The ambassador had no shortage of other men that gave her praise over her looks. She never flaunts much on it while Sabine appeared to be the type to be vain over how she looked. Even her last boyfriend had found her to be more beautiful than the women in the bar that day.[break][break]

“I am the same like you in that way.” A little chuckle came from the royal ambassador when she replies. “Many other men try to throw themselves at me. Those were the ones that have the boldness to compliment my beauty.”[break][break]

When he comments that her Sprigatito found something, the delivery man asks if that was her roomie or something else. The female Sprigatito tries to sniff around for a scent too.[break][break]

That was the same job that the residents had put out a little ad, asking whoever had the bravery and guts to figure out what was haunting their home and no one else had taken it other than the Galarian ambassador herself. Truthfully, she had no idea who else took the job when she comes up to the home by the outskirts of Rustboro City.[break][break]

Her Mismagius brings along a book of texts on Johtonian exorcism rites and prayers from the ambassador’s late mother while the little shiny Hisuian Zorua came along to the ambassador’s trek to the home. While Elise had brought along the Calyrex shard inside his Dive Ball, she’ll only call for him if measures were really drastic in dealing with the spirits in the homeowners’ home.[break][break]

A blond man in priest’s garb is already there at the home’s doorstep along with a Dusknoir by his side. She stops a little short of being behind the man when her two ghost Pokemon stop too.[break][break]

“Have you taken the same job that the homeowners wanted as well?” Elise asks first and partly because if he was a priest, he would know much on the spirits inside the home. “I’ve answered their call because they needed help on the restless spirits in their home.”[break][break]

After all that she watches her mother perform the spiritual rites of exorcism at work in Ecruteak’s homes, Elise is confident that her training amounted to doing the same like the current head of her mother’s clan.

She’d admire the way that Remiel really cared much for the temple being in top shape and that he can’t let it be destroyed in another war. The temple was a cultural site for the Draconids, much like how the tower in Hammerlocke was one too. A tapestry that was hundreds of years old would never be replaced easily.[break][break]

“I’m sorry, cousin.” The bloody handprint comes to mind when she is firm in wanting to do the opposite of what he told her to do. “But I must decline. I can’t let you get into danger when I or Charles am not here to patch your wounds if you get injured in this temple.”[break][break]

The shadows continue to swirl around her and her shard. When her late mother helped her develop those abilities from her mother’s family of spirit mediums, Elise finds that she can’t turn this off no matter how hard she tried.[break][break]

And it scares her to this day that shadows would follow her. She’d much prefer being in the warm safety and comfort of her beloved knight, Cadeyrn Osmond , when she can see his smile and feel his gentle hands on hers.[break][break]

Unlike the other people that were scared of her because of her communication with ghost Pokemon, he didn’t seem to mind. That was what made her fall deeply in love with him. He cared a great deal about her as a person than a princess above his station.[break][break]

When she sees Charles float off to follow the running prince and his Illumina Garchomp, the ambassador follows after her cousin in an attempt to see the shadowed figure. "Were you able to get a good look?" She asks the older prince when she catches up, thanks to being able to follow the light from the Garchomp's snout as the female dragon moved.

The ambassador falters in a way that the Head of Hoenn’s Foreign Relations counters that her wish would be second to Galarian interest and puts the people of Hoenn in mind. Never mind that she would put Galarian interest in the current alliance her country offered with Hoenn. This was going in circles over the way that Mr. Silph speaks.[break][break]

As much as she wanted to get angry, there was an eerie sense of calm. No point in losing her courtly Galarian dignity or to behave improperly as a royal princess of Galar. That would put the Queen’s manners to shame.[break][break]

“Galar is only unreliable because I have not negotiated with the Queen yet and it does not pose a huge risk in being in this alliance.” She gives her response and turn that conversation on its head. “And with all due respect, Mr. Silph, were you aware that the League’s Calyrex has placed its faith in me during everyone’s audience at the League’s Dyna Tree?”[break][break]

Many, if not some of the League’s other officials were in attendance of that day too while the bestowment of the shard was what people can see.[break][break]

“I am sure that my Calyrex will help sow trust with Hoenn’s people as much as he has won the hearts of many of my Galarian people.”

The month of October would be going to the Halloween holiday around the corner. Elise would take her Hisuian Zorua with her since the little fox wanted to play with the ghost Pokemon there. They reach the cemetery in Mt. Pyre around nighttime which was home to those spirits, ones that never moved on in the world. Many of the ambassador’s own ghosts wouldn’t have problems with communicating with the wild ones.[break][break]

Chiyo pokes around the graves as she tries to figure out which ones would come out to play with her. The female fox is still respectful of the many graves since she didn’t want to bother some angry spirit that’ll get upset with her.

When Jasmine gets her fill of the food, the Galarian royal recalls her grass kitten back inside her Dusk Ball though she doesn’t notice that her shiny Zorua takes the kitten’s place to find food himself after he breaks out of his Dusk Ball. “I’m sorry, I’ll have to excuse myself to get some food for Charles.” She apologizes to the Rustboro ranger before leaving silverio delfino ’s side to get another paper plate for her hare king.[break][break]

She’ll have to get something for Mana when her Mismagius would be hungry too if the ghost wanted.[break][break]

While Charles follows the Galarian ambassador in seeing his paper plate getting a little salad and ranch dressing for him, the blue tipped fox Pokemon scampers off to the table not far from where Elise and Charles were getting the food from. He jumps on the table to grab a meat skewer in his mouth before going down to look for someplace to eat.[break][break]

What the Zorua doesn’t anticipate, however, is that he bumps into El Sunderland who came with their Alakazam and he drops the meat skewer to the ground. [break][break]

The ambassador, meanwhile reflects how her selflessness was a double-edged sword. A thing that had made her unwilling to look after herself than to abandon people to their fate. She has gotten herself in danger in times that she can count from her own selflessness.

A tug on her dress makes the well-dressed Galarian turn towards Eris Halla . That small girl asks if she’s doing alright and the facade was slowly slipping off. “I am doing fine, thank you.” Ivy’s lips grace itself with a small smile before she’ll watch the ghosts go about their business during the night. Her time was up now and as much as she enjoyed talking with her two new male friends, she imagined that Isaac Ward and paxton concordas would have a fine talk with each other.[break][break]

“But I suppose…I will have to take my leave during the night.” Ivy says in a wistful tone. “I’ve had my fun here, but my time has come to an end. I wished to have fun and I was very glad that I have gotten to do so.”[break][break]

At the very least, her male companions were pretty good to talk with, all things considered.[break][break]

The Galarian noblewoman shifts back into her true form through her Illusion: a Hisuian Zorua. The female fox scurries off inside the mansion’s hall just as the light from the dawn breaks through the doorway.[break][break]

And the mansion doors close once the guests were ushered outside.

While her cousin knows the shadows as a sub Ghost type specialist, the Galarian ambassador knows every strange sound, shadow, and the cobwebs plus the dust that came with haunted places she explored. The Calcifets were occultists before they were royalty, so she’d pick up on the interest on her late mother being a Johtonian spirit medium too. [break][break]

Deeper into the temple they would go, she looks around to see more of the corridors. Darkness would have made them lost, but thanks to the illumination from the Garchomp’s snout, Elise’s relief came with how prepared her cousin was in exploring the deeper parts that were without ambient light. [break][break]

Clearly, the archaeologist prince came to a stop when he points at a partially obscured stone trail that the Garchomp’s bright snout shows. “I see it too, cousin. Are we looking into the artifacts here in the temple itself?” She asks first since the princess wonders if they’ll look into the ancient history of the temple. Her cousin was the one that studied much into the Draconids first after all.[break][break]

The blood-stained handprint that’s clear from the Garchomp’s illuminated snout sends another chill down the princess’ spine. It’s smearing meant that someone else may have shared an unfortunate fate down there as the Calyrex shard takes a look at it too. “Please do not go too far ahead. We do not know what can await us deeper, Charles.” Elise comes over to where the shard of Calyrex would be looking at the handprint like a worried mother for her child.

When she was at royal balls in the Calcifet Palace, she didn’t have much trouble with getting a dance partner while the nobles chatted with her. On the other hand, her overall beauty hid the meekness that she felt a long time ago. It had enthralled most of the noblemen to dance with her though she had acted calmer to counter her anxiety with social situations.[break][break]

“They might be intimidated by my royal status.” The ambassador replies with a little solemn tone. “Or they had read the tabloid with my face on it. I am always popular with those tabloids, especially since they had caught wind of my relationship with my royal knight.”[break][break]

Unfortunate that the tabloids had labelled the gossip as a secret tryst or an illicit love affair between the Galarian princess and her royal guard. That can’t be the truth, she had admitted that she loved Sir Osmond from when she had stayed in Galar permanently six years ago.[break][break]

“I would love to dance with you.” She gives a smile as the royal ambassador stands from the chair. “And I hope we can speak more while we dance as well.”

A Wiglett pops out from the sand of the beach that the shiny Rowlet and the Calyrex play together on. While the Calyrex works on building more of the sand castle to make it a bit bigger for the shard to be inside, Artemis turns around to see the water type Pokemon stare at her. Upset hoots came from the small owl Pokemon as she takes up the battle with the wild Wiglett.[break][break]

Leafage from the shiny Rowlet batters the Wiglett as the water type shuts his eyes. He flails around with multiple Aqua Jets while the shiny Rowlet attacks again with a Leaf Blade. Elise throws a Dusk Ball at the wild Wiglett since she thinks this one will be a good asset to her ranger work in the summer.

Preston does not look like the type of man who would be brave in the face of meeting angered ghosts. Still, a distressed person needed her help while Isaac would try to comfort the masked man. She files another nasty plot in her head later, that’ll be for when it’ll be the time to play around with him. All of the others were panicking too, it was no doubt that the ghost Pokemon were showing their colors to the guests.[break][break]

“It does not look like a ruse when the guests are panicking and running for their lives. The ghosts must be testing our resolve.” The Galarian woman answers the man’s question while she sees him panic too. Right now, it didn’t look like the ghost Pokemon here would let the guests leave, maybe there was something they wanted out of them.[break][break]

“But yes, I agree that we will seek help for our distressed friend here.” A nod came from the Galarian female when she has to think of who would help Preston. With masks on, it was harder to determine whether people would be willing to help the distressed blond man.
