Even before the older male speaks they knows who it is. The smoke is one give away. The other is the shadow miasma that fills the room. His words give them pause and they turn their head towards the older male seeming to regard him for a minute. As if trying to decide their next course of action.

Cillian Quinn was an underboss of team rocket so they could probably trust him. They didn’t want what the looked like to get out. Until they complete accomplish their goals they couldn’t allow word to get out what he looked like. Couldn’t chance his parents finding out he was alive until he was ready for them to know.

The older male didn’t seem like the gossiping type though. So perhaps it would be okay to remove the mask in his presence. Though not until he was sure he wouldn’t go telling someone what he’d seen under the mask.

”On one condition, you keep what I look like under the mask to yourself.” He was right that removing the mask would make the work a bit easier. But he was use enough to doing everything with the mask on that he would be fine working with it on.

They were feeling restless. The teen didn’t have any work to do and they were feeling like they needed to go do something. Though they couldn’t think of anything to do. Not off the top of their head. Reading like they normally would when hanging out in their room and was out, since they needed new reading material.

Getting up from where they had been laying flat on their back in their room they decided to go look around the base for something today. Slipping their usual mask on, that hid the top half of their face they made their way out of their room. They passed a few other members who seemed to busy to notice them, which didn’t faze them.

Their wondering feet led them to the gym. It’d been awhile since they’d worked out. Not that they thought their skills were rusty. But getting in a bit of a workout would give them something to do. And would kill this boredom they had.

Bypassing the weights and other exercise equipment they went over to some punching bags. Before they started throwing any punches they did a bit of a warm up. Then after making sure their gloves were secure on their hands they started punching the bag.

When he had nothing to do he liked relaxing. Sometimes with a nice book in his room or being surrounded by nature. He had read all the books he currently owned which actually weren’t very many, so he supposed he would have to find a place where he could surround himself with nature.

Wasn’t really in the mood to leave the hideout though. So that’s why he found himself in the courtyard. There was just something aesthetically pleasing about the place. Probably had something to do with flowers and plants that were around the place. It gave the place a certain serenity.

Finding a bench he sat down just taking in the scenery. Contrary to belief despite the mask he wore to cover the top half of his face he actually could see. To an outsider’s perception it probably would seem like it blocked out his vision. But it actually didn’t.

The teen hadn’t been involved with the Postdormitorium mission. They had been made to stay behind at the base. That didn’t mean they hadn’t made themself useful though. They had made sure they had plenty of medical supplies on hand to heal the injured. And had been on standby in case help was needed to tend to the injured.

Tending to injuries wasn’t something they were the best at. But they were decent enough and blood didn’t faze them. Not like how it use to. There was just something about being injured to the point of nearly dying that made it so blood didn’t faze a person. Or that’s the way it happened for them. Of course they had been injured so badly before joining rocket and was was in the final stages of recovery when they had stumbled across members of team rocket. By that point they had already donned a mask to hide their identity.

Hearing their superior speak they turned their head towards him. Due to the mask that covered the top half of their half it would be near impossible to know what they thought from checking their expression. Their nod wouldn’t give away what they truly felt either. But with anyone who had worked with them would know that they would do whatever was asked of them.

”I didn’t exactly do much not as much as some people anyway. I’m content to take things easy for now though,” they commented their tone completely neutral. It was the way they spoke to anyone they weren’t real use to.[break] mint frost

He had been tasked with getting Slowbro that they had on hand to revert back to Slowpoke. To do so the Shellder from Slowbro’s tale would be removed. Once that happened the Slowpoke code supposedly be re-evolved into Galarian Slowbro. Apparently they had only had the Kanto version on hand. And it was their Galarian equivalent that was in demand instead. Probably due to the way it looked. Though he couldn’t be sure.

The teen wasn’t really sure he got it. To him a Pokémon was a Pokémon. In the long run it didn’t really matter to him. So he was just content to follow orders and do what was asked of him. He had yet to be given an assignment he was opposed to though.

To de-shell the Slowbro’s he was using a knife. He was using it to cut away the shell. He was careful to keep his hands away from the blade not wanting to lose a finger or accidentally cut himself. He was doing fairly well despite wearing his ever present mask that covered the top half of his face. He was use to getting things done with the mask on though, so it wasn’t really a hinderance.[break] Cillian Quinn

Mauville hills. It wasn’t a place they normally frequented. However they’d thought it paramount to add more Pokémon to their team. Hopefully Pokémon that knew the meaning of stealth. While they liked all Pokémon they liked when they could perform sneak attacks, probably because they felt like they had more in common with such Pokémon.

Poseidon, their greninja, was the one they felt closest to. Probably because it was the one they had had the longest. And they had both been broken when they found each other. Sage supposed they had helped each other heal. And because of that they knew Poseidon would always be loyal to them, not that they thought Nightwing was disloyal.

Resisting the urge to sigh they shook their head to clear their thoughts. Making sure their mask was still firmly on their face they turned their head towards Poseidon who was keeping an eye out for Pokémon just like they were. ”Nothing yet, do you see anything?” they asked their partner.

The greninja made a sound of negative and they nodded. ”I figured as much, we’ll just have to keep looking,” they told the ninja pokemon.
