaded her knight too, taunting him that he probably can’t keep his attention on him while protecting her.[break][break]

“I cannot let the innocents’ blood stain on my hands as long as I help them.” The female Galarian royal spat back. Cade’s Blood Moon Ursaluna was already bellowing at her to go and leave the man to fight with the masked Rocket. “But I will not indulge you when I have work to do. Farewell.”[break][break]

There was one last thing for her Calyrex shard to do as told by the ambassador.[break][break]

“Please support Cade and his Pokemon, Charles. I leave that to you now.” She’d instruct the bulbous crowned prince, a legendary Pokemon with powers that she’s sure that Cade and his Pokemon will have help from. Charles nods at her before he stays at the side of the red-headed knight and provides a Helping Hand in using psychic powers to increase the knight's strength.[break][break]

Her Clefable uses her power to Teleport the ambassador away from the katana blade’s reach where it can’t strike her. Her shiny Doublade, Mismagius, and Gengar all follow their trainer in guarding her from further attacks from the Rocket squad that the masked man brought with him. [break][break]

With her entourage of ghostly Pokemon, Elise begins to work on the rest of the medical tent’s patients. She took the hand of another elderly woman in her late fifties and leads her out to get her to an area away from the hospital. Her ghosts do the same with the other medical tent’s elderly and the younger patients who were children.[break][break]

"Does that mean..." Her Mismagius turns to the royal Galarian ambassador when she starts to self doubt herself and Elise would feel the witch ghost move closer to her in comfort. "That I probably can't save everyone in time?"[break][break]

At the battle between Cade’s Hydreigon, the Rocket’s Dragapult, and Elise’s Marshadow, the ghost type mythical Pokemon is knocked back by the Aerial Ace attack from the ghost dragon. Veyle stands up as quickly as she can and tries to deck the Dragapult while it’s distracted with her ally with another Ice Punch![break][break]

Through the walk across the small forest that the ambassador and her two Pokemon come to, a wild Liepard almost pounces onto the Galarian royal. Llamrei steps in to protect the ambassador and launches a Shadow Ball at the wild feline Pokemon. Shadow Ball hits the Liepard as it yowls from the ghostly energy hitting it though it tries to take the shiny Spectrier by surprise with a Sucker Punch.[break][break]

As Llamrei disappears into the air with using Phantom Force, she leaves the wild Liepard to guess where the spectral mare would strike. Reappearing behind the Liepard, the Spectrier rams into the Liepard with such force that it weakens the dark type enough. Elise tosses a Dusk Ball from her pack and lets the button press onto the body of the wild feline Pokemon before the red light too sucks the male feline in.

This man had a Rookidee with him and from what she had experiences with them at the flying Pokemon sanctuary her friend owned in Fortree, they were curious little birds that evolved into fine Corviknight companions. He began to ask her about the politics she was involved with, something that she thinks would bore people if they weren’t in the same field as she was as an ambassador. [break][break]

“The politics that I deal with are fostering new relations with Hoenn and its government. My country allies itself with the League and my predecessor and elder cousin had been teaching me everything he knows.” Elise knows that Remiel had made Hoenn distrust Galar through his former affiliation with Rocket and she wants to affirm the stance Galar has with League. “When he resigned, it falls to me now along with the duty of being Galar’s royal princess. It is up to my position as its royal ambassador to ensure the well-being and happiness of my people here.”[break][break]

Along with the female ghostly equine Pokemon being a bit concerned that the Rookidee had almost injured itself, the hare king looks up at the bird too with curiosity.

The woman asks about the friend that the ambassador has taken along to the embassy. In a way, the shard of Calyrex is a tool for the real Calyrex that’s allied with the League to see how Elise would show him her leadership skills with royal grace. A task and promise that she wished to fulfill since he bestowed a shard version of himself to her. [break][break]

“Oh, my friend here? This is Charles, he is a Calyrex.” The ambassador answers with a little smile. Many people think that legendary Pokemon wouldn’t consider humans to be friends since they had the status of deities to be worshipped, but to her, the League’s Calyrex had put her trust in her that she considered him a friend. “He helps with the gardening around the embassy when I’m busy.”[break][break]

The diligent hare king ensures that the flowers native to Galar in the garden were cared for when he looks over to their states. To him, the flowers were equally healthy in a way that he shouldn’t check on their growth much.

The diplomat lets the agent take her to the specially designed hall around the facilities. It’s near the embassy that Elise sees the shields in the hall too. That reminds her of the shields that dot her father’s estate in Rustboro, ornamental in design and not for combat training like the one Gwyar gives her during her class in Historical Galarian Martial Arts.[break][break]

Hearing the question come from the blue-haired female agent, the diplomat replies with her answer. “I’m not good with combat like my elder cousin is. I’d rather not hurt someone if I can help it, but I understand that defending yourself against assailants are a must.” [break][break]

And the mention that Elise had been training to become a medical officer for the military, specifically the Colonel’s platoon, would come up as a subject that Elise knows.[break][break]

“Yes, that is correct. I am nowhere near as skilled as Colonel Sullivan and his team in his platoon, but they are helping me to train my medical skills for the field.” She gives a nod towards the agent’s question too.

The Galarian ambassador takes her Shellder to the Slateport beach since the female water type Pokemon would be tasked to watch for the swimmers in the water. Eyes from the Shellder look at a female swimmer that would be swimming close to the deep part of the water. Knowing that Kyogre’s influence in the sea would bring aggressive water type Pokemon to attack the brunette woman, Abysstrite springs to action.[break][break]

A Huntail that comes up to the surface speeds towards the female brunette swimmer that Abysstrite does her guarding duty for. Fortunately, the female Shellder is able to see the speeding Pokemon and when she knows the Pokemon is coming for the swimmer aggressively as they come, she shoots out an Ice Beam to stop the Huntail from reaching her charge. [break][break]

The ice forms a wall that the Huntail can’t go through and the elongated water type Pokemon gives up in harming the swimmer. It swims away as the Shellder continues to watch the female swimmer for a while, the watchful eye of the shellfish Pokemon ensures that the swimmer is safer now. [break][break]

"Good job!" Elise calls out to praise the Shellder and the shellfish Pokemon jumps up happily from the water in reply though the water splashes onto another swimmer.

The other contestants’ Pokemon weren’t as attention grabbing as the legendary shard that accompanies the ambassador. Elise doesn’t think that the other competitors in the Steel Chef Cooking Competition were paying attention to her assistant than the host herself. Her dish for the last round was a bit passable, but she needed to up her cooking game if she wanted to win![break][break]

When the next round gives the chefs time to make food from Unova, the diplomat would put her own experience with trying the Unovan food here and make chicken fried steak for the judges. In a bowl, she puts the flour and bread crumbs to mix together inside while Elise uses her chopsticks to whisk the full egg in another bowl.[break][break]

That would be the coating for the ground beef that she takes out of the fridge.[break][break]

She already had put the ground beef in the oven when she watches the time tick off until the beef is ready to be coated. Coating the ground beef with the bread crumb and egg batter, Elise’s attempt at a chicken fried steak was ready to be served with a dash of paprika spice to give it a bit more flavor.[break][break]

Psychic powers from the Calyrex bring the plates over to the ambassador as she cuts up the chicken fried steak and places them on each of the plates. [break][break]

“Though I am not familiar with Unovan food, I hope this will be sufficient.” She speaks with a smile as the Calyrex shard comes to help clean the pan. “It’s chicken fried steak, a first attempt at this dish that my father liked from a Unovan restaurant we went to here.”[break][break]

On Charles' own plate, she serves him the chicken fried steak that she made. He eats the little pieces, savoring each of the flavor.[break][break]

Elise doesn’t have time to get to the next tent and evacuate the patient there when the Rockets, all wearing masks, start to pour in towards the medical tents and the area around the general hospital. A Dragapult comes to meet with her knight’s Hydreigon, a Pokemon that she owned too along with her guard owning a female one that was the daughter of hers. [break][break]

When the rest of her Pokemon return back to her side after they help with evacuating those out of the tents, relief washes over the ambassador since she thought that she won’t have time to help those who were still at the medical tents. Her Marshadow acts when Veyle sees the Hydreigon fighting with the Dragapult and with a Shadow Sneak up to the fighting dragons, she reappears to deliver a hard Ice Punch onto the floating Dragapult.[break][break]

“I thought that you all would come to take whatever medical supplies that the medical facility has in its grasp.” Purple eyes narrow with her biting words at the masked man when the man attempts to attack her guard first. She gets a sinking feeling that Rockets would also try and target her because of her elder cousin being a former Rocket traitor in their high ranks. [break][break]

Her Gengar comes to guard her while the knight is busy. “You and your lot must be terrible people if you are all involving those that are hurt in the crossfire of war.” The Galarian royal doesn’t want the sick and injured to be hurt even more in a war like this, they were the people that she was responsible for tending to while the colonel was off in another area of the city. [break][break]

And she’d worry about whether her knight would be okay.[break][break]

“Are you going to be alright?” Her concerned question is asked towards the red-headed knight. The Calyrex shard would also float over to guard the Galarian princess since he was nearby her even if she worried a lot over the safety of the hare king.

She’s thankful that Alex had stopped Miss Bertha’s teasing on her when the lady would’ve continued with how much Elise was blushing right now. Her blushes were up there on par with how embarrassed the Fortree gym leader was being. “Thank you, Alex.” The ambassador is calmer now while Miss Bertha gives a little giggle over how embarrassed the diplomat is.[break][break]

“I’ll come stop by your shop when I’m in Fortree next time.” She smiles at Miss Bertha before the diplomat returns to the cart. Her Minun and Plusle were dutifully guarding it to make sure that no one stole the rest of the eggs that needed to be delivered.[break][break]

When Alex mentions that Miss Bertha was a busybody, Elise gives a little laugh. “Yes, I figured that she was a busybody. She seems to know more about love lives than I thought.”[break][break]

With the day still being there, the Galarian ambassador ends up helping to unload the other eggs to each of the delivery locations that Alexei takes her.

A Thievul stands in the way of the ambassador and her two Pokemon. Elise had already gotten a Nickit for the fox to play around with her two Vulpixes, so she doesn’t need another. She had never heard the sound from the dark type fox, maybe it was silent as it came across the path they were going on. Llamrei snorts and she scares off the wild Thievul with a stamp of her hoof. [break][break]

Llamrei successfully scares off the wild Thievul as the fox runs off into the night opposite from where Elise and Charles were going too. The Spectrier continues to trot in front of them, her mane waves across the wind that blows through the summer air.

Flames and smoke were still rising from the stage. There was no end in sight for them to be doused out unless someone else had a Water type Pokemon. The Rocket that was interested in her didn’t come closer now because of his Pokemon, a Gengar, being fought against by her Marshadow and Noel’s Pokemon. Noel had also attacked the grunt, a testament that he was still a friend who cared about her too. [break][break]

Coughing comes from the ambassador when she tries to side step around the Toxic Spikes. Her blue-haired friend urges her to help the old man too and she doesn’t have time to chase after the Rocket grunt that the nefarious man would’ve tried to harm the older civilian.[break][break]

“I will give you back up.” She gives Noel Parker a nod before her Marshadow comes to her side. While Noel goes to help evacuate the other civilians, she switches out her Marshadow for the Calyrex shard to have Charles help with cutting off the escape route that the Rockets were taking.[break][break]

The green bulbous crown on the leporine king starts to glow as he attempts to use Psychic powers to hold some of the Rockets in place. After how they were targeting her cousin, Elise wouldn’t want them to harm her family any longer.[break][break]

The ears of the shiny Spectrier perk up to hear the rustling come form the nearby trees and she snorts, her hooves take her towards a Skuntank that came out of the bushes. Intense neighs came from the pink Spectrier as the mare tries to scare off the Skuntank from the wild Pokemon being a threat to both the ambasssador and the Calyrex shard. [break][break]

With success, the skunk Pokemon moves out of fear from the Spectrier coming close to it.[break][break]

She continues to let the Spectrier lead while the shard of Calyrex looks out for other Pokemon too during their nightly walk.

The ambassador takes the Dusk Ball that contained her newly caught Gible and releases him out to play with her Shellos and shiny Dhelmise. She smiles over at the small dragon who appeared to be the most well-behaved and didn’t knock over the sand castle that she and the Dhelmise built togther for the East Sea Shellos. Woglinde has her fun with going in and out of the castle as if the space was made for her.[break][break]

Buzzing of wings makes the Galarian Ambassador take note of a Scyther that comes across their way. The Scyther realizes that both the Shellos and the Gible were having their fun with the sand castle, so it would leave the ambassador and her Pokemon alone. Maybe it realizes that it didn’t want to bother the two little Pokemon when it probably looked for a fight.
